Philips 19-Inch Widescreen LCD TV with HD Tuner (Refurb)
Just unpacked my Phillips 19 inch LCD TV yesterday and we have watched it ever since, neglecting the poor old Toshiba in the rec room! It is just what I wanted, small and light, perched on a small table in the living room, and has a beautiful picture and excellent sound. No surprise is the best surprise! That's what I expect from Overstock.com and what I got again this time.

Panasonic TC-26LX85 26" Class Widescreen VIERA 720p HDTV LCD
I got this TV, mostly because it was a name brand and cheaper than most. I really like all the ports and I was willing to go with a 720 rather than a 1080 out of pricing. for a simple high def TV, this is really nice, I play alot of games and watch even more movies, so my old CRT wasnt going to cut it anymore. A few things I found to grip about(isnt that why we all read these things anyways?, lol)
1. the speakers broadcast most of the sound BEHIND the TV, now my games sound OK, but movies lose a bit. I would recomend using a stereo or alternate device to broadcast your sound.

2. I would have liked more than one S-Video port, I use alot of devices, and don't want to go out and get a componant cable just to have the DVD player and games at the same time with out loss of signal.

and 3. It was kinda wierd to find the buttons are not on the front of the TV, so that can make changing channels ackward if you lose your remote, and your TV is against something, not something that effects

Sharp LC32D44U Aquos 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
This Sharp Aquos rocks. It is my first flat sceeen and I could not be happier. Picture quality smokes my prior tv, and the sound is really good as well < sound didn't matter to me much as I use a receiver for surround sound most of the time. There are plenty of hook ups including two HDMI inputs. The remote is easy to use too. The only complaint I had was that the thing did not fit in my existing entertainment center LOL ....NO worries, the center needed replaced anyway....

Have a great day!

Panasonic 42" 720p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV
This TV has a very good quality picture and excellent sound. I have a Samsung 5.1 surround sound system but for ordinary television viewing, the Panasonic TV sounds as good as the sound system. Panasonic is a great, reliable brand when it comes to plasmas. And if you're concerned about plasma burn-in, don't be. I did lots of research before this purchase and the consensus is that burn-in is NOT an issue with modern plasmas such as this one. I've had absolutely no burn-in issues since buying this plasma. I definitely recommend this product, but I give four stars because I generally reserve five-stars for products that are really one-of-a-kind.

KDL-26M4000/T 26" 16:9 BRAVIA LCD 720p TV (Tan), HDMI x 2, PC Input, PIP with Computer/TV Source, NTSC/ATSC/QAM Tuners
The Sony Bravia KDL-26M4000 is by far the best Sony TV I have ever purchased. The picture quality is unbelieveable. Although this tv is a
HDLCD, I don't have HD service but the picture is just like HD with just a cable hook-up. I highly recommend this model.

LG 42" Class 720p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV
After the price dropped on this T.V. I decided to buy.
Wary of plasmas I still loved the high contrast ratio that this one delivered. I had the choice between this and a similar samsung and definately could see that this Lg model gave the better picture. 720p? they could have fooled me because the crispness of picture quality is terrific, one thing I was wary of with this being a 42" model.
The Darks are dark, the whites are white, and the colors are vibrant.
I keep mine set on cinema style settings and love it.
The sound is better than most flat panels and the speakers are hidden.
I like the high gloss finish, makes it look sleek.
Ghosting is minimal on this model and if you do experience some ghosting they supply different ISM methods to basically prevent or actually one called white wash which basically resets your picture. I play a lot of Xbox 360 so I was worried about the ghosting but it is not really a problem. I recently paired this with LG's LHT854 home theatre system (about $220)

Toshiba 19" 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I got this television today and as soon as I turned it on noticed how terrible it sounded. The picture was great, but I couldn't get around the tinny sound that made to tv seem loud no matter how I lowered the volume. I tried manipulating and could not find a decent setting. It's the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I generally like Toshiba products so I was very disappointed with this television and am sending it back tomorrow morning. If you care at all about how your television sounds, do not buy this TV.

Panasonic 32" Class 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Panasonic has been making awesome TV's for decades and their flat panel technology is every bit as competitive as their tube TVs were. The picture is clear and sharp and set up was a breeze. Unlike some Panasonic remote controls of years past this one is sensibly laid out with good size keys and clearly marked functions. I especially like the "format" key that allows you to set standard resolution pictures to the 4:3 format, while leaving Hi-Def stations in full screen mode.

