Good question. But there are trends, and this trend follows into Bot features/making it more lifelike as XDaemon put it once. No script is pointless for the most part.

Say you have a channel. Noone has been talking (this can follow in with the snnippet i requested). It just gives a possible topic to chat about. Also fills the channel, so new people just dont leave cause there is no activity.

And also, there was awhile were Bot Away Systems were popular. Extra features that make things more interesting/fun and all that good stuff, can be a nice addon to bots.

I never said a bot would need an mp3 player. Some bots dont have many features, and little stuff like this can help with that. This is for entertainment purposes.

It may seem pointless. But later down the road, when you scripting a bot. And decide to use colors or some extra stuff to spoof you bot up. I guarentee you will refer back to here. And most likely look at one of Sasuke\'s snippets.

I\'d like to personaly say that having Sasuke\'s creative ideas here at Hawkee. Has helped me in adding stuff to my bot. We all have had the games awhile back. But I think its good that he is posting creative/fun snippets. Functionality is always good. But Creativity and originality is also a must.
