great monitor

This product obviously is not on the high end of design nor does it come fully loaded with an array of features. However if you are looking for a basic LCD monitor for a desktop and you don't need all the bells and whistles then this monitor is the best buy! Excellent pic quality but right from the box it looks pretty ugly. You must tweak the settings and be sure to go to your control panel in windows and set to high res. if you previously had a standard monitor. Makes a huge difference

HP laptops

paid 800 for my hp laptop, 12 months latter or just after warrenty after very light use the unit blew, no and i mean no help what so ever from HP, pleaee dont buy HP no matter what

TV Stand

Great TV stand! I have this glass stand in my bedroom holding my 32" flat screen TV, cable box and DVD player. The glass shelves are nice ,heavy and very spacious. Easy to put together. I am glad I did not get the stand with the doors.

Great 1st Camera for my 12 year old!

I got this camera for my 12 year old to take on a vacation. She has had no problems learning to operate it. The software that downloads to your computer as soon as you plug in the usb is easy to use and understand. I looked for quite awhile to find a camera that was easy, inexpensive, small and would take "stills" as well as video--- this is a nice option without being too cheap. It was cheaper in the store than online however- so might be worth a drive to an actual store. The only drawback I have found so far is that the memory can only be downloaded to a computer so if you are on an extended trip (more than a day or two) and plan to film alot you might be better off with a camera that had internal memory and a memory card to expand your filming capability.

LG MAKES HAPPY TV'S

I am overall very please with the pleased with the product and would recommend an LG TV to anyone looking for a high quality picture with a smaller price tag.

Quite a good tv so far

I have had this set less than 2 weeks and I can find no shortcomings.Of course I do not do a lot of stuff that other people do.I have not tried the extras
The speakers are unnoticeable but they sound fine.

TV won't turn on

I Initially had problems getting the TV to start up the day that I brought it home, but unplugged it a few times and everything worked great. The picture is very nice, sound quality is OK, but for the price it can't be beat. This is for our bonus room, so it doesn't get watched every day. A few days after purchasing, the TV turned on (blue light came on), but no sound or picture and it wouldn't turn off with the remote or the power button on the unit. After unplugging it a few times, it finally powered on just fine. After sitting overnight, the same thing happened the next day. I have not been able to get the TV to turn on consistently and plan on returning it to the store.

Great GPS for the price

Overall this Garmin 265WT GPS is full of features for the price. The initial setup was relatively easy, however it took a little bit longer than I imagined (about 45 minutes) just to reach the first contact with the 3 satellites. The unit comes with lifetime traffic updates, which I will have to wait and see if that is useful or not. Most features were easy to use, but the user manual is not detailed enough for me. I went right to my computer to easily connect & register the unit and download the one free update to the maps. Keep in mind that the download for this unit was over 2 GB. After installing the updated map, the GPS stopped working properly as it had no idea of where it was (in this case Ohio). I contacted tech support, who were able to help me solve the issue in a friendly, polite manner. It turned out that something wasn't quite right with the new uploaded map, which was downloaded to a PowerPC Macintosh iBook. I re-downloaded the map from a Windows XP computer, installed  more

PLAZTASTIC!!

Picked this beauty up yesterday, replacing my Toshiba 32' lcd, wow what a difference!! I was going to get the Sony 40" lcd, but this tv was $60 cheaper. I put it on my desk, so I am about 4ft. away when viewing, and it is like a being in a movie theatre. I use a reciever for all my audio, so I can't comment on the tv speakers, I highly recommend everyone does the same. I was worried about getting a glare on the glass screen, but there is no issue with that. My Best Buy didn't have one on display, so I had to do a blind buy, no regrets yet. This is the first plasma I have ever owned, hopefully it lasts a long time, will be picking up the 4 year protection plan later this month. Still haven't figured out how the Viera works, but only had the tv for one day.

Excellent HD

This is an excellent TV especially when you get it and a Surround Sound system w/ an up-converting DVD for $799. (sale going on thru 11/21).

At Samsungs website and some other online retailers this TV was stated as having 1024*768 resolution however here at BB.com it says 1360*768 after hooking my PC up to it I can confrim it has a 1360*768 resolution.

