I have a 10" subwoofer that sounded pretty good with my stock stereo. When this new stereo was hooked up to it, my subwoofer sounded 10x better. The sound quality with my ipod plugged into the front usb port sounds crisp, clear, clean, and my subwoofer slapps hard!!! The stereo was not that expensive either. There is not one thing that is bad about this stereo. Everything about this stereo is perfect. If you love to slapp your music loud enough for everyone to here it, then this is the perfect stereo for you. If you have a subwoofer of any size, this stereo brings out the true quality in it and you will never be dissapointed. If you are looking for a brand new stereo for your car, truck, suv, anything, this is the one to buy without a doubt.

I loved this thing at first, but for the past few weeks when I plug in the USB cable, the unit turns off. I thought maybe it was a USB issue, but then I pushed on the front of the unit, and had the same problem. It's still under warranty, but it will probably be a pain to replace. It may just be a quirk with my particular unit. We'll see.

Geek squad installed unit in 15 minutes. Thanks to Natasha at BB in Emeryville,Ca. Already had speakers in the car. Downloaded some music onto an SD card, and played it through a thumb drive via USB. Worked great. Plugged in an I pod nano via usb. Worked great. Plugged in a Creative Zen via the 3.5 mm aux in. Worked great. It even works with i Phones too. It has preset EQ settings which is handy if you do not want to "custom" set your EQ manually. Kenwood really did a nice job of figuring out what their customers want. Most people now have MP3 players, ipods, and music stored on their computers. Instead of lugging around all of your CD's, just plug in your i pod, i phone or mp3 player and your have hours of music and do not need to change a CD. Oh yeah, I have not even inserted a CD into this unit yet...But it is there if I need it. Sound quality is very nice...What can i say? Reviews are meant to influence your purchase decision...get this one...it has everything you need, and nothing

Stereo was a birthday gift for a friend, he loves it and now he can listen to his books on tape that he downloaded to his iPod touch. You just plug it in! Awesome!

This deck is amazing for optimal sound quality your speakers can handle. The equalizer uses Bands instead of calling it Bass, Mids, and Trebles and can set it up so speakers are getting the exact gain and power they need or can use. You can tell it what kind of vehical you are in and even specify how far apart the speakers and subwoofers are from eachother. The sound options just go on but you will need to do some research first if you don't know how alot about sound terms and such to set it up perfectly.
Since the previous model they added a alphabetical search for your ipod so you dont have to scroll none stop to get down to the Z's or such and even added an option so you can scroll on your ipod and select songs instead of using the deck to scroll through it, which not many decks have. This deck seriously was worth every penny and is worth doing ten minutes of research on terms and such to set it up. It will be very very worth while.

This is a great in-dash dvd player. It's easy to use and I would definitley recommend it. I've had it for about 3 months and it's one of the best purchases i've ever made. The only problem i've had is when it's very sunny out, it can be hard to see the screen. It does have a feature that allows you to tilt the screen to certain angles which helps a little. All in all, i'm very satisfied.

Overall this radio is good...but I am returning it today. Quite simply I am disapointed with the sound quality of HD radio. And yes the radio was wired correctly...also I am an established fulltime sound engineer...so I have a sensitive ear. If this radio would allow me to shut the HD off all the time I would keep it. But to shut the HD off and go back to analog you have to toggle thru a few layers of menus to do so...and then if you change the channel...it goes right back to HD. Here's the deal with HD, it's a data stream...1 data stream per station. The more more HD channels a station has, the more the bandwidth gets divided up, thus more compression and more quality loss. CD like quality "as advertised" is only possible if a station has only 1 HD channel. Most of the stations in my market have 2 or more and the sound quality is less than a 128k mp3. It's rather easy to hear the issue during talk sets. There's this glassy, scratchy, pins & needles essy kind of thing in the vocal range...and

I have gone on a few lengthy trips in the two months I've owned the AVIC-Z110BT and couldn't be happier. If the price isn't an issue for you - I highly recommend.

This radio was installed by the Geek Squad. Took about 2 hours to remove the old stock unit and install this one. Controls take a while to figure out but it comes with a handy remote. Sound is good but you have to adjust the settings; the stock settings make the music sound very flat. The CD player and FM radio sound good but my favorite feature is the ability to connect your iPod via USB to the front of the deck. You can still skip, shuffle, and play multiple playlists through Pioneers radio controls. Very nice. The faceplate comes off to avoid theft but there's no case to put it in like years ago....
All in all a good buy for the price.

