Kodak EASYSHARE V1073 10 Megapixel Digital Camera - Black
In a few words, this is THE BEST digital camera I have ever used/owned. In the time we have owned the camera, the pictures, video, and ease of use have been incredible. It is really easy to use, has many features which make it VERY simple to use - which is what a point and shoot camera should be. I've used an SLR, but needed a simple camera to just take great shots w/o effort. It only has three buttons - one of which is an info button - providing answers to questions about whatever is on the current screen. I didn't buy it for the touch screen, but it is great for flipping through photos for the one you want.

If your comparing with a Canon you should check the Kodak V1073 out first. I can't really speak for other Kodak cameras. I tried using one other Kodak model, and it seemed study, yet compared about the same as the other digital cameras around. The V1073 seems to be an (successful) experiment in breaking away from the typical Kodak camera, so I would limit my recommendation

Sylvania LC195SL8 19 LCD TV - 19 - ATSC, NTSC - 16:9 - 1440 x 900 - HDTV
If you're looking for a state of the art LCD with all the bells and whistles, then this TV is not for you. But, if you're looking for an inexpensive, small TV for a spare room, kitchen, or other such application, this is well worth a serious look.

I bought this for my Mom to replace an aging TV in her kitchen. Have been very pleased with it - excellent picture, and a snap to set up. The remote is uncomplicated, which is a big plus for Mom since she basically uses just channel up/down and volume. The stand is nice and sturdy, and tilts backwards (does not swivel side to side, however). A good viewing angle and a non-glare screen round out the major pluses.

As you would expect at this price, you don't get a lot of advanced controls. There is a color temperature setting, but it's very basic (three modes). The sound is OK and on a par with what you get from most small sets - it's clear, but light on the bass, and just standard stereo (no surround sound). But, I was looking for uncomplicated,

Pentax K20D 14.6 Megapixel SLR Digital Camera Body
I've been a photographer for twenty-five years or so, and eight years of that I was a pro. I've owned Hasselblads and Canons and Nikons and Linhofs. I've owned pentax in the past and loved them. This camera continues the tradition, offering more for your money - more quality than comparably priced cameras, more pixels, more features - you name it. It's priced like an enthusiast camera with enough "pro" features to deserve the appellation. It's no EOS 1Ds MKIII, but the full size image is breathtaking. There's resolution to spare, and the shake reduction works miracles for me. I have a handheld image shot at 1/4 sec that's sharp at 100% crop!

And the ease with which you can use the old lenses is just ridiculous. Throw even an old Pentax-M lens on it, set the camera to manual, set your aperture, touch the "Green Button", and the camera sets the programmed exposure - you can adjust from there to your heart's content. You can even specify the kind of program used by the green button - optimized

Garmin nuvi 760 Automobile Portable GPS-Garmin nuvi 760 Automobile Portable GPS
I have just moved to a new city and this unit has been invaluable. Having it speak the names of the streets is a very worthwhile plus. The maps seem to be up to date in urban areas although there are some gaps in eastern Canada. Even in these cases it "does its best" which is pretty good. I found the "find lodging" function useful while travelling but using the unit to play music through the car stereo can present a problem since it is often difficult to find sustained "blank space" on the FM dial especially while travelling any distance as the nuvi is "stepped on" by local stations.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I've had this tv for 30 days now and I am so happy with it. I wanted to allow time for any problems to surface such as the auto-off problem that I had read about in earlier reviews. Samsung must have done the firmware fix at the factory or I was just lucky. My experience with this purchase from Amazon was totally positive in every aspect.

This was my first major online purchase so I was a bit nervous. I had been researching and comparing Samsung, Toshiba, Sony and Sharp 52" LCD HDTV's for the past 6 months. Comparing price and features the Samsung LN52A650 is certainly the one with the most bang for your buck. With Amazon's price plus free shipping and zero tax none of the local big stores could come close. And I had been watching the sales. We're not rich so when we make a major purchase it has to be right.

The TV was delivered exactly one week from the day I placed the order. Eagle called the day before to give us a delivery timeframe and they were on time. We live way out

Samsung 52" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
We purchased this TV for lounge area in MBR. We agonized over 46" versus 52" and are extremely happy that we opted for the 52". The picture is wonderful and the swivel base allows us to angle TV to either sitting area or bed. Very happy that we opted for the matte screen rather than the polished screen on the 650 and 750 as our room is very bright. We paid $1809 which was a very fair and competitive price at time we ordered and received $100 credit when the price dropped four weeks later (within Amazon's 30 day price protection window). We are in remote area of NM yet the set was delivered and setup in just 4 days.

Kodak EASYSHARE SV1011 10" Digital Picture Frame
Power supply is 110V only, so don't go buying this for any friends in Europe or the rest of the world. It is also pretty difficult to find a 12V 2A power supply to replace the one provided.
Other than that it does what it says on the tin.