I saved several hundred dollars over local prices in an area where Best Buy, Circuit City and the big department stores are going at it hammer and tongs for market share. The delivery was on time and overall, the service was first rate.

The only reason I'm rating the product 4 stars is that it's a 720 versus 1080 dpi and the speakers are not great, but hookup to my home theater system made that a non-issue. However, when it comes to bang for the buck value, this was a five star deal all the way!

I knew what

Samsung 32" 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Well I've used Amazon.com on many occasions to check reviews on various products, so I thought that I would add to the reviews on this Samsung TV. I did quite a bit of shopping around before I made the decision to buy the LN32A450 model. Do not have a large living room, so this size (32") was fine for me. I had narrowed the purchase choice down to a Toshiba set or a Samsung. 1080 or 720? Don't think that it makes much difference in this size of a set. For my untrained eye, the less expensive 720 was the right choice. Earlier in the year, I felt that either the Samsung or the Toshiba would be satisfactory. When the new 450 model arrived on the scene, I swung to the Samsung. What's nice about it?? THE PICTURE.. THE PICTURE... THE PICTURE. Looks GREAT!! Was a bit concerned about ordering a flat panel TV from an Internet store and having it shipped to me, but it arrived with no signs of damage. Was packaged very well. Fairly easy to assemble and no problem with the on screen setup. Use an over

Samsung LN22A650 22-inch LCD TV-Samsung LN22A650 22 LCD TV
I applaude the first evaluator for his detailed comments. He is accurate in his description and his accolades fully accentuate the quality of this little gem. At 22" and 720p you could not ask for more other than a slightly larger screen at a slightly larger price. When I compare this picture with the same model 40" there is no difference other than the size. I do not know the pixel pitch of either TV; however, the normal sighted viewer cannot tell any difference in picture quality even though the 40" is 1080p vs 720p. This TV makes the perfect companion for working on a computer and viewing the TV next to it. Any TV can be torn to pieces for this reason and that but for the money and size this is going to be hard to beat. One item that I might find fault with is the potential cost imputed in the TV for the Touch of Color. That is a waste of money for me and could be omitted in other models if the cost of the addition is eliminated as well. Unlike the 40", I had little or no problem

Panasonic 50" 720p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV
This is my 3rd flat panel tv, and by far the best in terms of picture clarity and features.

I have no complaints. The picture is vivid, crisp, and satisfying.

There are plenty of hdmi, component, and other inputs so no worries there. And they all work, unlike my westinghouse unit. The unit was easy to assemble (4 screws to the base) the online menus are easy to use, and the price here at amazon was better than at any store. Free delivery and no sales tax were a bonus.

I don't use blueray discs so 720p is fine. The $400 premium for 1080p wasn't worth it to me.

Hint: Use a premium credit card that doubles the warranty from 1 year to 2. Panasonic warranty service is in-home or mail in, your choice.

Very pleased with this tv so far.

This unit was easy to set up and we liked design, features and picture quality. However, the DVD would not eject. Only after tilting the unit into a horizontal position. We will have to call for warranty service, lets see how this goes...

Panasonic 42" 720p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV
This entry level Panny plasma is just what I needed for my bedroom wall - and without the extra cost of upper tier units. I think the price is right at $799 with free shipping. Awesome. I was also able to find a smokin price on the extended warranty from DTVExpress/XpreServ - which has a great rating and gaurantee. As far as the TV goes the black levels are incredible as well as color and there is a discernable difference in the brightness level from past Panasonic plasma models. Since I dont watch much TV during daytime in my bedroom, ambient light is not an issue so plasma is the obvious choice (better picture than LCD). The one drawback I've noticed is a slight moire' pattern in stairs, blinds or verticle/horizontal lines. It's a challenge for all TVs so tihs is not surprising but it's something I can help but notice.

