I'm not very technical in nature so i won't get into that. What I will say is after doing my research I chose this TV and went and looked at it a best buy and I was sold. I have had the 50" Pioneer plasma for over a year and it's beautiful however, if an LCD was going to convert me, this would be one of them. More importantly, I would like to mention the experience of buying through AMAZON. I was sceptical paying all this money for a TV through the mail but I saved about $400 (including tax) from the local BB so I thought I would give it a try. In my case, when the TV arrived, the delivery guy brings it inside, opens the top half of the box, hooks it up to a scource to ensure it works and then left. Way more than expected. Now for the icing on the cake. I recently learned about AMAZON's post-order price guarentee. They will refund any reduction in price for 30 days after shipment and let me tell you, in my case it was like watching the stock market (4 price changes in a day). Anyway,

As with most electronics you get what you pay for. I did a lot a research for a good sized HDTV and the review consensus is that this new line of Samsung TV's have a better picture than the Sony's. I would have to agree (of course because I own a Samsung now). I have a PS3 hooked up for blu-ray and DirecTV for hidef satellite. Yes the picture can appear 'grainy' depending on the source and the quality of the original HD picture but with the correct settings you can hardly notice. Blu-ray planet earth even has a few spots where the picture quality wasn't as great as the other 96% of the show and if you nit pick you can see some pixelation. The AMP 120hz setting, I found, really does help when a mountain peak is moving across the screen. Use the 'demo' mode to see the difference when a large stationary object is moving across the screen.
You need to calibrate the picture for the source you're using to get the 'great' picture. There's a 1260+ post thread on the AVS forums dedicated

The TV is amazing. I looks like you're peaking through a window. It's more than the resolution (which is perfect), it is the depth of color and the motion. It is so real it takes a little time to get used to (and you can remove the effect if it bothers you), but it will blow friends and family away (which is always nice).
The sound is fine (if you get the 750 series it has a built-in woofer), the remote isn't perfect, but its no where near as bad as some of the reviews would lead you to believe.
It also handles standard definition TV very well (some LCDs don't look so hot). Its probably the best TV on the market as of right now, and it isn't overly expensive, if you are struggling to decide, just click BUY NOW, you won't be disappointed.

The Samsung Series 7, 46" HD LCD was easy to connect; I had the TV and home theater system connected in about 10 minutes. Initial TV setup was easy and intuitive. The menu items and submenu items are intuitive. The HD picture quality is absolutely awesome. I have not seen any of the flaws attributed to previous generations of LCD TVs, e.g., blurred response to action scenes. The remote selections are intuitive. In particular, it has a tools menu that contains most of the selections that you would use on a regular basis. The user's manual is very comprehensive, explaining the details of different operating modes. PS: Amazon's "White Glove" delivery service was also great.

Waited to write a review because I wanted the "honeymoon" phase to pass...over a month later and we are still in love with this TV and Amazon! We researched online and in person for a very long time before making our purchase and we couldn't be more thrilled. The picture quality and additional features on this Samsung TV are amazing. Our room is very bright with lots of windows & skylights and we have no problem with glare or picture fade on this unit. Was hesitant to purchase electronics over the internet instead of at a local store, but honestly this is one of the best purchases we have ever made with not a single moment of regret. Amazon shipped the TV very quickly, and the white glove delivery was incredible. They set up the TV in our wall unit, made all the connections so we could check it out before signing for it, and took all the packaging away. The purchase price was lower than the local stores, plus there was no sales tax and no shipping charges. HERE IS THE BEST PART...Amazon

This camera is an ideal everyday camera for photos and videos. The image stabilization, face recognition, and great performance (start-up and shot-to-shot times) were especially useful in real indoor and outdoor situations.
The primary purpose for us purchasing this camera was so my stay-at-home wife could quickly and easily capture the "firsts" and other special moments of our almost 11 month old. It was a day-to-day replacement for a Pentax istDS digital SLR (great quality but impractical and SLOW autofocus on indoor/flash shots) and a few years old lowest-end miniDV JVC camcorder (a pain to capture/edit/archive.)
The last semi-compact digital we purchased was a Canon A40. Really great camera. In 2002.
Top Three SD770 Pros:
- Size: There's hardly an excuse not to bring this anywhere you might want to take real photos and quick videos. It's barely thicker than a deck of cards and smaller than one of said cards. (See customer photos)
- Overall Real-world Performance: Truly a joy to use.