Panasonic DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP 10xOp Zoom Digital Camera-Panasonic DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP 10xOp Zoom Digital Camera
I own the 1st gen canon digital rebel DSLR, and these pictures seem sharper, and the camera does a much better job of exposing the scenes. It does a reasonable job at higher ISO levels, but not as good as the DSLR, but I didnt expect it to be. I tried to lighten my load last year, and bought a Kodak, but it was not nearly good as my old DSLR, so the DSLR was still the preferred camera. However I think my second attempt I've got it right. The TZ5 eliminates the need for me to carry a large DSLR with 2 heavy lenses and a video camera. The TZ5 is now my camera of choice and has replaced all that. I'm not a pro, just want some good quality images and videos of my family.

For its size, the Camera is heavier than expected, but not too heavy. It a good heft, and helps with stability. It feels like its made well, and not the plastic toy feel that many cameras I tested had.

The video was just as important to me, and the quality on these videos are great. Not as good as my video camera as they

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Samsung LN52A750 52-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of ColorThis is without a doubt the Best available. Ordered June 25 and amazon said it would arrive July 7th. TV actually arrived on the 3rd and was installed same day. We have installed the set in a room with six bright windows facing the set.We could not ask for better picture quality. Reflections are not a issue. Nor is the "halo" effect some have refered to. Between the product and Amazon we could not be any happier with our purchase.

Olympus Stylus 10.1-Megapixel Digital Camera - Blue
I have had this for about a month but used it on a vacation so it got lots of use. Lovvvve the color but beyond that it takes great pics. I am replacing a Canon-S2IS with a 12x zoom (zoom is a major consideration for me in getting a camera). I was tired of the bulkiness of it and looking for something smaller but with camparable zoom and pic quality.
It was between a small camera with a 10x zoom and this camera that caught my eye, I confess, with the color! The other had higher zoom, larger viewer (another concern for me)but was a bit bigger. the Olympus was smaller but less zoom. I decided to buy the other when I took one last look through the viewers of both and realized I could see much clearer through the Olympus! Even without my cheater glasses - even though the screen was smaller! That sold me! I don't miss the difference in the zoom, it takes great pics, flash is great and I haven't begun to try all the easily accessible options for special shots, no flash, etc. Battery

Canon PowerShot 8.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Black
This is officially our second digital camera. The first was a PowerShot SD300, which I LOVED.

I had a hard time giving up print film photo-taking 4 years ago, but I've not looked back sense. Having long ago taken a class in using 35mm SLR's all the added features of the PowerShot line are not lost on me.

The SD870IS is totally rocking, with its large viewing screen and image stabilizer. I'm a sepia addict as well, so naturally I use that whenever I can. I'm often in serious awe of how sharp the pictures are. Even when printing onto photo paper little of the image quality is compromised.

For anyone looking for a solid digital camera AND has an interest in a tad more than point-and-shoot, this is product is worth every penny.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Let me start this off by saying... when it comes to "tech stuff", I'm a bit of a moron. So, if you're looking for a review that was written by someone who knows "stuff", quit reading. I've had this tv for about a week now and both me and the wife LOVE it. The picture is amazing!!!! All we did was unpack it, plug everything in and turn it on. It was super simple to set up and the picture is awesome, even with factory settings. I've read a bunch of reviews that talk about the picture even being better after "tweeking" it, but I can't imaging it being any better. My wife and I don't agree on everything though; I HAVE to turn the 120Hz off when watching movies and some tv shows, it's just too life-like. My wife however loves it. I love the way that it makes sports, reality shows and news look, just not movies and most tv shows. But, just turn it off and the picture looks perfect (to me anyway). Lastly, Amazon's price beat the brick and mortor stores by almost $1000. I ordered it on a Sunday

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
The Samsung LN52A650 is spectacular. I have had the tv for two weeks (having purchased through Amazon.) Deep blacks have really improved my picture from all sources. This TV also handles SD signals well. I was afraid that my Wii video might look more aliased ("jaggies"), but it handles it very well.

Bluray is like no other. I love the auto motion plus (120Hz technology), but it does take time to get used to at first. The picture is SO smooth that it makes movies have a documentary feel to them. It looks live. I think Americans (like me) in general, aren't used to that live feel for movies. After careful observation, it is superior, and I shudder when I switch the 120Hz off because it is so chopped up looking in comparison. 1080i sources are also greatly improved because of this and feel more like a progressive scan source. Video games on the PS3 look great too.

The only disappointment I have is that the Optical audio output will only route Stereo audio coming from a 5.1 digital

Canon VIXIA 3.3MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder with Flash Memory - Black
This is a marvelous camcorder. Rather than repeat what some of the other reviews have mentioned, I thought I'd explain how to import video on the Mac, because it wasn't obvious to me. First, you must have an Intel based Mac running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). You also need iMovie '08, which comes with new Macs. If you're running an older version of Mac OS X (such as Tiger) or have an older version of iMovie, or have a PowerPC based Mac, you won't be able to import video from this camera.

