What you see pictured here on amazon is NOT what you'll get if you buy this product. I've not been able to track down who actually manufactures the tv mount pictured on the page, but it is definitely NOT the Premier SUT-3760 that's shown. If you want to see what you'll really get, google the Premier Mounts web page. It looks nothing like what's shown on amazon. That was my first suprise/disappointment. I guess the other is that I purchased the mount thru Real Home Theaters who I must say had "a" mount sent to me within a very short time at a great price--don't even think about wasting your money on a mount directly from the big box stores. They must make a killing on mark up. It is similar to what I found on the actual Premier Mounts web site, but not exact. It came in a plain white fedex box with no typical product box at all--there was no reference to the manufacturer. The instructions are fairly clear, but again without a mention of the manufacturer or product number anywhere

This product was the biggest disappointment of all of my online purchases! The product description states the following: Virtual Surround. This would leave any sane individual (who would think to ask in the first place?), that a TV that you paid ovef $1200 for would come with sound. Surprise, this one does not!
Speakers if you want them (image watching TV with the mute button on ALL THE TIME!!!) are available at an additional cost.

This is a well built mount. It has heavy gauge steel that makes me feel secure in mounting my 52" lcd on the wall. The tilt function is smooth and does not allow the tv to drop down uncontrollably when loosening the adjusting knobs.
I looked for this mount at about 7-10 different stores both online & retail. Overstock.com saved me alot of money on this item.

WARNING.....this is not a television, in that it does not receive broadcast television transmissions. In order to do so, you have to purchase and install an additional module. Also, be advised that it does not come with internal speakers nor a stand. Speakers, several hundred dollars? The stand, FWD-42PX2/B, is another $200 or so. IT IS A DISPLAY, NOT A TELEVISION.

I compared many stands before buying this one. I live close to a major earthquake fault, so who knows if anything would be strong or stable enough in the end. With that said it takes a lot of effort to move this an inch now that the 80lb TV and 35lb receiver are mounted on the 105lb stand. I have the extra shelf too, so with the center channel speaker and the DVD player and cable box I've probably got somewhere near 250lbs sitting there and it is solid as a rock. This is especially good news for the center channel speaker and the TV, both of which work better when not vibrating.
There's a comment elsewhere that the finish is fragile and I'm afraid that is exactly right, they should consider a tougher coating on the base, the ding where I dropped a bolt is under the receiver now, so it doesn't make any difference, but I know it's there and even my cheap coffee table wouldn't have been damaged by that.
I noticed someone had trouble with delivery, I use Amazon Prime, so the box turned up

MOUNT WAS JUST WHAT WE WERE NEEDING, AS FAR AS THE TILT AND ABILITY TO MOVE FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND BACK AGAINST WALL IF NEEDED. DID NOT TAKE LONG FOR MY HUSBAND WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR KIDS AND MYSELF TO HANG HIS TV.

Bought two of these--one for a 32" LCD and the other for a 50" plasma. Very easy to install and very sturdy!! Mount sticks out a little on the 32" so it is a little large for this size LCD--not an issue for me. Tilt mount operates smoothly. Quick shipment from Overstock without any problems. Will definitely shop here again and will use this mount again if I can talk the wife into a second 50" plasma ;-)

I bought this TV as a Christmas present for my son not realizing Sony hadn't made a plasma set for three years. Nowhere in the blurb did it say this was a discontinued model. The set doesn't have a foot and they don't make brackets for this set, so he hasn't been able to even try it out yet. I was disappointed in the lack of information on this product. I only hope the set works.

I bought this tv not knowing it was a professional model, it did not come with a base. It did not say that in the blurb about the product. It's been a nightmare trying to find a base for this tv. Well, I contacted Sony and I finally found one for $285, hopefully it will not be a humungus metal stand for a boardroom.

Very easy to install and use. Instructions were simple and clear. You might need an extra set of hands while mounting the bracket - - my helper was my 8 year old son, and things turned out just fine. Of course, I needed an adult to help lift the television though. The tilt feature is nice in avoiding glare on the screen from overhead lights.

