Transplanted the Mobula 6 electronics to a BetaFPV HX100SE frame and replaced motors by Happymodel 1102 - 19000 Kv's.
I would go with the Flywoo 1202.5 next time, because of the thicker 1.5mm shaft and probably better throtthle handling and efficiency.
But this thing is absolutely silent.
It's a quick and easy mod, but so much better.

What screws are you using on the canopy to frame? The mobula canopy holes seem like perhaps M1.6 and M2 nylon screws can't seem to be forced in. Can you explain how you proceeded please

I used metal M2 screws

sweet build! I'm working on something similar myself. Happy flying!

Get motors with a 1,5mm shaft, these bent very quickly.

I was using EX1102 13500KV. Be aware that EX1102 motors are very fragile. There is a weak point in the shaft. Where the shaft is sticking out of the motor bell they designed a grove for the clip stopper. When using very soft propellers (BETAFPV Gemfan 65mm 2-Blade) it was "ok" but when I have tried some stiffer props (HQ Prop Micro Prop 65mm Bi-Blade 2.5) or (GEMFAN 65mmS 65mm 2 Paddle) the shaft is snapping off every 3-6 crashes. The propellers are intact. I have trashed 5 motors within 2 weeks flying 1h daily. Now I'm back to BetaFPV motors 1102 18000KV. Now the ideal KV for what I was trying to achieve but at least they are holding.

Congratulations on a successful build ;) I made an almost identical one on 0802 motors and the kV is 14250 kV. Your 1102 motors are 19,000 kV. Is it not too high? What batteries do you have and what are the flight times?

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
