Sharp Aquos LC32D64U 32-inch 1080p LCD HDTV
This was a brand new televion and love watching my High Resolution HDTV, Replaced my 8 year old Sony 27" with this one and am very pleased with the quality and clarity, remember to purchase the HDMI cords, they make connecting television to other components much easier,ie:DVD, Stereo-Theater System, Cable Box, VCR. Also be sure to get the Protection Plan to insure the purchase. Very Pleased with my Sharp Aquos 32" 1080p. Great Value You Won't Regret It!

Canon VIXIA 3.3MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder with Flash Memory - Silver
Basically, it works as advertised. But with a few hiccups.

The image stabilization is poor. Combined with the light weight of the camera, it's hard to hold without jitter, practically impossible at maximum zoom. Walking with the camera makes the picture jump all over the place. And these fast movements don't make the compression algorithm happy. As a comparison point, my old Sony Hi8 camcorder can handle even the vibration in a race car without any of it showing on the screen.

Light sensitivity is poor. In low light it drops the frame rate and the video looks funny, blurred and stepped.

If you just leave the camera on without shooting, it still eats the battery like it is shooting. Turning it off and on takes a while, a few seconds. You'd think that this should not be the case in a device without mechanical moving parts but it is.

The file format is weird. There is a good reason why they sell a special DVD writer as a separate (not cheap) option. You can't just copy the files to DVD

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
One can not overestimate the WOW factor of the Samsung LN52A750 52-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color. In the LN52A750 Samsung has given the world brilliant picture quality and stunning style in a unit that anyone would be proud to make the centerpiece of their living room or entertainment palace.

Right out of the box the picture is impressive, although the factory settings are too bright and overly saturated. This is to be expected, however, as virtually all manufacturers tune their sets to stand out in store displays. After fine-tuning my set using Digital Video Essentials: Optimize Your Home Entertainment System (NTSC Component), I now have a virtually perfect picture. It was a tedious and time-consuming process, however, so my recommendation to the patience-impaired would be to hire someone locally to do the work using the latest test equipment. For most people it would be well worth the cost (est. $50 -$75) after shelling out a couple of G's for a state-of-the-art LCD

Sony BRAVIA XBR 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Three quick points:

(1) White Glove Delivery -- This is a big and expensive set, so I was a little stressed about delivery. But I needn't have been. Amazon's delivery service was excellent; the two representatives were competent and respectful (took off their shoes, didn't rush, unpacked and set up the set, etc.) -- a great experience.

(2) Picture -- This set replaces a four year old Runco 50" plasma in a large room with lots of windows/daylight. What a difference: not only is the picture just as sharp and detailed as the Runco, it is *bright* and easily visible, without reflections. If you need to fill a big and well-lit room, this set will do it.

(3) Mechanical Layout -- The only reason this TV doesn't get five stars from me is the illogical placement of the I/O ports (including the power cable connection) on the back. Basically, there are four (and only four!) wall mounting points (holes for bolts) on the back, arranged like a square. But the power connection is directly between

Sony BRAVIA 46" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I researched LCD's till my mind felt like scrambled eggs. I assume, like most other people, the decision came down to Sony or Samsung. I wanted to spend around $1500 for a 46 inch. After much deliberation and physically checking out the TV's at Best Buy, i went with the Sony for the following reasons:

Picture: The Sony screen is less reflective than the Samsung, providing a picture that i feel is easier on the eyes. The Sony also has very deep blacks, which makes the image look fantastic. I have to say that i also think the Samsung has a great picture, i just prefer Sony's.

Sound: The Samsung down firing speakers sound terrible and muffled, and although many people will hook their TV's up to a sound system, this bugged me. The Sony built in speakers sound great.

Design: To me, Samsung TV's look cheap and plastic. And i don't like "The Touch of Red." I think it looks cheesy and eighties. Although there is plastic border around the Sony, its industrial design is clean and elegant, and

Sony BRAVIA XBR 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I am very pleased at the sharpness and clarity of this unit allowing you to see small details easily. This is especially important when viewing a financial channel. Sony seems to have dealt with what I noticed long ago about their sets and that is red diffusion. This is when you cannot clearly discern the edges of a solid red image. I have always bought Sony XBR units. This is my 4th set going back to the early seventies. They certainly last a long time.