The TV is excellent but I wrote this review to make people aware that CEVA shipping is absolutely rubbish and they are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They kept my TV at their local location for 8 days and marked a note saying that they called the customer and he did not answer and the online tracking says something else totally. But I never received any phone call or VM, and the customer service tells me that they don't know because they are only answering phone - only answering phones ?? what the hell is that ? - and tell me to leave a VM on their system and then no one responds for 2 days.
So if you want to buy this TV buy it from some other place which uses UPS/fedex shipping because through Amazon you don't have a choice but to go through ceva.

We own a 1GB Sansa Shaker and love it. A few advantages it has over an iPod Shuffle are the external speaker, the easy controls, and the kids love being able to change songs (and hear fun sound effects) by shaking the player. The 1GB model holds around 250 songs and the SD cards make it easy to swap tunes with someone else. At the current $15 sale price it's a great deal! Great gift for kids, they will love it! I recommend using a rechargable AAA battery (not included).

I bought this from amazon recently. It's simply as good as the other folks have said it is.
Battery life :awesome, above 2 hours of charge (have not charged it again in a week). Taken 1 hr or so of XP, SP quality videos. Windows vista simply rocks....plug the SD card in my HP entertainment PC and it takes care of everything. No file modification/renaming etc required.
Size/Ergonomics: Perfect, just like holding a 200ml can of red bull. sideways, that's all :)
Very easy1 handed operation, I am not worried about arthritis since the thing is soooo light even with the batery included. just handhold one of them sony dvd camcorders and you shall appreciate the small footprint of this thing.
NOW, the ONLY reason I am giving a review here is cos of reading the other folks consistently talk about the "night" "indoor" quality of the camcorder. Ok, I do agree to a certain extent that the indoors/lowlight videos are grainy. But I ask you folks, in what MODE ? P, Night,Sunset ? I am prettysure that

Just bought the SD770 after returning the Sony Cybershot DSCW300 13.6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot. (See review there). The contrast with that camera made me appreciate the SD770 probably more than I normally would have. So this is a comparison.
. Much sharper lens.
. Images better looking at ISO 80-800, above that they are useless in both cameras.
. Canon images noisier at higher ISOs because of less aggressive noise reduction, but as a result they are crisper. Sony gives a mush wherever there is fine detail. You can simulate the Sony look by running the Canon images through a noise filtering program like Neat Image at a high filter setting.
. Canon is 10MP vs Sony's 13.6MP, but all the above hold true even with the Canon images ressed up to 13.6MP.
. Much smaller body, truly a shirt pocket camera, which is the primary reason for me for buying a P&S.
. Both have usable optical viewfinders. The centering accuracy of the SD770 seems to be even better than

this is a great tv. picture and sound exceeded my expectations. some earlier reviews complained about the sound but in my opinion it is very good. white glove delivery service is great. i ordered this tv may 25, 2008. may 26 was memorial day holiday but the tv shipped that day anyway. the delivery service called me the afternoon of may 28, only 2 days later and wanted to deliver the tv the next day. you can't expect any better service than that. i watched the delivery man unload the tv. it was strapped to the side of his box van so it couldn't move or bounce around. he unloaded it on to a 4 wheel dolly and wheeled it right up to my back door, unpacked it and connected it to make sure it was working properly. he even offered to help me put it in my entertainment center but i wasn't ready for that. after ordering the tv the price dropped and i was refunded $148.72 by amazon. this is a great company to deal with. do not be afraid to order this tv from amazon. i saved almost $800.00 from the

The product is excellent and the price is good compared to the rest of the market. All interactions with the seller were good. The men who delivered the product were lazy and impolite and did not live up to the agreement to set up the product or to take away the used carton (which I had received in writing). Finally they took away the carton after much goading from me. This information is provided so that the seller may do future business in this area (in terms of delivery and set up) with a different organization.

This camera is an excellent piece of equipment from Nikon. You must learn to use it before you critize or return it. It has a nice sharp focus. The streaks you see or read about in the samples or prior reviews are due to the user having the exposure compensation on a positive setting. This makes the picture much brighter than it needs to be. The compensation results in over exposed and streaky shots. Please note the situation you are in and beware; for example if you are in direct sunlight you would not need to use the exposure compensation. Camera is very intuitive and I would consider it user friendly. Just give yourself a chance and read the manual before you post negitive reviews. For the price you are getting a real decent camera. I am even pleased with the digital zoom which I used at an indoor concert. The VR realy works and helps you to keep you camera shake down to a minimun. Also try using the VIVID or More VIVID settings . I believe you will be pleased with the outcome. I owned

