SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
Wow
Better and cheaper than iPod, or at least thats what my friends told me. This MP3 Player has an excellent battery life, and an expandable memory slot for microSD cards. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player-ZEN STONE PLUS 2GB W/ SPEAKER PERPPINK BOOMBOX MP3 PLAYER
Creative Zen Stone Plus 2 GB MP3 Player with Built-in Speaker and Clip (Dark Blue)

This is a tiny MP3 player (approximately 1" x 2")that comes with USB cable, earphones, skin and clip. This little MP3 player has built in speakers, is 2 GB, holds up to 500 songs, has an FM radio with 32 preset stations and a voice recorder. The speaker is fine but can have a bit of a "tinny" sound. It is easy to use and great for children as it is VERY light, small and can be dropped without breaking as it is so light. The battery can either be charged using your computer with the USB cable included or you can purchase a wall or car charger separately. My only complaint is that I paid $20 more for it on Amazon that I did for a second one I bought on eBay! My fault for not comparing prices!

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player-ZEN STONE PLUS 2GB W/ SPEAKER PERPPINK BOOMBOX MP3 PLAYER
I purchased this mp3 for my wife and she loves it. The internal speaker is very useful for use at her job and she uses it. The sound is a little, tinny, but it's better than always HAVING to use ear buds. I've recommended it friends and family.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
At the risk of repeating everyone else's reviews here, let me just say :

This is a sweet MP3 player! And I have had several over the years.

1. Windows XP recognized it immediately as a Sansa Fuze 2GB player when I plugged it into the USB port. No proprietary software is required... just plug it in and get started.

2. Use plain ol' Windows Media Player to rip your favorite songs from audio CDs and create WMP playlists, then transfer the playlists (complete with album art, even!) to the Sansa Fuze. Believe me, they could NOT have made this any easier.

3. I filled up just over 1GB of my Sansa with 88 songs each sampled at a 320 Kbps rate. And thanks to the easy navigation menus, I can find any of those songs within seconds.

I have not yet tried it's video capabilities, but I don't care about that anyway. When I'm working out at the gym, all I want is my music... and this thing as an MP3 music player is worth the price alone.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
I'm really not much of a music person, and put off getting an mp3 player until a recent vacation. My last portable music device is the Walkman, so bear with me. I was really impressed with this mp3 player, and thought it was definitely a great buy (especially comparing to Apple products). I also love that I can just drag MP3 files off my computer without having to use a proprietary format or a particular program in which to organize my MP3 files. It was very simple to just drag to the correct folder (music for most) and I was good to go. Vista recognized it as an MP3 player and allowed me to just open folders. There is a music organization program that came with it, but I just ignored that for now.

I did drag a couple of stories and put them in the Audiobook folder, as well as a few podcasts which have their own folder as well.

I honestly didn't listen to it a ton, but I was impressed with the battery life, and I didn't have to use my USB power adapter that I picked up just in

Creative Zen Mozaic 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-ZEN MOZAIC 2GB PINK PERP
I was immediately taken aback by this player. Its design took some time to get used to, but after seeing it up close and getting used to its controls, i feel like it is a good choice for any casual music listener.

The Good: 1. I like the design of it. Something new is always good for a market that has nothing different to give these days. 2. The sound quality is excellent. 3. The battery life is Amazing! I clocked in at 41.3 hours with all 128kbps songs and the screen off thanks to the lock. i havent done test with 192kbps songs yet, but i dont think it really matters too much. 4. Navigation is another plus. not just the default layout, but the customizability of it. you can move the menus around, add, delete, and set a certain item to the hotkey. this gave me the feeling that it was actually "My" mp3 player, unlike the Sansa, Ipod, and Zune mp3 players that do not allow any modification of the default layout.

The Bad: 1. Slow buttons. i noticed that when i scroll through the menus,

Archos 105 2GB Digital Multimedia Device
I was mainly interested in the video playback features of this unit. I did listen briefly to the sample MP3s that came on the device, and they sounded fine to me. File transfer and charging are via a 5-pin mini-USB connector. Under Windows, you access the device through Explorer under the path My Computer\a105\Internal Storage.

