This product works fairly well as a microphone but it doesn't work well for Karaoke. It lowers the entire sound and makes it hard to hear the tune. You also have to be about 8' away from the computer to stop the feedback. I didn't expect a great deal from this microphone but it was disappointment.

I really enjoyed this game and it was fairly simple and straightforward. The only drawback is that if you want additional songs you must have additional services. Only 30 or so songs are included. But, you don't have to have a good voice to do well, just sing on the right pitch. You can also change your character, clothes, etc. I think all ages would enjoy this game if the right songs were downloaded. The songs included are a mix between recent hits and old favorites.

When I bought this I was using my ipod 3rd gen.,but recently I bought a ipod touch,now I can't use my little karaoke mic with it. ;(
But as far as how it works,its great and pretty fun,but you cant go close to the speakers with it and you can't go to far away from the radio source or you will hear alot of static.It will also drain you battery.So make sure your ipod is fully charged.It came in the mail pretty quick,considering I didn't use any special mailing options.

This system is ONLY 105 Watt Total of all speakers! not 105 watt per speaker
we bought thinking that it was 200 watt max PER SPEAKER because Its kinda dumb to find a system this price with that little cheap sound. but we were wrong.
You can find MANY MANY different systems 1000+ watt Systems for same price and LESS
I returned this the second i got it because of its cheap Output and Quality

We play this game at family get togethers and we love it. The adults and the kids have a great time singing, then listening to the comments from the judges. There are maybe 30 or so songs, but there is a good mix of songs that the adults know and newer ones that the kids enjoy. In fact, we enjoyed this game so much, we decided to kick it up a notch, so I'm shopping for Rock Band.

The DVD players seems to be working well but the microphones that came with it one package was opened and when we tried to use it, it didn't work. The other one works but it sound like an echo. This was a gift to my granddaughter for her birthday. It's like someone else had bought this and it didn't work so you sent it to the next person. So now what do I do to get two working microphones for my granddaughter. Also, the picture you show at the top of the page, I got the big DVD machine, 2 microphones, wirering, and a remote control, nothing else. The karaoke disk we really haven't tried except one because of microphones.

I have several of the Karaoke Revolution games and this one disappoints. You can not really use the game for Karaoke as when you get 3/4 of the way through the song static starts crackling through the speakers. This is a flaw in the game that Konami is aware of but there is no word from them as to when a fix will be out. The only solution to this problem is to turn the mic volume down to zero. Two mics for duet mode are also very hard to get working. You have to go muck with the audio settings on the PS3 (choose Logitech Microphone). I recommend only buying this game when they have these problems fixed. Also I assumed when I bought the game that you could put your face on you character with a PlayStation Eye, but the camera only displays what is sees in the background of the game in certain venues.

I've been eyeing this system for about a year now. I was hezitent about this system because of its lack of a subwoofer. Now I know why a subwoofer isn't included...NO NEED FOR ONE! The LBT-ZX80D puts out solid deep bass if properly EQ'ed. I don't even have to use the V-Groove (high-bass) feature. But if someone wanted more bass there is a port in the back for one to be added. The surround is also solid. I haven't played around with the dvd funcion much yet, but so far it was good. The remote can be a little confusing, but over all this system is A+++. Highly recommend it.

Easy to use microphone(s) with nice long cords. Two players can sing at once; however not if you want them to sing two different things such as duets or battling in American Idol Karaoke Revolution. So you would have to buy two microphones any ways.

During the past few months, my friends and I have been very interested in music video games and have spent many Friday afternoons and evenings playing them. This one has not been one of our favorites.
First of all, there is no option to buy this game without the bundled USB microphone which adds to the cost. I already own multiple microphones from other singing games I have purchased and really didn't want any more. This one also felt cheaper and lighter compared to some other ones, such as the Rock Band microphone.
I was also disappointed, because the tracks are not sung by the original artists but rather third parties. If I am going to spend $70 on a game, I would prefer to at least have the original tracks to listen to instead of some other unknown singers, especially for songs I don't know and am being introduced to by the game.
The characters, which are not a huge part of the game, nevertheless are all kind of ugly. This makes it more difficult for my me and my friends to choose

American Idol was a hit with the whole family and kept us all entertained for the birthday party. The only negative comment I have is that there could be better songs to choose from. Some of them were from before my time!

While the game is still fun to play, this is by far the weakest entry in the Karaoke Revolution franchise. As my wife points out, these games are all about the singing, and KRAI: Encore delivers on this point. The tracklist has 40 titles, with a pretty good mix of genres spanning over several decades. The songs are, with a few exceptions, spot-on covers of the originals. And the background graphics are quite good, very realistic, almost like you're there.
However, my wife's opinions notwithstanding, there are a great many flaws in the game:
1. Sub-par character graphics. The graphics and animation are terrible. Konami decided to go away from the "cartoony" characters and make them more human and life-like. The cartoony characters looked better and moved better. The more life-like characters are--let's face it--ugly, and their dancing is horrid. Also, you cannot customize every feature of your character as you could in some previous versions.

First off the vocals for the songs are not from the real artists. Some songs come close but gives the game a bad feel. Sometimes you hear static when you sing. Maybe its a bad mic and im just unlucky but its not worth the 69 bucks to me. Character customization is limited. Your stuck with pre made models and all you can do is edit their clothing. Other than that, if you like singing the game is fun we have a good time playing it. Id rather wait for Sing Star whenever that one comes out. At least you get real artists singing and there videos to boot.

this game is lots of fun. the best part is that there is so many things to unlock such as characters, more songs, trophies, etc. lots of fun for the whole family. The only little flaw is that sometimes in paula's review it isnt her voice. i think its just pure laziness from the makers of the game, but still really cool game

This Karaoke machine is not a toy. It is actually a very nice piece of electronic equipment. The sound volume coming out of the enclosed speaker is adequate. There are cables included with this unit that allow you to connect it to your 2000 Watt Sony Sound System so that you can make yourself deaf - just like a real rock star. Like the rest of the reviewers note, there is also a cable to allow you hook the unit up to a TV so that you can see lyrics. But the kid that I bought this for never uses this feature because she knows the words to all of her songs by heart and doesn't need this feature. The included microphone is what I would consider "studio quality" - it is quite sturdy and seems to have a good sensitivity. I'm sure you know, but I'm going to point that you can sing along with ANY audio CD, not just Karaoke CD's. You can also use this machine as a CD player to listen to your CD's, although the one oversight on this unit is that there is no headphone jack for private listening.

i love this game. it's worth the price and the family fun is priceless. much harder then the first tape. the songs are in depth but worth it really. beats going to the movies! love love love it!

I purchased this product for my daughter's 9nth B-Day and she LOVES IT!!! I actually enjoy it also at times, sometimes I find myself using it without my daughter...the only thing I do not like is the microphone volume. It gets loud as you turn the tv up, but trying to adjust it to be loud enough AND still hear the music, sometimes in frustrating....the good thing is, if you don't have mean neighbors, you can turn it up as loud as you want and you shouldn't have any issues then:)

This product works just like i thought great but the microphones need to be changes because you can barely hear yourself and you kinda need to figure the video audio out on your own cause i cant hear the movie voices only the background music

I love the new American Idol Revolution Encore game, recommend this for everybody of all ages for lots of fun and for those who love to sing. Can't wait for the next American Idol game!!!!!!
