Insignia 32" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV

I have had this TV for atleast 2-3 months and nothing has gone wrong so far. Picture has remained the same, sound is pretty much amazing, I have enough inputs for everything I need, I even use this as a secondary monitor for my laptop (VGA). A couple tips though, if you want the best picture buy a THX movie and inside it will have a HD TV Calibration Disc. This will help people calibrate their TVs to something other than manufacturer settings. Although with most Mid-High end TV's are already calibrated right. And as for the sound, make sure to turn on the HD Surround in the settings menu, even though may not have HD surround set up, it makes a difference ;)

This TV was a good choice, especially when on sale for under $400. HD picture is great. SD picture is just OK. Setup was easy. Lots of inputs for DVD player, video games, etc. Sound is very good. I would buy it again.

LG 32LH20 32" LH20 Series LCD HDTV

I bought this TV for the 20w speakers.
It's wall mounted in my Master Bedroom approx. 13' away so I wanted to be able to hear it without cranking the sound and get distortion.
The 720p is perfect. You wouldn't see the difference with 1080p with this size and viewing distance
So for a great price I have a beautiful picture and nice sound can't go wrong.

Samsung LN32B360 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

For $450 I think it's hard to beat this Samsung. Setup was very easy, Picture is good, doesn't blow me away, but it's a 60 hz and I havent tried to manipulate the default settings to optimize, which I am sure would improve it. By now way is the picture bad. It's actually very good and was what I was hoping for. Great size for a bedroom, which is where ours is. Saw some reviews about volume not being enough, but it is plenty sufficient for me and I am hard of hearing.

The contrast ratio on this tv is awesome, I am more than thrilled with my choice for my first LCD TV. As soon as it was set up I was amazed with the quality of the sound as well as the picture! It was a great deal considering all of its features and I consider LG to be waaaayyy better than most other brands. I couldn't be happier with my TV! I highly highly recommend this television to anyone looking for a great deal on such a great tv!

I saved my money over the summer to buy a tv for under $450. I looked at many best buy tvs and this one looked good and din't coast much. i bought when home and hooked it up in like 6 min. Every thing works fine. The only thing i dont like is the input on the side because you can see the cords, but not a big deal. The Graphics for all my xbox games (cod) are amassing. Movies are very clear 2. Overal great tv!

Panasonic VIERA C12 Series TC-L32C12 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

All around impressive! The Panasonic TV is great. Very easy setup and a great picture. I had recently purchased another brand TV of the same size but returned it after having difficulty with the remote and programming. So I was a little nervous when I hooked up the Panasonic. Autoprogramming took about 5 to 10 minutes with a few button clicks. The setup screens are clear and easy to follow. From there I had Digital and Analog channels galore. Oh yea, its pretty too.

Dynex 32" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV

We have had this TV for about two weeks and will eventually be in front of the treadmiil and eliptical machine. We also have the Dynex DX-L32-10A 32" TV in a spare bedroom and use it as a computer monitor/TV and it works just fine. The HD is very good on these TVs. Both TVs are nothing spectacular, just good HD TVs for the price. If you are in the market for a TV around 32" I would say check out the Dynex before you decide on anything else. I have a 52" Samsung 1080P LCD, 110" Sharp 1080i HD projector, and a 55" Mitsubishi 1080i projection TV so I am very farmiliar with high definition and both these TVs have been doing the job.

What a great tv! Bought this for my mom's room and we couldn't be more happy with the picture. We don't even have it hooked up to an HD cable box, so the picture we are getting is not even HD but it is just fantastic. Literally pulled it out the box, screw on the stand, and it is good to go!

I bought this for my Mom's bedroom and have had it for about a week - so far the set looks good. I substituted an easy-to-use remote (Sony RM-EZ4). The picture quality (from Directv coax connection) is good, but not great. Better inputs like DVD via HDMI look great. Only gripe is the this set is supposed to have auto aspect ratio detection, where the image is automatically resized to accomodate 4:3, 16:9, and other ratios. I have a 32" Magnavox that does this quite well. The Insignia auto mode does not work at all. Most people adjust this manually anyway... A Geek Squad guy came out to look at the auto feature, and pretty much said "you get what you pay for..." I agree with that assessment.

I got it for 750 at bestbuy and I didn't even know it was for sale. WOW! AWESOME TV! It's well worth over 1300 in my opinion. The quality and performance totally outclasses anything else in this price range. Crystal clear, slick, beautiful. I'm an oldschool guy, I liked the gloss on the CRT tv's when they were big, and I missed them when LCD's came out. Maybe it's just in my mind, the glossy screen seems to give it more contrast, sharpness, and quality. But with this baby I can finally let go of my affection for CRT's.

We purchased two of these TV units. You have to use two remotes. They don't have a universal code to combine it to your dish remote. We even called the TV company direct. They said there is no universal code. The old TV we replaced this one with was more up to date on these things than this new one. Bad programming design.

LG 32LH30 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black

I guess you can't always go off reviews. I decided on this TV after reading all the reviews on the different brands of 32" 1080P TVs and the LG had a perfect rating. I should have just gone with a brand I used before instead of trying a LG. With 3 days the TV has about a dozen dead pixels or pixels that are starting to go out. Looks like purple dots all over the screen when you get close. How can a computer monitor go years without a dead pixel when being used 8 hours a day 5 days a week and all the TVs loose atleast one pixel in the first 5 months when watching it a couple hours a week? The set up of the TV was about the same as any other TV but the sound is really nice on the surround mode. It sounds almost as good as a regular surround system.

Insignia 32" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV

This is my first HD TV. Amazingly quiet, great picture quality via monster HDMI cables with Comcast HD/DVR and Insignia Blue Ray Player. Great value, got set on sale for $399 ($20 more than the 720p version). TV sits in my entertainment center (barely). I can't use the side controls (too tight of a fit) so I hope I never lose the remote. The TV is a strong 31-1/16" wide. Sound is soso, but from reviewing other TVs, this is a common issue. For TV viewing, not a big deal, for movies, I run the sound through stereo speakers. Love the TV and am glad I purchased it.

The TV won't play DVD or Blu-Ray in DTS-HD sound. I tried watching X-Men Originis (which is coded in DTS instead of Dolby) by hooking up my computer (with blu-ray player) to the LG and there was no sound. I hooked it up to our Sharp TV, and it played. I called LG and they said "I don't see DTS on the spec sheet."
I returned the TV.

I was looking for a TV for my bedroom, i didnt want anything like a 1080 plasma or anything like that since it would just be us primarily watching it, but i feel that this TV is definitly underpriced. The picture is VERY clear... i think it looks like we bought an LED TV even though its just an LCD its VERY NICE.... The sound is great... the speakers are in the back so it sounds like surround sound in our bedroom. This was defintley a GREAT buy..... I reccomend this TV to anyone not lookin to spend too much on a smaller TV

Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-32S5100 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Black

I just purchased and set up the Sony 32" HDTV yesterday. It was very easy to get to all of the necessary connections to hook them up to my cable system. The picture quality is what I expected in the SONY product line. The one thing that was puzzling was what settings I needed to adjust in order to sharpen the picture and get the color balance. I had to go through the picture selection phase to achieve the proper adjustments. You may want to do some advanced research reading in order to get the picture the way you want it in order to get a precise overall quality picture. It is not difficult, but may require a few adjustments in each area to get it to your personal liking. I did get the look I needed after a few tries. The price was great for the quality and I am pleased with this choice. I do plan to get another set in the future. The 1080p was a steal at this price. You will not go wrong by purchasing this model "SONY Bravia KDL-32S5100".
