My Kodak Pulse arrived a few days ago, and I set it up last night. It connected with my Wi Fi with no problems after I entered the security code. I have a MacBook Pro and I went through my I Photo library and selected the pictures I wanted to upload to the frame. I did this through the software included with the frame and uploaded only the photos I wanted to use. I did have to open various folders in I Photo, but once I did that the photos were displayed and I was able to select them. The photos are clear and beautiful and now I am enjoying them in collage format. Last month I ordered another frame for my elderly father for his birthday, and I wish I had given him this one instead! I would love to be able to surprise him with new pictures! The set up was so easy, and managing and deleting photos is a snap. I think this frame would be perfect for connecting with other friends and family members. You set up an email address, and people can email their photos to your frame. Managing

Just bought this for my Mom for her B-day. Was in town this past weekend and wanted to hook it up for her and get going. Setup is very straight forward, and the personalized [...] webpage you setup that is dedicated to your frame is really nice and almost fool-proof. The wifi setup was very quick/easy, as was the entire process. I started streaming pics from my computer to the frame and didn't really have any issues at first. But after streaming about 6-7 sets of pics (some groups > 100pics at once)...something happened. I was no longer able to stream (x-fer rate kept staying at 0 B/s) from my computer to the frame as I was previously able to do a few hrs earlier. I checked the frame and it said the wireless connection, etc was GOOD, and there was plenty of space left on the frame. Working with Kodak support now to try to fix. Now, I could obviously just x-fer them from my computer to frame via memory card or USB, then just copy those into the internal memory...but that's not the

Bought this picture frame on sale for $69.99. Figured it was a great buy with great features and a reliable brand.... Wrong!!!!
The picture quality and ease of use was great. However, the programmable feature never worked at all (It's a known issue with this product, see other reviews). This caused the frame to never automatically turn on or off when you programed it. In addition, the pictures would not shuffle after you enabled the feature.
Was really dissapointed because everything else on frame worked great.... Returned the product after a couple of weeks. I guess that's why this model was on sale.

I've been looking for a photo frame that I can give to my parents, who don't get to see my kids often. I wanted one that allows me to update pictures remotely, and doesn't require any technical knowledge on their part. I tried a few WiFi-capable units: Toshiba (wide-screen ratio, a mistake), Viewsonic (doesn't auto-play when turned on), and Pixstar (seems nice, but $230?). Finally, Amazon emailed me about the new Kodak Pulse, which at the time got three 5-star reviews. Well, what the heck, I decided to buy it and try it out for myself. Pros: - Very nice, clear LCD display. It appears to be higher res than other frame. Maybe it's because it is only 7", yet 800x600 pixels. Maybe the LED backlight helps too. The colors also seem richer on this frame. - Small frame border. Some frames have a ridiculously large border, which takes focus away from the pictures. - Once configured, zero-configuration needed to use. Perfect for non-technical viewers. - Impressive web management tools,

Great looking digital frame.
Easy to navigate menu
Good iPod connectivity
Alarm clock failed on two separate occasions!
It seems as though device "locked / froze" up.
Reminds me of my old PALM device...
Great for secondary washroom or office - not dependable for alarm.

I liked this frame so much, I bought two. One for my parents and one for my family. The features are great, I like that it can double as a clock. Ease of use is well...easy! Pop in a memory card or plug into a PC via USB to use the 1gb of on board memory. Picture quality only slightly suffers when a picture outside the native display dimensions is loaded up. When a cropped picture for this frame is displayed, the results are spectacular. For a bigger room you probably want to get a bigger frame, but as an accent or in a smaller room I recommend this frame without hesitation.

WHAT I DO LIKE: well I use this clock radio for my office and it does alot of the things I want. You dont need to own an MP3 player to listen to your songs since it has an internal memory, usb dirve, memory drive (also for iPods) capabilities. While I'm working I usually listen to radio talk shows in my area ( DON'T care about HD or Satalite radio since I like my local radio stations) or I listen to songs that I've stored in my USB or memorystick, while ocasionally stare at my personal pictures on its screen (NO need to buy a digital portrait frame). During my breaks sometimes a watch videos or movies and they look really good (not HD, but thats ok). About the "iPoD" connection I dont know how well it works since I dont have an iPod and I dont even like them, so NO comments in that area. The controls are fairly simple to use and you can start using it rigth out of the box.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE: First, is the fact that I CANNOT delete the sample pics in the internal memory. Second,

