We are trying to discover new possibilities with 3" racers and this seems to be a good way. The frame is just a prototype and this is the test quad. Just after the first test flight, we are impressed.
The frame is a smaller version of the Rotorama Samurai V2 frame, which really sets the limit during the summer. It supports up to 3" propellers and weighs 17 grams (which is 10 grams lighter than Meffie 3"). Yet it should be durable enough to survive some crashes even with bigger motors. The frame is designed for 16x16mm stacks and nano cameras.
For the test quad, we have chosen 1404 7000Kv, Foxeer Predator Nano and iFlight SucceX Micro. The result is impressive. The weight of the quad is 84 grams without the battery. So far we have tested it with 2 blades propeller and it flies like crazy :) We are going to test it more with different props and batteries, but this setup has a big potential to be our fastest 3" for this winter season.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
