Looks great. Has much better picture than comparable home brands of same size from Best Buy, etc. Replaces a bedroom 13" CRT w/VHS player. Brings in off-the-air analog and digital signals just fine. DVD picture quality is great, too. I've read other reviews which said sound quality was sub-par, but we think it's fine for our purposes. I'd recommend it to a friend.

This is a fantastic TV. Great picture. Very bright. It needs a tilt stand, however. Additionally, the screen is just slightly shy of a true 16:9 size, so you have to use the "wide" setting to fill the screen. The 16:9 setting results in thin black bars on the top and bottom.

this is a great tv. picture and sound exceeded my expectations. some earlier reviews complained about the sound but in my opinion it is very good. white glove delivery service is great. i ordered this tv may 25, 2008. may 26 was memorial day holiday but the tv shipped that day anyway. the delivery service called me the afternoon of may 28, only 2 days later and wanted to deliver the tv the next day. you can't expect any better service than that. i watched the delivery man unload the tv. it was strapped to the side of his box van so it couldn't move or bounce around. he unloaded it on to a 4 wheel dolly and wheeled it right up to my back door, unpacked it and connected it to make sure it was working properly. he even offered to help me put it in my entertainment center but i wasn't ready for that. after ordering the tv the price dropped and i was refunded $148.72 by amazon. this is a great company to deal with. do not be afraid to order this tv from amazon. i saved almost $800.00 from the

The product is excellent and the price is good compared to the rest of the market. All interactions with the seller were good. The men who delivered the product were lazy and impolite and did not live up to the agreement to set up the product or to take away the used carton (which I had received in writing). Finally they took away the carton after much goading from me. This information is provided so that the seller may do future business in this area (in terms of delivery and set up) with a different organization.

We recently purchased a new townhome and I spent a large amount of time researching TVs for our living room's home theater set-up. After much deliberation, I purchased this Samsung 61" A750 DLP. After 3 months of daily usage, we have been very happy with the TV, but there are some issues to be aware of.
Pros:
- Overall picture quality for HD sources (cable or Blu-ray disc) is excellent. The set has life-like colors and a bright picture. Blacks are very dark, even though it only has a 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio. My bedroom set has 30,000:1 CR (a Panasonic PZ85U Plasma), and this Samsung looks almost as good as that for blacks. Keep in mind that black levels are very important as they also affect how vibrant other colors appear.
- The set is very sleek. I really like how thin the bezel is around the set. This isn't your father's projection TV. The Comcast Cable installer actually thought it was a plasma set.
- The large screen size makes for a fantastic home theater experience at

It replaces a 55"CRT RP Mitsubishi that I purchased in March of 2002 with an extended warranty from Sears it started rolling and after 3 new boards and 4 efforts to repair it they offered me up to 2K toward any TV that Sears sells. So I went online and found the Samsung for $2499 so I called the repair center and said I wanted it they called me the next day and said it would cost me $375since Sears had reduced it to $2375 so I gave her my credit card number and Sears delivered it the next day. They brought it in and took out my old one it took me about two hours and it was up and running with the factory settings and looks fabulous. The only problem was I had to go out a buy a TV stand which ran another $300, when I found I could not get the box out of my car called my son and told him my problem, he said OH NO you bought a projection, you should have got a LCD, but he did come over and help his stupid father take the table upstairs and put it together. He then said lets take a look at

I have only had this TV for a few days, so this is not a complete review, but I wanted to warn others about some issues that they may find important.
Picture quality is great - I have not run a calibration or tested various known sources for difficult to reproduce scenes or motion. The blacks are so good that the image color looks over saturated at the factory default setting when placed next to a panel with lower contrast ratio. (It should be kept in mind that the eye has a logarithmic response to light, and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio may not be that much more than a 30,000:1 ratio.) In the store I was comparing this panel to a 46a550 and 46a530 all at their factory default settings. The 550's image was more natural looking at the factory default setting.
Watching SD analog content on digital TVs can be annoying with various artifacts visible in the conversion of the analog signal to the native digital of the TV. This TV does a very respectable job of this - with the SD images mostly

I'm not a TV expert. I bought this TV because it has many good reviews and I am
very happy with this purchase so far.
I only want to emphasize that my purchase from Amazon has been very pleasant.
My delivery was slightly faster than estimated. It was part of the deal that they
delivered and set up the TV, let you examine the TV, made sure the TV work
before they left. If you noticed something wrong with the TV, you could refuse the
shipment.
Amazon is also very good with post price match policy. I noticed that this TV had
a lower price within 30 days of my purchase, so I let the customer service know
and they gave me the refund of the difference with no hassle. I don't know
any other online retailers who do this !.