I've had this for a couple of days now and have to say that Kodak really has a winner on its hands with the Pulse. Kodak has solved the "last mile" problem with photo frames by creating such an easy way to get photos onto the Pulse. After receiving it you create an email address at [...] and simply email photos to that address. It takes about three minutes from emailing a photo to the Pulse to when it shows up on it. Let your friends and family know the email address and they can send photos to it too. Setting up the Pulse is easy and takes about 10 minutes from unboxing it to displaying photos on it. The frame first connects to the internet via your WiFi and then displays an activiation code. You then go to [...] and create a user account and email address by keying in this activation code. After that you can start emailing photos to your new email account. In addition you can also have it display photos from your facebook or Kodak Gallery accounts. The Pulse has worked great

For $154, you should get an alrm clock that works flawlessly. This item is not worth your time and aggravation. I was furious when I overslept because this alarm clock failed (with two alarms set) and was just BLACK screen'ed when I woke up. I had to unplug and plug it in again to get it to work. Complete piece of trash--

THE GOOD:
1. Great overall design
2. Good 7inch display
3. Can play ipod's music and video on 7inch screen
4. Card reader and USB connections.
THE BAD:
1. Firmware needs improvements.
2. Units resets your selected functions (Brightness, image selected, display settings) to DEFAULT when Alarm turns on. (so everyday I need to redo all my settings.
3. Ipod is controlled from Ipod itself, Not from Sony Unit. (for the price it should be controlled by the sony unit)
4. Preloaded images CAN NOT be DELETED ! You are stuck looking at someone's little blond hair brat that does not belong to you when running your slide show.
My 30 days is almost up 50/50 on returning it.

I found that this has a lot of features, types of way you can display your picures. If you keep the remote handy you can turn it off when you leave your desk. The screen is very elegant, holds 2000 pictures, there are slide shows, clocks, single pictures, etc.

My goal was to find a digital frame with great picture definition that would be reliable and easy to use. I did the usual: read lots of reviews, did lots of research. In the end I chose this Kodak EasyShare P725 Digital Frame although it was, I believe, a fairly new release. The frame was a birthday present for my friend, and I wanted her to be able to see pictures on it right away. This EasyShare plays pictures directly from the frame, or from a memory card or a USB flash drive. I chose pictures that I thought she'd like and spent a happy afternoon organizing them onto a SanDisk Cruzer, so she could enjoy the frame while selecting her own pictures. The picture quality is crisp and bright, and there is none of that "funhouse mirror" distortion that you sometimes get when the picture isn't the right shape for the frame. I knew my friend wouldn't be happy seeing herself and her family egg-shaped! If there is one thing about this product that could have been better, it's the user guide

After about a year of use, the clock stopped keeping time. This appears to be a known issue with this frame and there is no real fix. Support tells you to restore to factory settings and unplug overnight. This does not fix the issue. There are no patches available for download to fix the problem either.
Not having a clock makes the programmable on/off feature useless...this was one of the best features of the frame...while it worked.

This is a beautiful machine. You get an IPod player, a dual clock, am & fm radio and a 7' Digital picture frame. The perfect all in one machine. Using the controls takes some time to get use too. Functions such as setting the clock and alarm(s) is very easy, however additional functions could take sometime getting use too. For the price i found this very odd that Sony did not include a remote. This unit comes with a built in 1GB memory card which is great, however you can not do a picture show from your SD Cards or Memory stick. You have to transfer your pictures from your SD card to the internal 1GB memory, which you can only do 50 at a time. There is 5 set pictures you can not erase from the clock, Pictures that may have your friends saying who is that little boy. Overall good ideal but for the lack of a few features the price tag should have been lower. If you don't mind no remote, a few pictures that can't be erase and a hefty price tag...this is a better than average product.

Wow..I though I was the only one having problems with this product but I should read the comments before buying it. I got this digital frame as an open box item, it worked great for one year. After that, it just stopped working I unplugged it and plugged again days later. You can see the image, but there is a snooze sound that bothers. It only has 6 months warranty and I contacted the company, which they told me the warranty doesn't even cover this kind of problem....I will NEVER buy an Insignia product ever again...I'll rather spend the extra bucks to get something better that I know it would last....Don't buy this product!!! It may look nice and be good price but won't last

I received this picture frame as a gift for buying a 10mm Sigma Fisheye lens por Sony DSLR. It was a 40/50 bucks digital frame which is cheap compared to other solutions that can go up to 250 bucks and even more. The digital frame is loaded with several features such as music and video playback, alarm and clock. I find those features very nice and interesting. The sound quality is OK, what you can expect from a built-in speaker. The image quality is not the best. Again, I wasn't expecting the highest quality screen for that price. If you've seen the screen quality of a regular cel phone now you have an idea of how the pictures look in this frame. If you want to display your pictures with fine details and richer colors you need to look for more expensive frames by different brands like HP, Sony or LG. Those brands use better quality screen for their digital frames. I would recommend this digital frame to people who want to use it from time to time, don't want to spend too much money
