We purchased 2 flatscreens due the amazing value - unmatched anywhere else. We find them easy to use and great picture. We watch alot of movies and the built in DVD was a must. It is easy to use. We love our televisions.

My complaint is with the basic functions of this TV. Why put the manual buttons on the top of the TV? Why no channel return on the remote? When you power on the TV. You stare at a black screen for 10 full seconds then a message comes on that says "please wait" along with spinning arrow as if it is thinking about whether there is a dvd in the player or not. I haven't even tried that. Sharp missed the mark on this one. It's going back-- .

No problem to set up, worked without any trouble. The picture is good and the sound is fine. Great deal for a secondary TV. Just hope it keeps working!

This is a good all around HDTV in the 26" size-range that I had to have for my smallish entertainment cabinet. The DTV & HDTV picture quality (via Comcast Cable "out of the wall" no set-top box) is very good, particularly for the price.
My only BIG disappointment was the audio output options; the ONLY one available is a Digital Audio coaxial output. Since I'm using this as my primary TV, connected to a Home Theater system for improved audio, this is a major CON for me. The only way I can output analog audio is to route everything thru a clunky Cable set-top box (which I didn't otherwise want or need) that DOES have an analog output. Then I discovered that changing from "out of the wall" cable to the basic cable set-top box automatically converts all previously available digital TV signals back to analog!! Since I'm not willing to add to my already sky-high monthly cable bill to upgrade to all-HDTV programing & set-top box, I'll be moving this TV to a bedroom (where the TV speakers

First of all I would like to say that my wife and I researched this company and seemed to be impressed by its website. It was very hard to find any reviews written on this company and to this date this is the only one I know of. The picture quality is good and the sound is average. On arrival of the tv the remote, power cord, and manual was missing. OverStock really did a incredible job getting the missing parts to us because we couldn't watch a movie on it until we had the remote. Universal remotes are not Pyle friendly. When we received all of the parts the first time we watched a movie the DVD player skipped. Now the disc was slightly scratched but no more than an average DVD. When I ejected the DVD and played through our X Box, the slightly scratched disc played perfectly. Overall the DVD player was horrible. We returned the tv and will never buy or think about buying a PYLE product ever again. Also Pyle did not have any instructions on how to remove the tv base stand which I had to

This unit was easy to set up and we liked design, features and picture quality. However, the DVD would not eject. Only after tilting the unit into a horizontal position. We will have to call for warranty service, lets see how this goes...

After a few weeks of limited use (bedroom TV);
Picture is great. Sound is ok for smaller, quiet room. Remote is not the best: no channel return button to go back and forth. Lag time when switching channels is a bit too long for my liking. DVD works and plays well. Very convenient.

I got this as an upgrade from a terrible, bulky, old 19-inch tv that screeched at me. I think it is has really nice audio and video quality, and I love the built in DVD player, which upconverts my old disks. The SD card slot is also really cool, although I have not really used it yet. Overall it is a great tv for someone like myself, who is not a techie and doesn

This tv is a good value for the price. The audio is a little low and varies by station. The picture quality is good. The instruction manual wasn't as helpful as I expected. It took a little trial and error to set up. That was the worst part. Overall, I would recommend this tv and would buy it again.

This is overall a great TV for the money. But when you change channels it takes about 3 seconds to tune in. This can be annoying if you like to channel surf

I read all the reviews and decided to order the 26 inch for my home office. I will have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture. We have been looking for a while and this set stands up to a lot of the big names. The DVD works good and I love the memory card slot. The set came a day earlier than it was sc heduled to. Another good product from Overstock. The only problem I had was programing some of the chanels. .Could have easier instructions or it could have been the one doing the programing.

This is an awesome TV for my uses. It's the perfect size for my bedroom now, and for my dorm room in a few weeks. The picture quality is amazing when being used with my 360 or with DVDs. Like most of the other reviewers, the weak speakers are my only minor complaint after a little more than a month of use. For the size, price, and quality, this TV is perfect.

This TV was purchased for a bedroom. Overall the TV is all I expected and fairly easy to use. The quality for under $500 is above average and well worth the price for a second TV.

The set is everything I could have anticipated. I'm very pleased with the on screen menu and many options it provides with simple instructions.Set-up was simple and straight forward.

It was a difficult choice between this LCD and the Sony KDL 26M4000. I finally choose the Samsung because the colors were a bit more vibrant and the contrast was better (the TV will be used in a bright, sunny room). Also, the Samsung allows for more picture fine-tuning, if you are so inclined. Lastly, the Samsung was a bit cheaper in price and, at the time I ordered it, was available through Amazon. As usual, Amazon's service was outstanding. Amazon also allowed for a price match after I purchased it, since the price had dropped.

I chose this unit after months of research seeking the perfect pair for my PS3. I considered Vizio, Sharp, and Sony, but decided in the end that the Samsung had the most features and best connectivity. I am a college student so a larger screen size would not be useful for my needs. I use it in the apartment and my bedroom at home.
This tv is only listed as 1080i but the ps3 supposedly runs in 1080p mode when connected and Blu-Rays play in 1280x1080 @ 24Hz which is the default 1080p setting. This was a fantastic surprise. They say you cannot tell the difference between 1080p and 1080i but next to my roommates Sharp which is only at 1080i, the difference is noticeable. Colors are wonderful. HD really pops. Standard definition looks much better than my roommates Sharp.
The digital tuner also decodes the digital channels on my cable so I can get local channels in HD at no extra cost.
Overall this was one of the best purchases I made. Plenty of connectivity options will leave

We bought this for our main TV. We do not watch a lot of TV and are not interested in having our TV as a focal point in the room. Also, we wanted a set that would double as our computer monitor. This TV is great for what we wanted.
You'll need additional speakers to improve the sound, but I think that's true for any TV.
Also, it does not come with a universal remote.

I just ordered alot of items from Amazon recently, so all my reviews will start the same, just with different sellers of course:
Amazon & 6av gets 5 stars for extremely fast regular/standard shipping!! Was supposed to come June 30 - July 3; I ordered this on the June 24th, it arrived June 26th!!
Its 720p, 8ms response. What more do u want from it? It take a few seconds
when changing sources. Im not in a hurry so thats not a problem for me. Connected my Comcast cable HD DVR, PS3 to it with no problems. I experimented with composite and HDMI connections. (all I had on me) Anyone who reviews a hdtv, please use component or hdmi; then rate the PQ n audio. Thanks. If u rate it based on connecting the cable-in rf directly to the tv, keep that in mind when reviewing it and rate accordingly to the connection u use.
Speakers is good. I missed my 46" 46A550 delivery cuz I had the 26" turned up. Easy as pie to install base and program TV. Light, u dont need help moving this or installing base.

wow, what a bad set for me. I have a (very nice) wall mount (an omnimount) and the set is mounted about 6' off the floor on an equipment rack. Goal being, swivel one way to face my workspace, swivel another way to face the sofa. So far, so good. There's about a 15 degree difference between the line of sight from the workstation to the set and the sofa to the set.
Each time I move, I have to readjust the angle, so that the black pixels kind of lose their blue sheen. In a set with a nominal 160 degree or so front view, I was NOT expecting huge color artifacts from a relatively small change in vertical angle.
This artifact is one to look carefully for in stores before you buy. Viewed straight on, the Samsung and the Sony Bravia are comparable (and they're all so overtuned at the store, the colors mean less than the distortion.) Get below the sets and look up, though. The Samsung will look very blue across the black. Pronounced and ugly.
If the Samsung will wind up being floor