Wow. This is my first purchase of a flat screen tv and I am blown away! I did a lot of research on others and settled on this, and I'm very pleased.
First off, several have mentioned the red color around the edge... not to worry, its looks very, very nice. Samsung has done a great job of taking a every day product and turned it into a work of art.
The picture quality is excellent, there are plenty of dvi inputs; I have no problem hooking up my AppleTV, PS3 & Direct TV box.
I bought a few blue ray movies (play them in my PS3) and they are amazing! I cant imagine the quality getting better than blue-ray, but who knows. The PS3 games look equally amazing as well, if you play games you'll be blown away playing on this tv.
The only two things that I don't like about the tv are the remote. Its been mentioned here the remote is a little funky, and it is. They tried to implement a iPod style click wheel, but to be honest its pretty lame. The other (also mentioned here) is the white

I decide on the 46z4100S for the following reasons;
a) No glossy screen glare or bezel glare!
b) small bezel, allowing larger screen on wall space
c) 3" depth on "in-wall mount"
d) 1080P/120HZ/motion control
The Picture Quality is so crystal clear......... just great! Bright, vivid colors are awesome! There are so many features and very easy to set-up.
My wife loves the brushed metal and says, "it doesn't have glare, doesn't look like those 'black plastic' frames". She's candid(LOL) and loves the amazing PQ, when watching her baseball games.
I'm using an in-wall mount and the 3" depth makes it look like a picture on the wall. The "46Z" is perfect from a viewing distance of 9-11 ft. Friends all love it!
I'm still making the viewing adjustment from a 27"CRT floor console. My eyes do more tracking on this larger screen.

Bought it from Amazon and got it via CEVA in 5 days (could have been shorter as it was shipped from a warehouse just 500 miles from where I live :) I almost bought the 32LZ800 for almost the same price but decided to get this due to the matte screen, I dont like the glossy screens. Also I got a Panasonic due to the IPS panel instead of the PVA variants from most other vendors. Look at all the sets at a 45 deg angle before you decide :)
Razor sharp pictures through a PS3, SDTV is not bad (after reducing the sharpness etc), no VGA input, adequate sound (though could have been a little louder).
The factory default settings are not great but it can be tuned to display pleasing results. For a 2008 TV, I am unhappy that there isnt a separate RGB control.
Overall its a good purchase. If you need a no-frills panel, this is a good choice, given that it was the cheapest 37" TV from Amazon when I bought it.

Ok well this is my first review of anything here so off we go.... I purchased this TV a few weeks back and could not be happier. This is the first HD TV I have ever purchased so I did a lot of reading up on what is hit and miss. Big Hit! For a smaller living room, which we have it is perfect. I am hooked up to Suddenlink HD cable, getting Direct TV soon, a Panasonic up convert DVD player and my PS3. Amazing picture and a great value as well. I was on the fence at first but I tore that fence down and this TV is here to stay. Very user friendly, 3 HDMI inputs make connection a snap. Audio is typical for a TV but I have mine running through an Onkyo home theater receiver, so the marks are pretty good. I was really surprised how well SD channels looked; you know the difference but they looked just as good, even better that my old tube set. Watched "Night at the Museum" on Blu-ray and it was like the picture was so lifelike all my wife kept saying was "WOW" and I would have to agree. Also comes

Samsung LN46A750 46-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color
Without a question this is a great TV.
However a significant major design flaw is very distracting.
The edge is a 3/8" thick x 3" glass frame and light is transmitted from the inside out through the glass (edge piece). Imagine seeing an aura around the TV on the outside edge where there is clear 1/4" clear class bezel. I have proven this being the problem by masking the inside edge with black electrical tape, which blocks the light transmission.
I which I could attach some pictures. I placed a service call with Samsung and pictures were sent to them. There response was that this effect was by design. Indeed flawly designed. This effect is more pronounced at night or in a dark room, or when located in an entertainment center.

