Beautiful Keyboard and Works Great

This keyboard is flawless in design and layout. I has all the keys necessary to work in place of regular apple keyboard. I don't what was wrong with the other reviewers but this keyboard has every key equivalent to a regular apple keyboard. The best part is the dock for ipod, itouch or iphone. The upper controls for volume and eject are all great. I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who wants to free up some space. The adjustible usb connections over the numeric keypad make it easier to connect up your camera or other portable devices. A low profile and very classy design overall!

Great Stereo

Purchased this unit to replace my old one. Chose it for the USB iPod interface. Great unit. Local iPod interface is a bit difficult to use, but holding the MODE button down for a few seconds switches the UI back to the iPod, which is a MUST with teenagers on the boat. Added a USB extension so the kids could plug in behind the drivers seat and change the songs so I can concentrate on driving. Unit has plenty of power, separate sub outputs. One thing I recommend is shortening the 'auto-off' feature so you don't run the boats battery down at night.

Needs Work

I purchased this product yesterday and returned it the following day. The other reviews on Bestbuy.com are misleading. The silver keyboard I purchased is made for a Mac. The problems I encountered were the numeric keys are extremely stiff and hard to push. I use the number pad frequently and am use to barely pressing the key to get a number. This keyboard requires you to push firmly on the pad. The other issue I had was with the volume control. On the standard Mac keyboard you can hold down the volume key to adjust the volume. On this keyboard, which is touch activated, you have to run your finger 4 times over the control. I hope this info is useful.

Misleading on web site

I do not own this yet because I have a PC and Best Buy only stocks the Mac version. I do not know why since more people own a PC.
The PC version is the black one (pictured) and has the windows keys. The Mac version is Silver and has the control and options keys for Mac. The only thing right about this on the web site and weekly flyer is the write up. The one pictured is the wrong one sold. If you check in your local Best Buy store, it is the silver Mac version on the shelf. I wish they would sell the PC versions pictured so I can buy it.

This keyboard is designed for PCs not Macs

I saw this advertised by Best Buy and liked the idea of a dock built into the keyboard. I was disappointed to learn, however, that it appears to be designed for Windows Computers and not Macs. I checked further and there is also a silver version designed specifically for Macs. Unfortunately, based on the Best Buy advertising, it does not appeared to be offered by Best Buy at this time.

Oversight on the Product Design

I find it amusing that the product advertises full Mac compatibility, even under specifications it requires Mac OSX 10.5 with no mention of Windows, and yet, the keyboard includes a Windows key and the Start Menu key, but no Command or Option keys. Seems like a large oversight for something to be touted as a Mac Keyboard.

Great Boat Stereo

This is the third stereo I've had in my boat and I like it. It has lots of features and was very easy to install. Based on the other two stereo's I have used, this one plays cleaner, loader and allows my kids to use their MP3 players. I especially like the ability to put an MP3 CD in and let it play on shuffle for the whole afternoon. Some stereos take awhile to find the next random song, this one does it very quickly which is a big plus. The wireless remote is a nice feature but you have to be facing the stereo. The only drawback is when you change the volume if you accidently push on the volume knob, you go to the setup menu. Just a bit of a nuisance.

Solid marine stereo. IPOD interface could use some work. You have to play with it a little to get used to the interface. Leaving the controls on the IPOD would be much easier.

No problem with iPod touch 2G

I had some initial reservations before purchasing this product, since the description did not mention compatibility with the iPod touch 2G. However, Griffin Technology's site indicated that it was indeed compatible and I went with that.

Another concern was whether or not the cable would support syncing as well as charging, since other products I researched did not offer this capability.

I'm happy to report that this product meets my needs perfectly. I'm able to charge my iPod touch 2G via USB or with the adapter, and the detachable USB cable also works to sync my iPod. I'm very pleased with the product.

Not THAT bad

Before I broke my that thing on my dock cable. And I have many friends who have Ipod shuffle, that have the same problem because they leave the dock cable in the computer but that thing that connects with the shuffle is very fragile and easy to break and this was my second time breaking it. So this helps me because instead of always charging it on the computer and leaving my computer on during the night, I can charge it right by my bedside and I don't have to worry about forgetting the dock cable and stepping on it. The thing I hate about it was when I first got it it was really hard to plug in my ipod shuffle and took probably 10 minutes for me to figure out which way to plug it in without breaking it lol

OK but better out there

Although this product accomplishes its end goal of charging your Ipods, there are simpler an cheaper methods for accomplishing this. First let me review the product: Strengths: - It's Apple white (like anybody cares any more) - The charger itself allows the prongs that insert into the outlet to be folded away for convenience, protection, etc. - You get a spare communications cable that attaches to your Ipod and the computer; so you have a spare - The connector for the charger unit is a basic USB connector so you can use this to charge other USB devices such as those that you connect with a mini-USB connection (cameras, Nintendo DS-Lite, etc.) Weaknesses: - The charger is only the basic USB 2.0 standard amperage. This is a shame because although this may be fine for the Ipod if you wanted to charge other USB devices, this may only represent a trickle amperage and you device will charge slowly. Essentially, it works and its convenient but not perfect. Recommendation: Go to Walmart,  more

Exactly what was needed

I bought this product for my younger brother who suffers from multiple medical problems including autism. He is always asking for music, which use to mean changing a cd every 45 minutes. This product along with the Ipod shuffle is great for both my brother and my parents well-being. The sound is very clear and can go pretty loud. I highly recommend it.

Works like it should

I bought this for my 1st generation iPod Touch and had some doubts as to whether or not it would work based on reviews of other similar products. However, after getting the Griffin charger I have charged the iPod several times with no problems. What's great is that it will charge many of my other devices that require USB in order to charge.

Great Deal

I have wanted a charger and did not want to pay alot for it. This was exactly what was needed and was a great value. I would advise anyone with an iPod to get one. Love mine and will order another as a back up when traveling.

Fake IPOD

The IPOD I oredered from Worldwide Entprises is a complete fake. It was not at all what we ordered at all. There is no way to return or get in touch with this company. Alot of money down the drain.

Not worth the money

It's a nifty little item and I like that they can be plugged in simultaneously for charging. However I expected it to have better sound for the price I paid. It sounds very, very tinny, w/ no bass at all. That would be expected if I'd paid $20 or so, but not for over $50. I would not recommend it.

Power Cord

This charger cord fit my ipod perfectly. The website was easy to navigate and it was easy to find the products that matched my unit. The ordering process was quick and easy. The product was in stock and shipped promptly. It arrived sooner than I expected. I am very pleased with this product and with Overstock.com.

Not so good

I bought this to charge my Ipod. The connection to the Ipod was very difficult to plug in the first few times.
My Power Bug broke after about 100 days. It has a 90 day warranty. I contacted the manufacturer, they said send it in, we'll make a "one time exception" and replace it even though it is out of warranty. I sent it in over a month ago and have not received it back from them. I would purchase a different charger, if I were to buy another one.

Works good

Got this and a refurbished ipod for my sister. Everything was mailed to her address with no problem. iPod and charger works great she says and is very happy!

Great sound for it's size and includes a charger!

I received this as a gift recently. I didn't even know this type of product existed for my Shuffle. The sound is really good and has strong volume for the small zize of the speaker. It easily fits into your bag or pocket for on the go use.

It's great that there is a wall charger included with this product to charge it's rechargeable battery. It also charges your Shuffle if you have it attached. The only downside I notice is that the cover for the Shuffle at the top of the product tends to come off on it's own if you just throw the product in your bag or backpack. It should have some kind of release so that doesn't happen.
