Unbeatable price for a top quality set. Delivered in three days and easy to set up and begin viewing. Great picture and seemingly wrap-around sound. Anyone shopping for a new TV would be foolish not to check the bargains at Overstock.BobbyBoBellmawr, NJ

The picture quality is amazing. And I particularly like the "side-stretch" feature-- it makes ordinary TV shows and movies look like HD without any great distortion. I don't think any other brand offers this feature. The only downside is the built in Blu-ray DVD. It's convenient, but . . . takes a very long time to load, doesn't remember where you were if you stop/eject and come back later, and when you stop, the TV doesn't automatically go back to the previous mode you were in, like back to cable tv. But the picture is amazing. The blacks are truly black, and the colors are vibrant. I love that picture!

The set is excellent when it was working but warranty service is pathetic. 3 months old and it started to have a totally white screen upon start up. Filed a warranty claim online, pickup was prompt by a repair vendor that Samsung directed me to. That was 5 weeks ago with no end in sight. The authorized repair vendor keeps saying they are waiting for parts, every time it's different and every time the part is special order from Samsung. Samsung 800# is useless, the escalation line has been down for a week, all you get is no help and a hang up. At this point, I really don't think I'll ever see the set again. Total frustration. Beware!

Purchased my Philips HDTV at my local Costo store in Anchorage , Alaska yesterday for $599 with a extended three year warrantee because we used our AX credit card . Set it up yesterday and it pretty much went as the other two reviews said . Other friends who purchased HDTVs lately suggested that we allow for a couple week burn - in period before fine tuning our set . And the set this morning is still running fine . What was curious when we paid for it at the checkout stand was the clerk said to save the original box for a month or so because their local Costco store had been getting a lot of Vizio's back lately . Am now looking at Philips DVD VHS combo players to hook up to this set later . Prices seem to be right on those too plus there shouldn't be a compatibility issue . Really appreciate the other two excellent reviews . Reading those and Costco's usual excellent warrantee service on any other products I've taken back to them made the difference in my purchase . I bought a samsung ln32b550 because I read that this lg had poor black levels and a poor backlight. Well the truth is the samsungs black levels were arlight and the backlight on it was aweful. I ended up buying the lg and returning the samsung. This LG has just as good black levels and the backlight actually looks alright. The price is also right for this tv.

While I've only had this TV for a few hours, I'm greatly impressed. The picture is wonderful and the sound is great in the small room the TV is in. Although I would like a headphone output, connecting it to a home theater system is easy. Having a USB connection for music and pictures is an interesting feature and the music sounds great. I recommend this TV to anyone looking for an excellent smallish LCD TV.

The packaging includes 8 screws for installing the screen onto its LCD TV Stand assembly which includes the(1)the base Stand; and (2)the Guide Stand, which is a metal form that sits on the base Stand, and it serves to assist in the pivoting the screen. The screen mounts on this interface Guide Stand. However, the factory packaging includes the wrong size screws : Too big, making it impossible to screw them into the predrilled holes of these 3 units.( The included assembly instructions specifies that the Samsung 32" LCD stand requires 4 special screws: Another Amazon user had similar problem on different Samsung 32" model in the L32B5 series.) Anyway,I promptly called customer service, and they said they would send me replacements and asked me to call again for tracking. I called 3 days later, and they referred me to the repair service rep. This rep (first name started with 'J') was irritated that I called, and said I would have to wait 7 to 14 business days, and he rebuked me for calling

Much like many of the other customers who purchased the Samsung 32" B Series LCD television, I too, did MUCH research before buying this television. After going to Target, Walmart, BestBuy, and various online stores, I decided to purchase the Samsung after MANY comparisons, and for only $499.99 at BestBuy. Between the price, brand name, and overall quality we can expect from Samsung, it just made sense to buy this television set over Sony. This television was bought with the intention of not spending more than $500 and having it perform at least above average for my bedroom. Upon looking at comparable televisions, the Samsung had an AMAZING picture. It was EXCEPTIONALLY clear and very clean, new, and expensive looking. The options were exactly what I wanted: Computer input, 2 HDMI cable inputs, and multiple component inputs. It was 720P but after speaking with many owners and doing more and more research, it just isn't worth the money to purchase a 1080p TV set ($700+) when you WON'T

returned the proscan 40 " 1080p set that was on sale for 499. for this sony, the proscan was terrible!! this sony 720p blows it away with clarity and color .. great bedroom tv

