I love my Whoops and had to share my latest creation to the world. I have been flying a similar 22000kv guy that is freeking outstanding. this one shown here is a 25000kv motored unit that I have hardwired the motors to the FC. I have'nt done much else in attempting to keep the weight down. I might play with lightening the camera mount and portions of the frame, not sure yet, Not seen in these photos is how I attached the TBS receiver to the frame and the conformal coating of this sucker.

Hi, I'm attempting something similar with the same board on a Beta75x, and only just found out that this board is supposed to be mounted "upside down", which leaves me with either doing what you have done: solder the motors direct to the board, or flip the FC in betaflight. I'm thinking the latter option might be a better, but it's not going well so far. Your thoughts please.

some of those points to solder to can be incredibly small and difficult to solder. I am using an Edsyn unit at 375~ degrees but what really helps is flux. use plenty of it and it will improve your soldering in a huge way. just make sure to clean it all off with alcohol after your are done with the soldering. Sorry, im not a betaflight expert and I try not to fool the flight controller with settings. Here is a link to the flux I use and recommend; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00425FUW2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
