A great way for the younger generation to learn about and appreciate Aerosmith. The video clips in between levels are a nice touch and a little something different from GH3. Nice graphics.
I also like the idea that the lyrics of the songs with suggestive lyrics are somewhat muted and more in the background, rather than loud and in your face, so that the entire family can play and enjoy the game. Not sure if this is an intentional feature, but it's much appreciated by moms like me.
If you are a GH3 fan, then you will love this version.

I was under the mistaken impression that I would be able to use this adapter to play my GH, GH2, and GH80's by using my PS2 GH guitar controller on my PS3...errrr...WRONG! Try as I might, it doesn't work that way.
Now, if you want to use your old PS2 guitar controller on your PS3 to play GH3...ding! YOU WIN! Works great for that! Can't complain there, except that I have some very nice and lovely wireless guitar controllers that work just fine! So, if only I'd have read the fine print, I suppose, that's the moral to the story.

I rented this game, because I loved the movie, so I gave the game a chance. And what do you know, the game turned out to be very entertaining. The game has good actions sequences, with more villians like the crocodiles, wolves, boars, and powerful gorillas. The storyline is similar to the film, but is slightly different as well.
The enviroments are beautiful! Better than I expected from this game title. The game also features some extras and the multi-player challenges as well. The final battle is with Tai Lung and it is the best battle in the entire game.
Even though the game was very good and it had some material that was not in the film, I still like the movie the best. But the game is also great in its own way! Hopefully we get three or more movie sequels and the animated series of Kung Fu Panda soon! I just can't get enough of Kung Fu Panda and its characters and its extremely entertaining story.
Maybe in the series (movie sequels or tv series), they explore the other characters

This game is based off of the movie "Kung Fu Panda" except it has a sort of alternate storyline to the mix. The Characters are all in there, but you don't really get to play as all of them. You spend most of your time playing as Po, but at some points you get to play as Shifu and some members of the Furious Five. For a short brief time, you fight as Tigress. You only get to steer Master Crane, and as for the rest of the Five, there's only a button pressing sequence for them, you don't get full control. Po, however, has some useful abilities that you will find helpful in certain situations. Shifu also has different abilities that are really fun to pull off. There are some parts in the game that I did find annoying...at certain points, whenever you punch with Po, he makes the same repeatetive action noise. Then there's the parts when you have to jump across lilly pads (same situation applies with the noise making)except if you miss the jump you have to restart at the last safe point. The

This headset for under 20 bucks is great.
Here's a couple of points to some of the bad things I've seen here..
1. It's not small. My head is 7 1/2 hatsize and that's pretty fair size. It adjusts bigger than I need.
2. The mic does only reach your mid cheek, but that's the way you want it. The days of needing the mic to reach around in front of your mouth are over. How do you people think blue tooth phones pick up your voice from up by your ear? LoL at folks.. technology people.. keep up.
3. It is plenty sturdy. It's not made of metal though. I've had mine for 5 months or so now and it's in the same shape as I bought it and that's with me and my 2 kids using it.
4. I play Burnout Paradise every night and my setup on the Ps3 is constantly among the best sounding. Period.
5. The mic again.. it doesn't touch your cheek unless you adjust it too. It's got a flex rod and can easily be bent anyway you want it. Away from your cheek or on it. lol again at this complaint.

Whatever they want to call it, PES, World Soccer, whatever, year in and year out Konami & Seabass make a killer true football game.
This is their hardest edition to date. Normally I start at the Normal Master League level & work up from there, but I am still sledding on Amateur & it is really going to take a while for me to move up. The AI is superb, just difficult enough to make it truly thrilling sometimes to score goals. What sets PES apart from its competitors is the difficult gameplay that can be broken down thru smarts, savviness, and timing (& sometimes a little luck.) It does not need flashy trick moves, & crazy multiple, simultaneous button mashing to get a great, honest result against a superior side.
Years from now young gamemakers will marvel at Seabass' amazing series of games for Konami.
I could care less about the licensing stuff. The funny names and odd kits add charm to the experience. True football fans know what the teams are, and who plays for them.

