Everytime I see a nice hd toothpick pop up on rotorbuilds I tell myself..yes let's do it! but always something else distracts me.

My GepRC Phantom frankenbuild with 3in flew so good that I missed that feeling when turning it into a original 2.5in (see my other build). I could have shaved another 6-8gr easily by going with the crux3 frame I have multiple laying around and using nylon screws for props and motors. But I prefer to build my kwads crash resistant as I hate to rebuild! lol

Drilling out the caddx holes was a clinchyourbutt moment but in the end it wasnt that hard at all, the rest was like the famous Joshua Bardwell once said about toothpicks, it's like building a ship in a bottle. I had a couple of elrs rx's ordered, I wanted to install the ep1 with the mini-t antenna but the ep2 with ceramic antenna arrived sooner. Turns out I found a perfect spot to place it! :)

Some tweaking on the software side and maiden it as soon the weather clears up!

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
