Leet talking

By Cage on Apr 08, 2006

Very simple alias. Just type "/leet yourmessage" and it will translate your message into leet writing.

;begin leet speak
alias leet {
  msg $active $replace($1-,t,+,a,4,e,3,s,z,i,1,o,0,H,|-|,K,|<,A,@,M,|\/|)
  halt
}
;end leet speak

It would if you wanted to use leet speak constantly. But with the alias, you can turn it on and off.

Wouldnt this do better as an input?

on :input:: {
msg $active $replace($1-,t,+,a,4,e,3,s,z,i,1,o,0,H,|-|,K,|<,A,@,M,|\/|)
halt
}

I agree CaptainHollyShort. It could use more elite speak things. (Not sure what to call them.) Also this just looks almost like a remake of SuperGeo\'s.

Good, but you could use more 1337sp33k, like $replace($1-,H,|-|,K,|<,A,@) etc...