Samsung 6.4MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder with 2.7" Touch-Panel LCD Monitor - Black
This review is going to be a description of this camcorders ease of use and application of features and isn't meant to be comparison to other camcorders in the same price class. Contextual references to other camcorders and cameras may be included for basis of perspective.

+ It is ready to go right out of the box, the battery arrived with a 70% charge and it took only 30 minutes on the charger to fully charge, the grip thumb buttons almost make single handed use a reality.

+ The touch screen menus are created in a hierarchal outline of functions instead of the tree of features like those found Nikon SLR's. The Samsung has four menu items per page and six pages totaling 24 features with simple "Yes / NO" or "On / OFF" options. A Nikon and othe cameras have menus that require you to drill down to sub menus and sub sub menus and the Samsung avoids this frustration.

+ Crystal clear clarity even in low light conditions the Samsung performed admirably and in 1080 / 30p, or 1080/60i, or 480/60p.

Samsung 25.5" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HD Monitor - Black/Red
I just received the monitor, so my intention is to write a review based on initial impressions. In-depth reviews and long-term reviews I'll leave to others.

Out of the box, not much of a problem. I didn't have much a problem with anything. Just put the two pieces of the base together, insert the metal base piece into the bottom of the monitor, take off the back plate and insert your power cable and whatever cable you are going to use to hook it up to your computer, and pop the back plate back on. DVI, analog and USB are supplied, as well as the power cord, so you get four cords, and will wind up using two (the power cord and the cord you choose to hook up to your monitor). No tools required.

Asthetics - a nice, nice black with a red/rose tinting around the edges, and then silver at the very edges. I like it - this will be personal preference, but it looks nice to me.

I plugged it in and it immediately started going between modes looking for a signal. I turned on the computer,

Samsung 25.5" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HD Monitor - Black/Red
Pros: This monitor arrived with no dead pixels, the ToC red is actually a very nice touch, the built in DTV tuner is worth the extra cost because it will find extra channels. The picture quality in 1080p on the PS3 is wonderful especially watching blue ray movies! Using it as a desktop monitor the picture is perfect. Gaming with this is great because you can see the camper from a looooong distance away! I did a dual view with this monitor vs my 19 inch and man oh man what a difference!!! A guys head would be the size of a dime on the 19' and about the size of a quarter/ nickel on this monitor. Helps a lot getting head shots and shooting long distances. In maps, playing America's Army, I can stand on the opposite side of the map and see the enemy clear as day, take my time and shoot when I'm ready... Chances are, you're going to be called a hacker! Also playing at 1920x1200 you will notice a lot more detail and games will look a lot better. No need to have your webpage's maximized!!

Cons:

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Great LCD picture. Would rank it the same as the offerings from Sony. However my set had some clouding issues along with a warped panel! The set was bowed left to right and top to bottom. If your looking at it head on, no problem. If you view it from the side as in my home, you can notice it. Im in the process of having it replaced. lastly the sound is barely acceptable. You need to turn the surround sound on and crank the bass all the way up to barely get by. The Panasonic plasmas sound much better out of the box. if your doing a surround system its not a problem. The picture is as good as it gets for high def. The extreams between black and white is amazing! Motion is as good if not better than all the current high def panels. It is VERY thin but you need to understand that even though its only 1.9 inches wide, the imputs are NOT recessed so you need to get the set about 2 more inches away from the wall either on a bracket or stand. i also have a 1080p plasma and to be

Samsung 46" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
We debated for a couple months deciding to go with the 650 vs 550. We finally decided on the 550 and did not think that the 120HZ would make a big difference. We currently do not have HD, but will probably get soon. This tv is awful for football without HD. The picture if very pixelated even in the 4:3 vs 16:9. It is worse than my 10 year old tv that is about comparable in size to the 4:3. I would not recommend this tv without HD if you watch any sports. Also overall, picture not very good with daylight, but does look good at night as long as there is no excessive movement.

Sony KDL-40Z4100/s 40 Bravia Z Series LCD HDTV
Bought the Sony 40" 1080P Z LCD running with PS3 over Monster 1000M HDMI. Verdict, Amazing Picture! Go ahead buy Wall-E BluRay and turn on the TVs Motion Enhancer on Standard or High. This is as close to 3D as you can get. Absolutey breath taking during the SpaceWalk scene.