Samsung LN22A650 22-inch LCD TV-Samsung LN22A650 22 LCD TV
I'm very pleased with this TV, Yes, I did take some time setting it up and adjusting the
picture but it was well worth seeing the difference. With out a cable box I was able to
tune many of the HD channels I get on my other cable box feed TV's. I mounted it on
the wall with a mount I already had and I was glad to see everything matched up to the
wall mount! The speakers are on the weak side but plenty loud enough for me, I'm going
to run a line to my Cambridge Sound table Radio to get the full advantage of the sound
but could live with it as-is. I really like the touch sensitive switches on the front of the TV,
Makes for a clean cool looking TV, even when turned off. For $399 you should go for this
one over the 330 or 450, this is the top of the line 22' Samsung as of today.

Samsung LN22A650 22-inch LCD TV-Samsung LN22A650 22 LCD TV
I have had this 720p LCD for about a week now and these are my initial impressions.
Pros:
- Excellent picture via Cox cable HD channels
- SD video is actually pretty good
- computer hook-up via HDMI is impressive (Good second monitor for laptops)
- picture via Panasonic upconverting DVD is superb
Cons:
- only one HDMI and one component connection
Neither:
- Sound is average, but this TV is only 22"
It is for a small bedroom, office, or kitchen. Maybe as a computer monitor or to play PS3/Xbox while watching TV.

Overall I like it for a HDTV in my office and as a second monitor for my Toshiba laptop.
As far as settings, I like "Standard" with the backlight at 8 and cool2. The rest of the settings can be adjusted (contrast, sharpness, color, etc,) but I like the default with only the above changes.

For DVD, I recommend "Movie" mode and warm2(default).

Nice job once again SAMSUNG. Quality product at a fair price.
Oh and I love you Amazon even though I am upset about you getting rid of

Sharp 19" Class 720p Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV/DVD Combo
We purchased this TV to take camping for my special needs daughter. We run it off of a generator and it helps her when she gets stressed out. It is compact enough to transport and yet big enough that the picture quality is great. The DVD players works fine and was very easy to operate.

Samsung 22" 720p Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I'll preface by saying I'm not a serious A/V person, I'm not up to speed on the latest and greatest technology - just a layman. My old CRT TV died, and I needed a new one. Wanted LCD for the lower power consumption and since nearly all of them are HD ready I wanted that too. From what I read, Samsung has the best LCD panels out there. The image on this one is extremely good, though in my opinion I wouldn't say excellent. At times it seems to blur momentarily. Colors are well represented. The features of the TV are nice, not much more than you'd find with older CRT though. This unit is very light weight and easily mounted to a wall. It doesn't get hot when on, which is nice. The remote is weird in its layout of the buttons. I guess it's a subjective thing, but the channel and volume up/down buttons are at the bottom of the remote, not the top and that's really annoying to me. Good thing I was able to get a universal to use with my cable box and DVD player. While I would otherwise give it

Samsung 32" 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
By the time you pay sales tax on the lesser brands, you are within $50 of this Samsung model on Amazon. I had two of the box store brands in my possession prior to the Samsung long enough to make an evaluation. This is an excellent HDTV. From picture clarity to sound to hook-ups to menus to remote to classy looks, the Samsung is clearly superior in every way. Unless the $50 or so difference is critical to feeding the family, don't settle for less.

Samsung 22" 720p Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I searched for months for a 26 inch HDTV that I thought would be compatible for my bedroom use. I was going to purchase the Sony 26" for $899.00, but when I saw this Samsung 22" for less than $500.00, I held my breath and ordered it. The reviews were very good as well. So I must tell you that I am "pleasantly surprised" with my purchase. The picture is awesome and the sound is not as bad as some have stated. I set it up in no time and it looks great (as pictured) in my bedroom.

Sylvania LC195SL9 19 LCD TV - 19 - ATSC, NTSC - 170 Horizontal / 170 Vertical - 1366 x 768 - HDTV
I bought this product last week. I wanted a name brand, and this was the best deal. Some sets this size and price don't have HDMI, or have only one input. The picture is fine I don't have a problem with the sound- it's what you expect from small speakers.

I got this to replace a small CRT. There are 2 HDMI inputs, plus the 5 wire color-coded input from a cable box, which is what I'm using. Add to that analog PC input, S-video, RCA and audio input from a PC. If you want to use this as a computer monitor, be aware the screen does not tilt.

This would be a good TV for a dorm room, which is where it may end up if my daughter gets her hands on it!