While you can directly place music and photo files through Explorer, video files must be converted and transferred using Windows Media Player. Consequently the Archos 105 requires video files in windows media (WMV) format. The resultant file that resides on the device is about 75 MB per hour, which means you should be able to cram 20-25 hours of video on the 2GB of internal flash (non-expandable). In the settings, you can choose for a video to playback once and stop, or to loop. In my test it played video for about 4.5 hours on a single charge. While the screen is small (160 x 128 pixels), it's good enough to watch tv shows on. You can fast forward and

Coby Electronics MP-705 2GB Flash Portable Media Player - Audio Player, Video Player, Photo Viewer, FM Tuner - 2 Active Matrix TFT Color LCD - 2GB Flash Memory - Blue
I took it out of the box and in no time at all I had all of my music loaded and was ready go. It came with the battery at half charge and took very little time to fully charge after that. If the battery is not charged, you should charge it as recommended. It is very easy to navigate through the menus and set up. Excellent for the price.

Sony ICD-UX80 2GB USB Digital Voice Recorder
I practice law and had tried digital recording with the older Olympus DSS 30. I liked digital but it really was not versatile enough (format, etc). I relied mainly on mini-cassette dictation but needed a better system without spending 300-400 + on a system. I also use "Dragon Naturally Speaking" and after some research decided to try the Sony UX 70 (a lighter version of the UX 80). What I discovered was that MP3 based dictation answered all of my needs - dictation, conference recording, hearing recording (including hearings where a witness was testifying over a speakerphone). The MP3 format is universal. I also purchased the Sony foot pedal with digital voice editor software. I can send this stuff by e-mail or by "CITRIX" based file transfer programs ([...]). I can also use the recorder as a "flash drive" and transport word, excel, etc. Also photos and anything else you would put on a flash drive. The small speaker on the recorder is not really loud but I assume that it is meant

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
The SanDisk Fuze is a great MP3 player. The 2GB Fuze costs half the price of an iPod and has many more features and is easier to use. The Fuze has a micro-SD slot so it's expandable for more music, videos, pictures, etc. The Fuze has a digital FM radio so you can catch up on news, sports scores, and listen to radio music as well. The Fuze also has a voice recorder with built-in microphone so you just talk into the machine and verbally record memos. But the best feature...and this is what sold me on the Fuze... is that works with the ubiquitous Windows Media software found on most PCs. You simply click and drag your music from your computer's library into the Fuze file, which I find much easier than Apple's complex and propriety music file system. The iPod is an icon, and there are a zillion accessories for it, but it doesn't hold a candle to the SanDisk Fuze. Don't be a robot and follow the crowd, break yourself free and go for the Fuze. SanDisk simply makes a better MP3 player

Sony ICD-UX80 2GB USB Digital Voice Recorder
wanted stereo MP3 recorder for recording live music and recording my own practice music when I am playing myself. It records very well with internal microphones. Recording is slightly better for low frequencies if I record with external stereo microphone SONY ECM-DS30P ($49.99). It records even better if you directly feed audio in to microphone input and selecting it as "LINE IN" using Audio Line Out of other system.
I am all happy with this device. I purchased it from "SONY STYLE" store for $99.97. I was surprised by this price as compared to what I have seen on the Internet. I purchased two of the ICD-UX80. One to give as a gift to a music lover friend of mine. Store salesman told me that this product is being obsoleted, anything in the store with the price ending with xx.X7 is obsoleted. If the price ends with xx.x9 then it is a current production item. Don't be fooled by the sticker price on the box. Ask salesman to check the price on the cash register using barcode. Anyway I wanted

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
I've had the Fuze for about a month and am quite happy with it. It's easy to navigate, looks good, good sound. I had the small sansa M250 before and this is FAR superior.

I found it a bit weak in the bass and am learning how to adjust the settings. This may be more my weakness than the Fuze's.

The one thing that really bothers me is the on/off switch. I have a difficult time making it slide to especially turn it off, since it has to be held up for a second or two. This has become even more difficult after putting it in the silicone skin. The skin is quite thick and it's almost impossible to get at the little on/off slider on the side of the Fuze. I'll upload a photo of this to help explain.