I have only had this TV for a few days, so this is not a complete review, but I wanted to warn others about some issues that they may find important.
Picture quality is great - I have not run a calibration or tested various known sources for difficult to reproduce scenes or motion. The blacks are so good that the image color looks over saturated at the factory default setting when placed next to a panel with lower contrast ratio. (It should be kept in mind that the eye has a logarithmic response to light, and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio may not be that much more than a 30,000:1 ratio.) In the store I was comparing this panel to a 46a550 and 46a530 all at their factory default settings. The 550's image was more natural looking at the factory default setting.
Watching SD analog content on digital TVs can be annoying with various artifacts visible in the conversion of the analog signal to the native digital of the TV. This TV does a very respectable job of this - with the SD images mostly

Wow. This is my first purchase of a flat screen tv and I am blown away! I did a lot of research on others and settled on this, and I'm very pleased.
First off, several have mentioned the red color around the edge... not to worry, its looks very, very nice. Samsung has done a great job of taking a every day product and turned it into a work of art.
The picture quality is excellent, there are plenty of dvi inputs; I have no problem hooking up my AppleTV, PS3 & Direct TV box.
I bought a few blue ray movies (play them in my PS3) and they are amazing! I cant imagine the quality getting better than blue-ray, but who knows. The PS3 games look equally amazing as well, if you play games you'll be blown away playing on this tv.
The only two things that I don't like about the tv are the remote. Its been mentioned here the remote is a little funky, and it is. They tried to implement a iPod style click wheel, but to be honest its pretty lame. The other (also mentioned here) is the white

This camera is amazing. You can simply move the card to your computer and voila, instant movies. The light weight is awesome. It can be held in one hand and operated te same. The controls are well placed at your fingertips. It has a quick on time and an easy mode. With the two 16 gig cards I bought, I can film all day. The battery gives you a long record time as well. I love my new camera. Now I'm planning a vacation.

Samsung LN46A750 46-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color
Without a question this is a great TV.
However a significant major design flaw is very distracting.
The edge is a 3/8" thick x 3" glass frame and light is transmitted from the inside out through the glass (edge piece). Imagine seeing an aura around the TV on the outside edge where there is clear 1/4" clear class bezel. I have proven this being the problem by masking the inside edge with black electrical tape, which blocks the light transmission.
I which I could attach some pictures. I placed a service call with Samsung and pictures were sent to them. There response was that this effect was by design. Indeed flawly designed. This effect is more pronounced at night or in a dark room, or when located in an entertainment center.

Look, I have had a lot of HDTV's and like other reviewers I veered away from the plasmas because of Burn-In concerns and the like. I have had this TV for about a month and have enjoyed nothing but pleasure from it. The blacks are some of the deepest I have ever witnessed on a TV. I think this TV could truly give the Pioneer Kuro a run for it's money. I looked at the Panny's too and I was unimpressed when I saw the 650 next to it.
If you are in the market for a TV that will be a centerpiece of your AV room and display a picture worthy of the HD signal with which you will power it then look no further. This TV is spectacular.

I bought this camcorder for my backpacking trip on Mt. Whitney. I figured since the manufacturer claimed their product was waterproof/dustproof/shockproof (surprised there was no lens cover), that this would be a good fit for the environment I would be placing the camcorder in. It is very easy to use and the menu was easily figured out. I did record while it snowed and it performed fine afterward. However, what I wasn't prepared for was the poor and low quality of the pictures and video that I took on this trip. I was severely disappointed and had to spend time on Photoshop to make the photos look decent. The videos also had a lot of contrast and the sound quality on the videos were fuzzy and muffled. I liked the look, weight, easily handling and use but that's about it. I'm returning the product.

Before I get into this review, I want to mention that this is my fourth Canon digital camera. They've all been great which is why I've been loyal to the brand. I bought this one because my husband wanted our Elph PowerShot 1000 so it gave me the excuse to upgrade to 10MP. I love the size and feel of the 770, the LCD is crisp and clear and it's totally easy to use. It also has an optical viewfinder which is great in really bright light situations. The pictures are fantastic and the Image Stabilization feature, which the 1000 didn't have, is awesome for those shots where you don't want to use a flash in low light situations. I'm also extremely impressed with the video quality, I just used this to create a bunch of five minute movies of martial arts students for study and the video looks great at 640x480 and even blown up on the computer screen. Even the audio is also fine (and I'm a professional musician so I have picky ears). I also love the rechargeable battery feature. I bought an extra