LCD pix looks very good with HD TV and digital cable even looks better then regular 1080I TVs. Amazon is currently offering this TV at a huge discount. Buy this TV or its 46" sister, and you will be happy. The TV on Vivid setting is very bright so you will need to have a very bright roon or manually tweak the custom setting. Also, TV comes with no cables, so you will need to buy high end cables for your HDTV and Blu Ray to get the perfect picture.

Panasonic VIERA TC-37LZ85 37 LCD TV-37 LCD 1080P
After reading Consumer Reports ratings, I ordered this tv online. We just received it today, opened, set up and watching HDTV in less than 10 minutes! The picture is beyond expectations. The color is so sharp and the picture is positively exquisite. Not only did Amazon have the best price, the no shipping, no taxes and white glove delivery made this an exceptional purchase overall. "Santa" delivered the new tv now, in anticipation of my 7yr old getting a wii for Christmas. I am so excited, "Santa" may have to open the wii tonight after he is in bed to test it out on the new tv.

Overall, the whole buying experience was so easy through amazon and the tv is just awesome!

Samsung 6.4MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder with 2.7" Touch-Panel LCD Monitor - Black
I've been researching HD camcorders for sometime now and was thrilled to get this one. Of course with everything there is good and bad and I'll explain it all, there's a bit to cover.

First, the camera is heavier then it looks, which for me is ok because I know that its made with metal parts and not all plastic. Its very sleek looking and compact, smaller then I thought. Its a shiny metallic black which is also a fingerprint magnet.

The swivel handle grip is comfortable but I find that holding your hand with your fingers pointing down and using your thumb to control the buttons makes things more stable and comfortable in the long run. The buttons for the most part are placed well, the power button is a two hander but is out of the way so there is no accidental shut off.

The LCD screen...is a touch screen....WOW, its great, works very very well. Its very accurate and only needs a light touch. Yep another fingerprint magnet but its expected. All the settings and configurations are done

Sony BRAVIA XBR 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I've had TV for approximately one month and love it. Outstanding picture and very good sound. Was easy to install (on pole mounted TV stand), and setup was straight forward assuming you follow the on-screen options and prompts. With a 52 inch screen, you don't want to sit too close (need 10-12 feet for best view). View from side angles very good, and contrast and brightness excellent under different light conditions. Very pleased to date.

Sanyo 1080p HD Home Theater Projector
I got mine today and hooked it up. Easy to setup, 5 stars there. The menu on the remote is a bit funky, not much though. It just needs a couple extra minutes to adjust to it. After that, it's easy sailing.

Picture Quality, contrast etc?
I don't have a TV in the room so I really have no point of reference other than what I understand to be a good picture based on the couple of plasmas and lcd's I have upstairs. The picture is decent. I projected it onto a light yellow wall and the image was as good as my LCD. Projected onto a screen, this is a very good image. It wasn't cristal clear because I was running Oceans 12 at 480P, still very clear. 5 stars there.

I have 20 pot lights downstairs, with half of them on (see my uploaded pic with Halo 3 [...] the picture is still clear - not sure what the fuss is about poor image quality there. To me, the movie was easy to take in with half the lights on. With the lights dimmed, it's that much more beautiful.

It's bigger than I thought it would

Canon VIXIA 3.3MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder with Flash Memory - Silver
I was a little skeptical at first. This camera seems too good to be true while reading all of the specifications listed. But I really have to say that it lived up to all of my expectations. In a well lit area the picture is absolutely stunning--a sharp and true-to-life image. In darker rooms the picture doesn't get grainy at all from my experience. Obviously a darker room isn't going to be quite as stunning as a brighter one but I'm still impressed. The mic picks up wind but not to a distracting point. Burning to DVDs/Blu-rays is actually pretty easy as well. I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio and it imports the video and is easily edited. My computer isn't the most amazing, so the video may take a second or two to buffer before I can preview it but I've been cutting videos and burning them easily since I bought the camera just a couple months ago. The battery that comes with the camera doesn't last all that long (probably an hour+). I would buy the extended battery for something

LG 32" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
With all the crying over a 4th port that isn't actually available this TV is getting a bad rating for basically nothing. I hate it when people can't find their tissue.

This screen looks great is is priced right for the size. Highly recommend it!

System is good for a small room. The picture clarity is great and HD is sharp and crisp. Sound is acceptable but I added a small powered audio speaker system to enhance the base.