A few years ago, a little game called Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was released, and was a surprisingly great take on the Marvel character with free-roaming and destructive environments, plus the overall feeling gameplay-wise that you really were the Hulk. This new movie tie-in Incredible Hulk game from Sega seems to want to follow in the same footsteps, but alas, it is a disappointing, and quite frankly boring, next-gen smash-a-thon. Smashing up a pretty looking New York City is as fun as one would hope, and is by far the best aspect of the game to be sure. After that though, things begin to go downhill in terms of gameplay and overall presentation. Once you get bored with just causing destruction, the gameplay elements at their core just aren't that varied, and the boss fights are underwhelming as well. Graphically, the game looks halfway decent for a PS2 game (bot not as good as Ultimate Destruction did), but there are noticeable graphical glitches and occasional bugs that

I ordered this for my hubby for Fathers Day, he has never played any of the Metal Gear games before. I had previously owned the first and second in the series, but they had long since been "borrowed" and not returned. Since we ordered the PS3 Metal Gear Solid Pack I decided this would be a good buy.
First of all, the games come in a small cardboard case to hold the 3 ps2 game cases. Even though MS1 is a PS1 game, it is in a PS2 style case so that they can all stay together in the box. This means that the artwork is different than on the originals of each of these games. I personally don't care but just in case you do - now you've been told.
Each game comes with it's own manual as well as the ingame help we are all used to for the first couple of scenes. This is an excellent collection for the price, and I would highly advise the purchase if you like this type of game.
The only negatives I have are
1) the game controls take a while to get used to
2) The PS1 game of MGS1 will NOT

crappy roster, slow loading times, dumb angles in the story mode, terrible move controls, its almost impossible to do a reversal cause the opportunity flashes for half a second and in video game time it just doesn't work, it takes a tremendous effort to take the belt off the hook in the ladder match which makes it very frustrating, its hard to make tags, commentary gets old quickly...i could go on....they should make a game where the WWE world is free roaming and you choose your allies, enemies, your angles, etc...and then the computer puts their input based on your choices...I hate being forced to fight people when I don't want to and I HATED that Rowdy Piper came back and turned on me as a tag team partner - what purpose does that hold in 2008 - if I am Triple H why is Piper beating my a** and making me look like a loser??? maybe Kamala can come back too and feud with triple h in the next version, that would be just as smart...

Before I go on, I would like to say that this review is for the Playstation TWO - and it is still awesome!
It has what I and many people want in a videogame...a combination of Rampage, the recent Spider-man games, GTA (but better than GTA), and the Hulk. And that's pretty much all I want. And it delivered.
At first, I was hesistent to pick up this title because it's for an old-gen system, but the graphics are still solid and you don't really care about the graphics anyways once you start having fun as the Hulk.
A small disparity in graphics and one or two less skins/characters make this is much more worthwhile purchase than the PS3/XBOX360 versions, considering that they are like $30 more.
I wasn't even a Hulk fan before this game (I mean, a character like this....why would I want to READ about it, you know?), but this game has made me a believer and has made plenty references to the comics (I know the references from the several other Marvel comics I've read).

The left and right scroll built into the scroll wheel makes it close to impossible to click the scroll wheel button. I tried reassigning the left and right scroll buttons to server as the middle click button (a cheesy fix, but something i was willing to live with), but Logitech does NOT allow these buttons to have this particular functionality. I can reassign the buttoms to just about any other functionality, except the one I actually want. I emailed Logitech, and they said the request would be sent on to the appropriate team. I'm not keeping my fingers crossed. They didn't sound like it would be addresed any time soon.
The keyboard works well. I had the previous model that was incompatible with Windows Vista. That was the only reason I upgraded =(
I'm starting to get annoyed with Logitech

No words can really explain exactly how this game plays. I was turned off by many gaming websites describing this as a dating sim crossed with a traditional dungeon crawler... this description is selling the game infinitely short! Here we see a game where the whole is truly much greater than the sum of its parts. The story is engaging - the characters are believable (or as believable as any crazy Japanese RPG on the market) - and the whole package comes together spectacularly. I have had the game only two days and have already sunk 8-ish hours into it... a lot for me.
The challenge level is acceptable so far - I just unlocked the second teer of the main dungeon and I have not died or "game-overed" yet. For those of you who like aggravatingly difficult RPGs... FES has a "Hard" mode which you can play... although in this mode, I fear gameplay may truly crawl.
See... the one tiny problem so far is that the game just moves too slowly... and I'm playing on easy! Perhaps if there were

I have been using my controller for a little over a week. It's nice to have a well-made cordless controller for the PS2 and not have to worry about wrapping extension cords just to reach a couch!.
Overall I am pretty much without complaint. I have never had a single lost signal or any interference or lag. This controller does pretty much what you would expect it to do.
Cons:
1) Batteries. - This controller doesn't seem to play very nice with rechargeable batteries. I was only able to get about 3-4 hours of use out of it on a fresh recharge of 2500mAh AAs before the low battery light began to blink and all vibration was forcefully disabled. I know the batteries still have alot of life in them, but I guess since rechargeable batteries only hit about 1.25v instead of the full 1.5v of a retail battery, the controller thinks them near empty all the time.
2) Buttons. I don't particularly like the D-Pad. It feels like a cheap piece of plastic suspended over a stick. I never feel like I have

