This isn't a bad TV. I paid $380 for it brand new. The TV does take a bit longer than normal to change channels, but the video (head-on) is very crisp. Of course, from side angle, it is not the greatest, but I have it in the basement (game table, workout gym, lounge area) and it is on a swivel arm, so I can swing it around based on activity I am working on.
Contrary to other reviews, I've had no complaints so far. Then again, I've only had it 2 weeks, but its a beautiful TV, great picture using HDMI cable, decent size 26" screen, the audio I've connected to my basement wall-mounted speakers...I'm VERY pleased!

WARNING! If you want to be forced to watch stretched (distorted) image, (with a few exceptions of some HD digital channels), this ViewSonic model is the right TV set for you!
The two tuners on this HDTV receive both digital (w/ or w/o HD), and analog channels. When tuning to the analog and to some of the digital non-HD channels, the originally broadcasted 4x3 images are stretched to fully cover the wide screen size of 16x9 ratio of this HDTV set. This "linear image distortion" causes people to look fat and the overall image very unpleasant to watch.
After going through the manual, I could not find any setting selection to correct this problem. (Some LCD HDTVs have setting options like "STRETCH", ZOOM, SIDE BARS, etc., but not this one).
I called ViewSonic customer service, and, after being on hold for 15 minutes, I was told that "this is normal" and "there are no settings to correct this problem", and then the call was somehow disconnected (did they hang up on me? I don't know!).

Although this TV was remanufactured, I received it in perfect condition. The picture is great, although the stereo speakers sound a little...."tinny." But that's definitely to be expected from any TV. I also checked the price of this model at a major discount retailer and found that I saved about $200 over a new one. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I am very pleased with the purchase price, the TV set, and the delivery. I could not have asked for more. I would recommend this set to anyone especially for the great value. I think the HDTV picture is excellent. I was amazed the delivery came from Ca. to Pa. in 5 days. Couldn't ask for more.

I purchased SK-26H240S 26 inches LCD TV last week and it seems to be good TV at a bargain price. I have gone through the critical reviews posted by various people and found the the issue of lip synchronization is not true. Along with this TV I purchased a Polaroid double screen 7" DVD player (comes with connecting AV and other cables) and connected the same to watch the graet action movie- The Troy. What a great viewing it was! Every thing was perfect. So guys hook up a good DVD player and watch the performance of the Westinghouse LCDTV at a low price.

I have owned a Viewsonic Television for 11 months now and it has been in repair for about 5 of those. Customer service is atrocious. They have sent me 2 replacements, one of which quit working the same day I put it in. Now they won't send me a replacement until I give them a credit card number. After all the times I was told that they would call me back and never did I will not trust them with any more personal information. At this point I am reporting them to the better business bureau in hopes that they can get some response from this awful company. If you ever buy one of these, I hope you never have to deal with customer service because they will not treat you well nor in a timely manner.

There is an audio sync issue when using a set up box with component cables. When I switched to use the RF in from the cable, it did not show the audio sync issue, but that means no HBO or digital cable for the most part. The second issue is: after 4 days and watching the TV for hours I turn it on for 3 minutes and the TV just turns itself off. I hit the power button and see the blue LED on the front glow for 1 sec then off. I hold the power button on the side down, and the blue power led blinks once a second and I hear a click, but no picture. I wait 5 minutes, comeback and it works fine. I figured it was a one time thing. I watch TV for 15 more minutes, and it just resets, and the picture comes on after 15 seconds or so. Luckily I bought it from Costco, which has a great return policy, I just want my money back, I don't want another one after reading these reviews. If you can get a working model and the A/V sync doesn't bother you I did like the user interface, and it was real easy to