JT's comments as well as many who rate this item highly I must say I agree.
I DID run into several installation problems that related to a tool missing from the box: A Hex wrench. The one they included was not needed, but for the pivots on the swing arms. The one NEEDED, was not included and made the work a bit confusing. As well, as the directions made ZERO mention of using that hex wrench. Ok here is the story.
There are four short, and two long [ 4" ] vice bars on the back...You are supposed to thread a screw into the four short ones, then loosen them then tighten them..BUT they don't tell you this until the end. The wrench I needed to do such wasn't included. Had devil of a time finding the correct size hex. And I have almost every one on hand....Taped the one I used to the back of the unit for later use...that bad.
If you don't loosen these vices first, you'll have a tough time puting the screws through them...
If no hex, you cannot loosen and tighten them to the cross-bars

I've had this stand for ~4 years and I've been very happy with it. I have a very heavy 35" CRT on it and it holds up very well. Very sturdy. Aside from that, it looks great and assembly was easy.
I was going to give this stand a 4 star rating, because the cord management system is a little difficult to use, but I gave it 5 stars because some other moron gave it a 1 star rating because the seller screwed up his order.... IDIOT.
Hope this was helpful,
Josh

I am very happy with the flatscreen mount, my only complaint is I had to purchase longer bolts to use the spacers with my 50 inch panasonic tv. Becasue the TV had a bump out at the bottom and a 2 inch clearance at the top, I was forced to use both spacers with longer bolts than were suppplied. With the TV plug location, I also had to relocate an outlet above the bracket as opposed to directly below it. Overall I am very satisfied with the product so far and feel it provides a very secure mount for my television.

My husband and I have bought many items on Amazon however I was so suprised when I found this wall mount for $75.00 I bought one at a store and I paid twice as much and it wasn't even near as nice!!! I Ordered this one and took the other one back and I got this one in 2 days!!! It was very easy to but on the wall and even easiter to put the 47" TV on it.

This product indicated that it was for plasma TV's up to 60 inches. It was no larger than other mounts that were far less expensive. I had to take it to a weld shop and have them expand the mount by 6 inches for my 50 inch TV.

I've had this Sanus stand for about two weeks now and concur with most of the previous reviews. It comes in a huge, extremely heavy box but assembly is a simple affair, since Sanus does a first-rate job of packing and labeling all the parts and explaining the assembly in a clear manner in its instructions. Two plastic washers were missing from my box, but an email to Sanus had them in my mailbox within a couple of days. Assembly is a one-person job, but mounting the flat panel tv itself is a two-person job. Be aware that the base is EXTREMELY glossy/shiny, so dust and animal fur show up vividly against it: this isn't a low maintenance stand, but if you want to achieve the look of wall-mounting your flat panel tv without actually drilling a mount into your wall, this is a great option. I was a little wary about putting heavy components on the glass shelves, but they seem solid and sturdy. Don't know why Sanus felt compelled to paint the surface of the center aluminum tube a sparkly silver

If this is the type of stand you need, buy it. I have pets so this was my best option.Couldn't believe the size of the box. Thought maybe a coffin was shipped by mistake. Don't worry about possible broken pieces as this was the Best wrapped package I ever received. My fear was that if there were any problems with the product,I would never be able to repackage it. Almost had a coronary attack when the tube screws didn't fit the base until I reversed the tube (different size screws). Putting the big tube on the sofa while you attach the base should be helpful. After tube is attached,it's a breeze. Put a towel etc. around the base til the assembly is complete to avoid damage. When your finished you will have a great TV stand. My highest rating. Lawrence

I've been using Sanus almost exclusively for 3 years now for the projects I'm working on. It's the most immitated design to date in the world of wall mounting for flat panels and yet other brands got the awards, go figure.
Anyway their tilting bracket is the one I used the most since connecting the panel is a breeze and with the extra clearance in the back I'm able to hide a vertical dvd player and Directv tuner. (clean look). Their gravity lock tilt (patented) is awesome. Tilt can be achived with two fingers without going behind the tv to undo the screws.
Go Sanus.

This product is good for the price but it is a little bulky! The tv does not flush too close to the wall. Therefore, the hardware is somewhat apprarent.
