So, this is just a little snippet where, if you type !ascii (symbol) it will give you the ASCII value of that symbol. And, if you !char (number) it will give you the symbol for the given value. I used..

if you have wanted your text to £øøk £íkè thís. you need my Ascii Text snippet. it now has a different menu only on and off has more text replaces. rate it if you like it.

This is a simple enough script to show the $chr() codes, i've added a search function too so you can find the $chr code easily, without having to search the list.

This snippet goes two ways. You can type /ascii win to create a new window with the characters, or /ascii dial to create a dialog with the characters. Your choice to what you think is easier. Please note..