First Tv:
I turned it on and immediately noticed that the backlight was extremely wavy with a lot of dark spots. turned the xbox 360 on and the bright colors look great but any picture with the color grey or darker in it will show the poor backlight. The tv had three dead pixels right next to each other, so I ended up trying a new one

The backlight is even worse. There is light streaks about an inch thick taking up most of the screen. The screen also came with smug smarrks on it an the bezel had scratches. This is brand new out of the box when I spoted this! I contemplating whether I can accept this poor backlight or not.

When I got this item I was very impressed with the picture quality, but then after six months the picture started going out for a few minutes now and then. It would recover on its own, but then it went out for good. So I looked online and found that Samsung TV's have this problem quite a bit and good luck getting service. So I tried setting up service online but there online support center doesn't work for much of anything other than downloading user manuals. Other functionality ends up in a loop or with nothing. So I called their service department just now, and based on what people have reported I don't expect to get speedy service or maybe any service, but even if they fixed this tomorrow there is no excuse for a TV to go bad after 6 months of light usage. My other TV's are 15-20 years old and have had no problem ever.

This TV is an excellent value for the price and LG is one of the best brands out there for LCDs. The design is sleek with a piano black finish. The 32" size is perfect for the bedroom and the picture quality is excellent. I will definitely buy LG again. I first experienced this TV in the Trump Hotel Las Vegas and I could tell it was awesome, so I went and purchased one for home right away. Next on the horizon is a larger screen.

This Sony Bravia XBR9 is an excellent HDTV with clear vibrant colors and much control on all features. You won't be disappointed buying the best of the best.

Samsung 32" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV does not feature a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio as stated above in the overview; but better yet a 50,000:1 ratio. Read the Specs and the box the T.V. comes in. Beautiful red color to the clear- lucite stand it sits on. Great price for the quality features that it has and very important it sounds great! Not like the other T.V.s I listened to-Sony was good too but pricey. We use our Samsung in the bedroom, else I would have gotten an even larger T.V. I am going to buy a monster surge protector for it and I would have then if someone would have brought it up. I bought the warranty but I had to ask about it upon checking out-I had help but yet no one told me about the availablity of the extended warranty or the Rewards Zone card.

Ever since i bought this item nothing has gone wrong with it it has great sound and picture and a good price. also i have a PS3 and it works great with this TV.

Ok so I got this T.V. yesterday at my local bestbuy and all I can say is that I'm blown away! The tv's picture quality is very very nice and sound is pretty good! Yes I know the tv is a 720p but it CAN handle 1080p on the Xbox 360 or PS3. Its a very nice tv for a bedroom and GREAT for gaming. This is definitely the best 32" out there in the market! You will NOT be disappointed!

I brought the TV this past Sunday, took me no time to hook it up and place it on the stand. The very next morning I went to my loacal cable company for a HDTV cable box. What a great picture and sound I have with this Sony Bravia. Great price for a great TV

I purchased this tv after a review in consumer reports. The tv was delivered promptly and I was very pleased. The tv arrived on May 20th, on May 22nd I had a black screen. I contacted Samsung and they walked me through a few things, and still a black screen. I was instructed to box it back up, pay for the shipping and return to Samsung. I did this immediately. Today is the 16th of June and I still do not have a tv. They inform me that they are having difficulty getting the part. When I ever do get a tv back, I will now have a repaired tv, when I never really had a new one. I am very dissappointed, I requested they just send a new one out to replace it, they said they could not do this. I ordered it because my old tv had gone out, so in the meantime no tv. I would not recommend Samsung based on the time it has taken, and no idea of how much longer it will take. I just can't understand why they cannot get parts for their own brand or let me enjoy having a new tv instead of a repair.
