Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
I bought this for my 1st generation iPod Touch and had some doubts as to whether or not it would work based on reviews of other similar products. However, after getting the Griffin charger I have charged the iPod several times with no problems. What's great is that it will charge many of my other devices that require USB in order to charge.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
I have wanted a charger and did not want to pay alot for it. This was exactly what was needed and was a great value. I would advise anyone with an iPod to get one. Love mine and will order another as a back up when traveling.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
The IPOD I oredered from Worldwide Entprises is a complete fake. It was not at all what we ordered at all. There is no way to return or get in touch with this company. Alot of money down the drain.

Creative Labs MF5095A TravelSound Speaker System for iPod Shuffle
It's a nifty little item and I like that they can be plugged in simultaneously for charging. However I expected it to have better sound for the price I paid. It sounds very, very tinny, w/ no bass at all. That would be expected if I'd paid $20 or so, but not for over $50. I would not recommend it.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
This charger cord fit my ipod perfectly. The website was easy to navigate and it was easy to find the products that matched my unit. The ordering process was quick and easy. The product was in stock and shipped promptly. It arrived sooner than I expected. I am very pleased with this product and with Overstock.com.

Creative Labs MF5095A TravelSound Speaker System for iPod Shuffle
I received this as a gift recently. I didn't even know this type of product existed for my Shuffle. The sound is really good and has strong volume for the small zize of the speaker. It easily fits into your bag or pocket for on the go use.

It's great that there is a wall charger included with this product to charge it's rechargeable battery. It also charges your Shuffle if you have it attached. The only downside I notice is that the cover for the Shuffle at the top of the product tends to come off on it's own if you just throw the product in your bag or backpack. It should have some kind of release so that doesn't happen.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
Big bang for the buck. I am happy with the charger & and sync cable that work with my iPod Nano (3rd gen). The newer design currently sold in retail stores is slimmer and less bulky, but also more expensive. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

DLO Power Bug AC Adapter for 1st- and 2nd-Generation Apple iPod shuffle - White/Silver
A few months ago I needed to replace my broken shuffle dock. After trying the IncipioBud (which I didn't care for) I tried the PowerBug. So far, I adore it and have absolutely no complaints. However, considering the poor product description, it was more a lucky break than an informed decision.

As shown in the picture above, the PowerBug comes in two pieces: the little white charger unit (the "bug") and a usb cable that connects from the "bug" to the shuffle. This means your shuffle can be plugged into the wall and charged anywhere, anytime; it also means the usb cable can be removed from the "bug" and plugged into the computer, allowing your shuffle to be charged and synced in the standard manner.

So, no -- this isn't a stand-your-shuffle-up-on-it dock, but it will do the same job, as well as allowing it to be charged in a standard wall plug. Better yet -- at least for me -- the "bug" also seems to be compatible with the usb cable for my older video ipod, allowing me a lot of charging

DLO Power Bug AC Adapter for 1st- and 2nd-Generation Apple iPod shuffle - White/Silver
This item is a compact way to charge your shuffle on the go! It more than double the price at BB, and at other stores, so this is a great price. It fits in the palm of your hand.

The reviewer below did not read, or did not understand, the product description, and certainly did not know what this product costs elsewhere.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
I purchased this charger as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it and uses it nearly every week. Both she and I have a first generation iPod Nano (4GB), and the Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger has worked flawlessly for charging both of our Nanos. It charges the devices much faster than pluggin into the USB port on a computer. My wife doesn't often have her computer turned on more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time, so charging with a computer is not a good answer for her.

While it is true that Amazon does not really advertise this item properly, it is pretty obvious by the picture(s) and description that it is meant for iPods. If you wish to charge a Sansa or Creative MP3 player then you should look at purchasing a Griffin PowerBlock Universal. However, I haven't found it listed here on Amazon so you will likely have to purchase from another on-line merchant.

My wife and I are extremely happy with our Griffin PowerBlock and would highly recommend it to any iPod owner.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
This is a really handy and very well designed. I have used it when traveling to recharge from a wall socket and also use the cord without the plug to charge my iPod on my office computer. I also like that the plug folds away to make this more compact when packing for travel.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
The box states "AC charger for USB devices". I knew this was made specifically for Ipod, but I was hoping that it would charge other USB devices too (USB devices that I know can be charged through USB, that is). No luck, though, it only worked on the ipod. Worse, however, whenever I plugged a different USB device into this charger, the device would say "charging", but not actually BE charging. I had my phone plugged in all night thinking it was charging, but instead it wore down the battery more than just leaving the phone in standby mode.

So, if you're planning on getting this only for ipod, then yes, it works great. It is small, lightweight, and I love the way the plug folds in for easy travel. If you're hoping to be able to charge other usb devices, forget it... try something else.

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
Another accessory in the line of products for the iPod from Griffin Technology. I am the owner of a few of their previous products and like them for the usefulness, quality and value for the dollar. The PowerBlock is no different. This products purpose is to provide AC power to your iPod. This is useful for me when I am at work and my battery dies. The PowerBlock also comes with a usb to dock connector cable so you can leave the one that comes with the iPod at home connected either to the dock or the computer. Nice bonus because I always seem to leave it at the place I don't need it. I am kind of an iPod junkie by owning a 30G 3G, 512MB shuffle and my newest edition the 60 gb iPod with video. So needless to say I can use a charger at some point. I think it was with the 4G that Apple decided to stop including an AC adapter cause I have the one that came with my 3G. It has a Firewire connector on it. Apple now sells the USB AC Adapter as an accessory to chagrin of many iPod owners myself

Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger for USB Devices
Ipods are power-hungry electronic devices and sometimes it's just unconvenient to charge your Ipod through your PC when you aren't even going to use your computer while it is charging. Thankfully, Griffin made this USB power adaptor for your Ipod that you can just take with you anywhere there isn't a computer to be found. Just plug it into any wall outlet and you're set.

At about $30, it is a bit expensive once you realize that it's such a simple device, but that will pay off once you see how convenient it is. It is also small enough to fit in your pocket and the plug folds for easy storage.

To charge my Ipod through my computer it took nearly 4 hours, and for me thats a bit too long especially when I'm not even going to use my computer. With this it only took about 2 and a half hours and it seems the Ipod battery lasts alot longer when it is charged using this rather than the USB port on my computer. I don't know much about electricity and battery power but I believe it charges faster
