Saw it. Wanted it. Built it.

Shoutout to quad66. Copied his build found on here. I love it. 3s 3"

79.5g without battery. 3D printed myself a small antenna holder and put some E6000 glue on the VTX antenna. Pretty solid now.

Got too comfortable with it, went faster and faster and ended up smashing it into smithereens. :D

Rebuilt most things except the motors and camera those survived.

Replaced the original AIO with a JHEMCU GHF411AIO-HD. Very cheap off aliexpress and also is thicker so this one shouldnt break on me. Replaced with a whoop antenna. Bought a pile of those and they work great. The EP2 RX, I've had 3 ceramic antennas break on me now. I ended up just soldering on a small wire to the pad instead and it works just as good. I stopped replacing it. Shortened power cable a bit as well.

It didn't fly that great with betaflight default settings. Used the tune quad66 built and it's working well:

Good construction! Regarding a singularity and mount on the cross-brace, I had the same idea. I'll try yours out!

Nice build! I had that same thought about a singularity and mount on the cross-brace. I'll give yours a try!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
