These two aliases below both check for Java users. In a simple way, it checks the users hostmask which almost always has a trace of JAVA in it. Note that this isn't the advanced way, look below for examples.

Search a channel: /findjava - while on a channel, it echoes the users who have JAVA trace in their hostmask.

Check a user: $ifjava(user) - if the user is on a channel you're on, this returns true or false depending on their hostmask.