After purchasing this wheel, I don't know why it gets so many overwhelmingly good reviews. The G25 is poorly constructed, has some design issues and didn't meet my expectations.
The wheel itself consists of a plastic housing with a metal wheel. This sounds nice until you realize that the wheel and paddles are just stainless steel stampings with unfinished edges. The center button on the wheel fell off when I removed the protective film. The "leather" doesn't feel like the real thing and the whole wheel is thin and hard. There are only two buttons on the wheel, meaning you have to reach over to the shifter to navigate your way through the game menus. The real issue with the wheel itself is the gear mechanism used for the force feedback. You can really feel the notches as the wheel rotates, which does NOT emulate a real steering feel. Logitech should have used a finer pitch gear for smoother movement (or used a belt drive like Fanatec.)

My son loves this game and plays it more than any other. I rate it a 5 for fun but a one overall as it is expensive and is not made very well. The bad thing about this drum set is the foot pedal. It is cheap and not very sturdy. As a matter of fact the drum set that I just purchased less than a month ago already has a broken foot pedal. This is the second broken foot pedal for us in a three month period . Contacting the mfg is difficult and getting it replaced is difficult. They really need to make a better pedal and also should make it so that the pedal can be purchased as a separate component with buying a complete new drum set. Look on the Internet under "rock band drum pedal" and see how many people have had the same problem with breakage.

I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter, as she wanted a "real" racing wheel with pedals for the Wii. It was easy to set up (just plug it in) and, it worked right away. After launching Mario Kart Wii with the wii remote, the Thrustmaster wheel functions like an additional wii remote for choosing characters and races. The pedals work for acceleration and braking, and, I find that the racing wheel has a nice feel to it. It can be set to one of two sensitivity settings.
I also found a sheet showing the button presets for Mario Kart on the Thrustmater support website. For instance, the brake pedal also functions as a drift button. My daughter loves it. She races with my 14 year old son, who uses the Wii wheel that came with the game. But they both prefer using the Thrustmaster racing wheel, as it is easier to use and more "fun," than the standard wii wheel.
NOTE: Thrustmaster Technical Support has informed me that Mario Kart Wii is the ONLY Wii game that supports this racing

I waited ten (10) years to upgrade from my PS-one to a PS2. I thought about the PS3, but could not justify the added expense. The PS2 has great graphics and reaction. I bought this just to play God of War (which is awesome). This system is a great deal for only $125. Throw in a $25 Sony memory card and you are in business. The games are cheap and there a ton of them available. It also has playback capability, which the PS3 does not, unless you were able to get one of the 60GB models which are now no longer available. This would still be great for kids who are cool enough to be able to live without the latest and most expensive model. Maybe in 10 years I'll look to upgrade to the PS3.

I have owned Viewtiful Joe ever since it first came out. I had it for Gamecube and still own it for PS2. I will admit the Gamecube version was slightly better concerning the controls. Still this is an excellent game to try out and even after completing it. There is still lots of replay value. VJ is a one player side scrolling game with very low animated violence. I don't believe there is anything here that can be considered obscene for children.
The game begins when the main character Joe is in the theatre with his girlfriend Silvia. She is then snatched into the movie and Joe attempts to rescue her. He's given the powers of the lead hero to save his girl.
This is still an ordinary side scroller with a really good twist. It borrows an element from Max Payne and takes it to a whole new level. Joe's powers allows you to defeat his enemies by using the movies slow motion, fast forward, and close up features to deal some serious damage. The action is over the top and sometimes hilarious.

I loved the whole theme of the game. At the start, the game was incredibly fun, but after about 8 hours or so started becoming very repetitive since all you really do is play through the same dungeon over and over. The dungeons are randomly generated the way Diablo I & II dungeons are. Loved the gameplay, sort of didnt like the fact that you had to "start over" at certain points, but I got over that bit. Overall, I would say I initially enjoyed playing it, but I got bored halfway through.

The Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection is a great way to play all that has come before the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4 is released.
I have heard alot of griping because the second disc from Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence is NOT included. Though I was a bit peeved about this at first, I do own an original copy of Subsistence which included the original versions of Metal Gear 1 and 2 from the Japanese MSX and I can understand Konami's decision in this regard.
The main draw of the 2nd disc of Persistence was Metal Gear Online. The serves have long been shut down and it would be pointless to release a game you can't even play any longer.
I've also heard much griping about Metal Gear Solid (1) being on two CD-ROM discs instead of a DVD-ROM. Use some logic here folks: Konami is giving you Three games for under $30. The original Metal Gear Solid is quite expensive and/or hard to find anymore. Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance is rather pricey for the PS2 version (the inferior