To import video, attach the camcorder to the Mac with the USB cable that's included with the camcorder. Make sure you plug your camcorder into AC power, running from the battery won't work. Set the mode dial on the camera to video playback (the little blue camcorder icon). Turn on the camcorder. Now open the LCD display on the camcorder, and you'll see it's asking you a question: use the joystick to choose "computer" for where you're connecting the USB cable. I spent some time the first time I wanted to import

Canon PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver
I searched for the BEST point and shoot out there for over a month! After reviewing all the reviews and recommendations...and after buying the wrong camera and returning it, I choose this awesome camera.

I bought the 12 mega pixel Kodak that is around 200 dollars before i started my research. BIG mistake. if its too good to be true it probably is. On some professional sites, kodak didn't even get a mention, and when it did it was always discribed as good "for the money". I didn't want good for the money, I wanted plain good...great.

So let me save everyone some time. Buy this one, it is the best, buy it on amazon because it runs $350 in all retail stores, I got mine for 300. I don't regret this camera even a little. For the extra 100 I spent on it, I got a whole different caliber of camera, it took a picture of my dog shaking off after a swim...and it didn't blur at all!

Canon Pixma MX850 Office All-In-One Printer (2436B002)
Like many people who have used printers for decades, I've used a lot of brands but have used many more HP printers than other brands. The problem with HP is that they make good machinery but their software and interfaces suck. To me, when I'm dealing with HP, it feels like I'm back to DOS or an early version of Windows. I've been working with computers as part of my job since 1980 and have used most of the brands of Windows & DOS, many versions of Apple's OS, and even a little UNIX/LINUX. So I have used a great many printers/scanners/etc.

The Canon software feels much more Mac-like. And that's all I'll say about that. Mac users will know what I mean instantly. Better yet, the buttons, color display, and menu on the 850 itself are laid out well, very intuitive, and do the job very well. Overall, the software and hardware interfaces are way beyond what I expect for the price, way better than any HP equivalent, and probably at least as good as any other brand.

The hardware itself? I have

Samsung 46" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
First of all, AVOID ORDERING FROM 6AVENUE ELECTRONICS! THEY HAVE NO REFUND POLICY ON LARGE TVS NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS, AND THE DELIVERY GUY DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TIME TO TURN IT ON AND TRY IT WHEN ITS DELIVERED.

No for the rest.

I don't usually write reviews often but this really upset me. I did a lot of research before I purchased this television. Almost all the reviewers loved LN46A550, and it received top marks on almost every web site I looked. Which is why I was very surprised when I turned it on.

First the good.
1) looks nice
2) great contrast ratio and viewing angle
3) very bright
4) picture from a quality HD source like blue ray dist on a PS3 looks great, AS LONG AS THERE IS NOT MUCH MOTION ON THE SCREEN.

Now the bad:

1) analog SD TV looks absolutely horrific. The screen has these faint linear distortions going vertically on most channels, and the picture is very pixelated and blurry, especially around faces and moving objects. not every SD channel is equally bad, but

Samsung 52" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Picture absolutely stunning. Vibrant colors, crystal clear HD output. Even SD Channels are nice. All I have is ordinary Philips VHF/UHF Antenna I got from RadioShack and I am able to receive plenty of free-to-air HD Channels. The only issue sometimes I face is remote not responding promptly when I click buttons. I have to move my hands here and there especially Volume button to make it work. I think a decent Universal Remote Control will solve this problem. Other than that its absolutely gorgeous. Really Love this set.

Sony 7" Widescreen LCD Digital Photo Frame
Overall, this looked like a nice product...until I tried to load it up. It maxed at 170 pictures, regardless of size, type, etc. Yet, the box advertises "500 Pictures". I was using internal memory, and there was over 200MB free, yet I still got "destination drive out of space". I believe this is a limit per folder - I could create subfolders and add more pictures, but no way to display pictures in another folder that I could see. I'm returning it - what sealed the deal was the utterly clueless tech at Sony. After repeating myself 6 times, I logged off.

So, if you will only use limited number of pictures - I wanted a large, per year slideshow of kids - this is Ok. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Navigon 7100 GPS
I purchased a 7100 7 months ago. It has been plagued with software problems. Fortunately their tech support is readily available and helpful. I have over 50 hrs. into troubleshooting on my own and with their help. They replaced the unit twice and the SD card twice. The earlier problems have not resurfaced, but the third unit locks up during route calculation/recalculation. That really messes me up when in heavy Seattle or Portland traffic.
Even though they cannot fix it, they absolutely refuse to refund my money. Don't buy it.
If they had the bugs worked out it would be a great GPS. The features are fantastic. I have not experienced the functional problems that others have reported.