I was looking for a replacement for my Dodge Caravan's anemic factory head unit. I'd just gotten the van (previously drove a car with an Alpine unit and amp + 12" sub in the trunk), and was looking for a unit that could handle MP3 and USB.
Best Buy installed the unit quickly and with no issues.
The controls are a bit awkward at first, but the EQ and tuning features are awesome. I was able to set the unit up for the cabin type (in my case "minivan") as well as fine-tune stuff like the distance between front and rear speakers, adjust the built-in crossover, and change presets for the EQ for the music style.
All in all even with the Koss speakers that came with the van, the playback of music I've has been comparable to my previous setup with aftermarket speakers, amp and sub (minus the bass of course, but not a huge loss). The EQ really brings the music to life and compensates for a lot of the quality issues with the various MP3 music I come across.

The Sennheiser HD 238's are very stylish. They look great. They are very comfortable. I don't feel this is the right headphone for MP3 players. Sound seems to be lost and warmed over. I have compared these headphones to another set that I own and the Sennheisers fall way short in the very area that they use for marketing... power. I'm not sure about this but, it may be due to the drivers used. MP3 players are not powerful enough to push the drivers, magnets, diaphragms in the headphone itself. I had a similar issue when connecting to very expensive headphones ($300-$400 range). I connected the Sennheisers to my home stereo using a plug adapter and the sound was wonderful. The tones were nicely balanced. To sum this all up, these are nice headphones better suited for a home stereo that can deliver more power to them.

Ok system has poor audio section, caused engine noise in amplified system that wasnt present before, POI's are worthless, unless you have address. After updating with sd card POi's the unit would not connect via bluetooth untill you removed faceplate adn reset it, then it would work for that power on session. The time can only be seen on gps screen, you cant do IPOD video or input any video at all. I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone and Mine is being removed as soon as the K/W with garmin gps gets here. Absolutely worthless unit even for the price.....

Great Deck if you looking to use your iphone 3gs in the car this is a great deck. Bluetooth works well and the usb port alowls you to connect your iphone cable to the back of the radio and it charges your phone along giving you the option to either control playlist through radio or through phone. There is a sound retrieval option which gives your mp3's more body and the sound quality i think is good with factory speakers.

I love the radio. I bought this radio for my wife, so she wouldn't have to fiddle with her phone while driving. It was easy to install, setup, and use. If my wife can use it, anybody can use it. :) We were so pleased with the radio, I went out and bought one for my truck. The price is great. I originally was looking for one of those bluetooth adapters, but those things are around $100. to heck with that, give me the new radio! Plus my wife would not be happy with extra gadgets in her car.
The sound quality (for the microphone) is good. Maybe not great. but, we don't get on the phone in the car to have long conversations. We say what we need to and get off. Neither my wife nor I have any trouble with hearing each other, but you do have to turn it up just a little.
I highly recommend this product!

great sound, works great with ipods and iphone, charges the iphone too!! Others mentioned problem with AM We have had no problems Maybe the antenna wasn't installed correctly. In fact, we get the HD of some of the AM stations. HD is good . USB is much better than the aux input . Presets are a pain till you learn how to use them. Have had several friends purchase one after riding in the car and hearing the box.

I read the other reviews and still bought this on clearance for $99. How bad could it be? Like others said...there's a problem where the remote stops working after a couple of days. I didn't believe it but now saw it for myself. JBL tech support says there's a problem with the memory that they're looking into...but they have no solution for it right now.
Stay away from this unit at all costs. Seriously. I learned the hard way and will be returning it while I can still get my money back. I had the 200 model (without the alarm clock), but saw this one for a cheaper price. I will be rebuying the 200 level model.

I just got this but I am very much liking this system and the capabilities. I am not super into gadgets in cars and this is perfect because it is very straightforward.

Bought this unit about 5 months ago mainly for it's USB iPod integration. Overall I am very happy with the product. Connecting your iPod via USB allows you to control it on the touch screen display while charging your iPod/iPhone. Controls are very easy and the touch screen works great.
My only issue so far is with the video feature of this unit. The picture quality if pretty weak and I have had some issues with playback. I did not purchase this unit to watch movies though, so it is not a big issue for me.
If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive double-din head unit that has iPod/iPhone USB integration I would highly recommend this. If you are looking for one to watch movies on you may be disappointed with this.