Otherwise, I'm quite happy with the Fuze. I'll soon be taking a trip abroad and will be better able to judge this device after the trip.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
I did a lot of research before purchasing the Fuze. My research led me to narrow my choice to two options. One being the Fuze, the other being the IPod Nano. In the end I bought both units. The Fuze I paid cash for from Amazon, the Ipod I redeemed credit card points to obtain.
After having both for about a month now I don't understand why anyone would buy an Ipod. Other than the beautifully designed packaging and product it is the most difficult proprietary product out there. You have to use Itunes to register the unit and load music. In my case downloading Itunes messes with my Windows Media Player which I use as a player linked to a hard drive which is my in home music server. In order to fix the software conflicts between Itunes and Windows Media I had to resort to uninstalling Itunes which by it self did not solve the problem. Only after defragementing my hard drive did the problem go away.
The Sansa Fuze was so simple to load with music I was amazed. Simplily plug it in and drag

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player-ZEN STONE PLUS 2GB W/ SPEAKER PERPDARK BLUE BOOMBOX MP3 PLA
This delivers on everything I was looking for in a small MP3 player. It's tiny, but the LCD screen and even the built-in speaker are more than sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The drag and drop software included couldn't be easier to use, and is included in the player, so you don't have to pop in a separate CD to set up. It comes with a silicon cover with a handy hook that you can easily snap on to your shirt or pocket, and you're ready to go.

Sony ICD-UX80 2GB USB Digital Voice Recorder
I purchased the Sony ICDUX80 Digital Voice Recorder mainly to do voice-over work for the videos I make for YouTube. My computer's built-in mic pics up the noise from the on-board fan, etc. so I decided to get a compact voice recorder.

The SONY was pretty much what I was looking for as far as features and price... plus I have always had great success with SONY equipment. Here are some of mike Pros & Cons:

PROS: Small, compact and easy to carry in a shirt pocket. Good Amazon price. Stereo mp3 files. USB direct plug to go into my Mac. Lots of drive space for the files. Easy to read menus.

CONS: Small, compact size.... I have fairly large hands and it is sometimes clumsy to navigate the menus with such small buttons. Audio quality was not quite what I expected -- even in the highest recording quality. There is a fair amount of "hiss".... something I would expect from an analogue voice recorder... but from a digital one? Also if you speak too closely to the mic, you will get "pop" -- when

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player-ZEN STONE PLUS 2GB W/ SPEAKER PERPPINK BOOMBOX MP3 PLAYER
This is a great, small mp3 player. I was looking at it because a friend has an iPod Shuffle, and this was close in size. I'm not fond of iTunes, so I was looking for a non-Apple alternative. My friend now likes my mp3 player better then hers.

I really like the speaker function, as I don't have a stereo hook-up for the two rooms I use the most to listen to music: the kitchen and the bathroom. I like the fact that you can create folders and sub folders to organize your music however you want. To my knowledge, this device doesn't support playlists like other, larger/more expensive players, but that's fine by me I just have music organized by mood, set it to shuffle folder, and then let it play. (Although I know someone who said he was able to SYNC it with Windows Media Player.)

It uses an internal-chargable battery, and only comes with a cable to charge it via USB port, so you'll have to buy an AC wall plug-charger if you won't be hooking it to your computer often. I've never had

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB Flash Portable Media Player-2GB SANSA FUZE MP3 PLAYER BLACKPERPDIGITAL FM RADIO VOICE RE
The san disk fuze 2gb player is the best player i have owned. I had many mp3 players including an ipod nano. Some were very simple and others had all the bells and whistles, but this one is my best buy yet. Very good sound quality and video quality. I been look for a multimedia player but didn't want to shell out money for an expensive player like the new nano. And I didn't want one that was going to break or not be to do what i wanted even if the price was reasonable. This one was exactly what i was looking for and the price was very reasonable. I especially liked that memory can be expanded up to 10 gb with 8 gb micro sd card. I enjoy my player and hope to get many years of use from it. I highly recommend it whether the 2, 4 or 8 gb fuze.

Apple iPod shuffle, 2GB - Silver - MB518LL/A
I didn't buy this but got it free with a class. I looked at it awhile and thought about selling it on Ebay and then decided to open it. I mean, I have two 2 gig mp3 players, an 8 gig, a 1 gig, plus an old old 15 gig original IPOD. So I need another one like I need another remote control for something.

First of all, before the kudos, I will never buy anything ever again made by the Apple Corporation if I can get out of it. They are an elitist, over-rated, snotty company that makes nice-looking stuff that is ridiculously over priced on the romance of first release....(Um, did you buy one of the first IPhones? Did you wait in line and pay full price? You disagree with me?)

I plugged this little purple square IPOD into my aluminum G4, and guess what? It won't work with a 2000 dollar aluminum G4 laptop unless I

1) Upgrade my memory ($300)
2)Upgrade my X operating system ($149)

Total Cost to plug in a free IPOD Shuffle into a 2002 G4 Powerbook: $449.00

So in order to get my cute
