Manual/Autovoice

By Warriorii on Mar 13, 2010

This script will autovoice the nicks+address u add or it auto adds to the .ini file. It will create the .ini file with the first entry. It's pretty simple but it is my first script and I wanted to share it with anyone that wanted it. It does work it has been tested. To start just Hi-lite a nick in the nicklist then right click in the channel then go to autovoice then click on Add Autovoice. Remember it is my first one so don't expect to much lol. Just copy it into a clean remote

I want to Thank WhoBear for getting me started on it...

I have completely re-done the Autovoice, now it will automatically add them to the autovoice list execpt it wont add guests. You can put in an if statement to stop it from adding your ops by coping and pasting this under the if (guest isin $nick) statement just change the guest to what ever nick u dont want it to add. use as many as u want.. Just remember to leave one guest in there so they wont be added to the list

 add the isin statements like this
if (guest isin $nick) { return }
if (jondoe isin $nick) { return }
if (jondoe2 isin $nick { return }
and so on... under the on 1:join:

slub77 going around and wearing people's snippets with his so called "designer dialog outfits." lol

Well Slub77, as a courtesy, next time ask the author of a snippet for his or her consent first to see if it's okay to use their scripts as a base for your dialog work. Some authors don't wish their scripts to be altered in any way.

Sorry Slub77, Thats not my script, please don't be changing it. I want it the way it is now if I want a dialog I'll do it later on. Thanks. Besides I copied and pasted in my mirc and tried it out and it didn't even work. I hi-lighted a nick and clicked add and it added everyone in the channel.

I have changed the .txt over to .ini Remember it will create the file with the first entry. Thanks again Jethro_ for letting me know about the ini and txt. i'll have to learn about hash tables and give them a try.

You can optimize your script by using ini or hash table in place of txt.

I agree voice isn't much execpt for the fact if u have all the ops u need and still have some good users in your channel if they are voiced it makes them feel better and if u need to moderate the channel for some reason then the voiced can still talk

well looks good to me but im not a pro at this. i just dont see any point in it since chats have the built in feature of adding people to the vop list but i never use that either i find voice as a pointless and useless feature