Purchased LN52A650 from Circuit City and returned it for LN52A550 from Amazon. Since my purchase from Amazon, the price dropped twice and I requested adjustment and received credit for the difference totaling $102. Amazon has a great price and excellent customer service.
As far as the TV is concerned, it is absolutely amazing. I'm watching Euro 2008 Italy vs. Spain as I type this and the picture quality is stunning. After experiencing both TVs, there isn't that much of a difference in picture quality between the A550 and the A650 model. In fact, I would say they are equal. The A550 model has less reflection compared to the A650 model. This was one of the reasons why I decided to go with the A550 model (The other reason being the price). The sound quality was horrible when arrived but after adjusting it with the setting recommended in this thread it made a big difference. It is not the best sounding TV out there but it is more than adequate.

Consumer Reports gives this model the top score for 37" models. Their retail price is listed at $1400. I'd rather buy products from Amazon than third-parties offering lower prices because I trust Amazon to resolve any product or shipping problems that might occur.

I purchased my Samsung LN46A550 through Amazon .com . I have had this tv going on 4 weeks now with no problems. I did a lot of researching before I bought this tv. And I can tell you that I couldn't be more happier with this tv. The picture is very sharp and crisp with very nice black levels. Colors are vibriant but very natual looking. Picture quality is superb on HD content , even on SD content it was impressive. This tv does very well in a well lit room, the anti-glare screen makes a difference. This tv has a ( 5ms ) response time and I find it to be just as good as one with a 120hz automotion. Because of the high contrast ratio ( 30,000:1 ), sports and movies with fast action don't slow the picture down. Samsung has done a great job with this model. Setup was easy to do with the easy to follow directions. The on screen menu is very user friendly. I would have to say the only drawback to this tv is the sound, but you can improve the sound to be very adequate by making the adjustments

I found the buying experience through Amazon's authorized retailer to be great. I was a bit nervous about spending such a large amount of money with a retailer I knew nothing about but the transaction was perfect. As for the TV. I don't know much about the tech side but the picture quality is outstanding. I did start out with the analog cable but upgraded to digital 1080p and found the money is well worth it. The TV needs to be fed the high quality signal to perform at its best.

The 46PZ800U is everything I was hoping for in a HDTV. Beautiful picture, easy to hook things up to, and a great looking addition to my living room. The size was perfect for a long narrow room (17x11.5). The CEVA delivery people assembled the stand and then placed it in its permanent location, had me connect my HD cable box to it. (yes I was excited about getting the TV. Got the HD cable box 2 days ahead of time, Blu-ray player and HD dvd player were sitting here waiting along with the cables to hook them up)We tested the TV and then when everything was working they asked for my signature. Overall the whole experience was great and I would reccomend Amazon as a Wonderful way to get a new Panasonic TV. PS price on Amazon was over $300. better than any other price I saw for this model.either in store circulars or on-line. Last, I chose this model mainly because of the over 5000 gradients of color, the single sheet of glass construction, and the THX certification.

I Just got the Samsung LN52A650 52 inch television. I was astounded by the burst of sharp colors and sound. Layman instructions and picture guides made the set up a pleasure and easy. Though, the three weeks wait for the set was frustating and cruel ( basketball playoffs)and tracking the purchase was no help, it was worth the wait. Make certain that manufacture and merchent warrenties are also shiped with the set.

This was my first LCD TV purchase; I bought it after being quite impressed with the picture on the floor model at Best Buy, and nearly blown away by the clarity of the sound coming out of the speakers. (The latter was an important factor for me, because I don't want to invest in a home theater sound system just yet.) After three weeks, it hasn't disappointed at all. HD cable programming looks great, my Xbox 360 (via HDMI cable) looks and plays fantastically, and I'm somehow even getting a decent picture out of my old crappy DVD player. Standard definition cable programming is hit and miss; some channels look a lot better than others, for reasons I'm unsure of, although even the worse ones are certainly not bad enough to stop me from watching and enjoying them too. The sound is indeed amazing; I can turn down the volume to near-minimal levels and still hear everything that's happening on-screen (speech, music, and ambient noises).
I'll note that there are three HDMI inputs, not two
