This is a very sturdy mount and installation was pretty easy - I would recommend a helper to hold it, because it's pretty heavy. Unfortunately, the depth of the product means that your TV will sit more than 4+ inches off the wall, despite the fact that the description says only 2.5. If you have to use the larger mounting brackets, there's a 6 inch gap between the TV and the wall.
I was looking for a mount that would be somewhat close to the wall and still swivel out for viewing in a different part of the

I really like this TV mount. After a couple of problems with understanding all the pieces I needed to get to make it work, it's up and working well. The "Mount Finder" on most sites did not indicate that I also needed the PLP-V400 adapter for my specific TV (VESA 200x200). I found the technical support at Peerless excellent and responsive. I've been using this for a month or so, and it works well, is easy to reposition the TV, and keeps the cables out of the way. My only issue, and it's a minor nit, is that it doesn't keep the TV perfectly level throughout its whole range of positioning (not perfect means that the level bubble touches one of the lines instead of remaining dead center, or about 1/4" out of level at the extremes of positioning for a 37" LCD TV). But, I would imagine that would be hard for any tilt/swivel mount to do. I'm very happy and would buy this again.