Also for those who don't understand the 600hz sub-field drive feature it is referring to the refresh of the cells in the Plasma screen not the vertical refresh rate of the entire screen. In other words this feature eliminates any chance of motion blur or ghosting due to a fast moving image however it draws 60 frames per second not 120 frames like some of the 120hz LCDs do. This is not really a bad thing as No media except for some PC games runs higher then 60fps anyway. The 120hz or more TVs use a feature called frame doubling to make up for lack of frames and to me this can lead to an unusual and almost nauseating look  more

Really good, sony its sony

First I wanted to buy a 40 inch but i live in an apartment so i see this one at an incredible price for a sony so i bought it; first worried for the pic quality of a 720p but when opened and try it the picture was GREAT, you can watch from any angle without problem and the speakers are good if you complaint about them then get a home theater they were talking about the auto-dimming issue on the sonys well this one i dont see anything like that, the picture at the PS3 is awesome and blurays too

Very Pleased!

I got this camera as an early birthday present for myself just a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with the ease of using it. I previously had another Sony Cybershot (different model) and I enjoyed that camera for years, that is what brought me back to getting another Sony Cybershot. The size of the LCD screen is awesome!!! My old one had a screen that was only 1" so this is a huge improvement. All of the different settings and modes are so easy to figure out. If you are a beginner, I think you will find yourself getting started very quickly and really enjoying this awesome camera. I'm very happy with my purchase!

nice camera for its intended market

Let me start by saying that I'm an enthusiast, and love taking pictures although I have much to learn about photgraphy. That being said, I've actually owned a couple of these Stylus Tough 8000 series cameras. The main selling point of this camera has got to be its extreme toughness. You can take it practically anywhere under almost any conditions. That's why I have one of these cameras. Its great to take on a hike, when you don't want to carry a bigger DSLR, but still want reasonably good pictures. Its rugged, surviving the occasional drop that would break most every other camera.

Probably my favorite feature is the Panaramic mode which allows you to take wonderfully easy panaramic shots. The camera can even stitch them together for you on the fly. Which is really cool when you're on top of a mountain somewhere and want to make sure that the pic turned out the way that you wanted it to.

i use the camcorder for my son's football games. great zoom. it keeps the focus when zooming in and out. i tape from the pressbox. top quality. i tape right next to professional cameras. they are impressed with the quality level. software if top notch and easy to use. this camcorder will not let you down!

Great camera if zoom is not important

We owned a cyber shot that after a few years and many drops broke. We love this camera, the picture quality is the best! It is very easy to use as well. When we bought our new cybershot we were dissapointed in the zoom capibility. We ordered our new cyber shot camera on line and didn't get to play with it before our purchase. I would highly recommend going into the store to view the camera because when we went to return it, we had to pay an expensive restocking fee even though the box and contents were in new condition. If a zoom isn't that important, I would highly recommend this camera, we loved it, untill we wanted to photograph sports at a distance.

Ughhhhhhh

I swore never to buy sony again after my last DVD cam screen stopped working but here i am again.
What sucks;
Can only film i wide screen format.
Must use SONY PICTURE UTILITY to import video. IT IS SLOW AND ANNOYING AND GENERALLY SUCKS. THEN THE VIDEO MUST BE CONVERTED TO ENABLE TO USE ANY PROGRAM OTHER THAN SONY.
AGAIN THIS IS SLOW AND ANNOYING AND I FEEL UNNECESSARY BUT FOR SOME REASON SONY CAN NOT RESIST DOING IT THIS WAY. MOST LIKELY I WILL THROW THIS CAMERA INTO THE TRASH JUST FOR THIS REASON.
Only Adobe sucks more when it comes forcing library features down the throats of the consumers.
I can only assume this is because we would never use their software unless forced to.
If you still feel you must buy this camera, email me and i will sell you this Piece of **** for half price

i bought this a few weeks ago and had to return it the next day because it was that horrible....trust me and dont buy it...you will only be wasting your money

Awesome TV

I LOVE this tv! picture is super sharp, ps3 games and blueray have never looked so good!

Need just a touch of bass added to the speakers but the sound clarity is excellent. It just doesnt bump, lol.

Great TV

Great Camcorder

Unlike many others, we purchased this camcorder for family use only. We just wanted to capture videos of our 2 yr old son playing, fishing and holiday fun, or for just whatever. We didn't need alot of bells and whistles, but this one seems to have it all and it is really easy to understand the directions. We love that it is small and fits great in a large camera case. It gets an incredible picture. We're still learning the software and how to download to the computer and dvd. But so far it's been great!

Great TV

Great TV so far. Took longer to build the TV stand then it took to setup the TV. Tuned in all the HD channels on initial setup. I have not had any of the voice sync issues mentioned in other reviews. Volume is ok for casual listening. I turn on the surround system for movies.

Met all expectations of the price point.
