I gave this set with 5 stars, because it's perfect for the purpose for which I bought it. My mom just moved into a retirement residence. Her apartment isn't large, and she sits about 6 feet from the set. The audio is fine, the picture is terrific and it's very easy for her to use. I was concerned that it would be too small, but it's fine. She loves it. I read the other reviews regarding the audio and lack of features, but those aren't an issue in her situation.

It arrived within time stated, packaged securly, no problem in hooking it up. Love the size and sharp picture quality. Perfect for bedroom, sound is good. Very happy with Overstock and the t.v.

I was a little skeptical at first buying a tv that had been refirbished, but I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, for the quality of the picture, and the price I paid, this tv is awesome. The only complaint I have is that I have satellite tv and when I pair the remote to it, there is no way to set the sleep function. I'm one that needs my tv to fall asleep to, but I don't want it on all night. I just put batteries in the one that came with it and use it just for the sleep function. Other than that, this tv is well worth the value.

I purchased this television for my mother (no longer a young chick) and she loves it. She says the picture is very clear and the features are easy to use.

THis TV is not a Hi Def TV and the sound on it is not very great. I was a bit disappointed overall - but then I remembered that I got a good deal - and that was why....... I would not buy another one.

This product was the biggest disappointment of all of my online purchases! The product description states the following: Virtual Surround. This would leave any sane individual (who would think to ask in the first place?), that a TV that you paid ovef $1200 for would come with sound. Surprise, this one does not!

This is a great television that works wonderfully as a monitor for our video game systems. With component, S-video, composite, and coaxial inputs, it connects to all our systems, from Atari 2600 to Playstation 2. The picture quality is great, and the speaker does a fine job for this purpose. The only downside is the "Please Wait" message you get every time you turn the TV on. I thought having to wait for TVs to warm up was a thing of the past! But that's a minor complaint, really. Overall, we're very happy with this unit.

This TV has a wonderful picture and is very easy to set up and use. I have been looking for a TV of this size, and they are so expensive! I don't need HD because I am using an antenna (I don't have cable), but even without it this TV gets a GORGEOUS picture, particularly when viewing a DVD or videotape (I have both connected to this TV). You should be aware that this TV can accommodate only two attached devices, and you will need to buy the appropriate cables, and does not have an HDMI input. The sound also is not terrific, but not as bad as other reviewers seemed to think. For basic TV viewing, I think the sound is fine, but you can also add a set of computer (or other) speakers inexpensively. I think this was a great value!

Is this a good LCD TV? Quite possibly, if "good LCD TV" isn't an oxymoron. There's the motion blur, which was even worse than I expected, and pixelization that's visible at all times but worse when there's motion, a little insult to add to your injury. Color and clarity on still images is very good, as I'd expect of a high quality LCD display. But I spent far less on my LCD computer monitor, and it has significantly better color and clarity (admittedly at much higher resolution) than this set.
Sound can only be described as miserable. Maybe we shouldn't expect much of a small, thin, flat panel, but providing bass and treble controls on this unit seems as silly as outfitting a moped with a nitrous injector.
A 20" set seems most likely intended for use in places like the bedroom, where viewers are likely to be fairly close to the screen, and where it's unlikely the set can be hooked up to a sound system. Since it doesn't provide good close-up viewing, and since the sound quality is so poor,

I needed a television for a small room and this is the perfect fit. The price was great, the reception and sound are also great. It's a really neat looking tv. Also, the delivery was amazing, I ordered it on the weekend and it was delivered on Tuesday - and for 2.95, you can't beat that.

This is really a neat TV. Fits in an amoire and the footprint was only a bit taller than a much smaller screen TV. Have it hooked up to UVerse and the picture and sound operate optimumly. Paid $299 at Best Buy two weeks ago. Sharp has excellent quality, and when it's time for HDTV will definitely consider the Aquos. Noted one reviewer said the sound was tinny. Not so with mine. The sound in fact is quite good. The more I think about the price the sound is even better!!!

We bought this TV for our son's room and it fits in there nicely. The sound is not top quality... but we don't want to have to hear his tv while we are in the other room anyways! It's a perfect television for a bedroom or office space. Product is "refurbished" but looks brand new as far as we can tell!

This TV was for my kids to play their video games. My husband and I wanted to steal it because the quality was so great. It really is on of the best deals I have seen for the price. We have a Media room done by pros and two other flat screens, so we do know about tv's. Overstock again came through.

This set has an incredibly good picture, but I have had a LOT of trouble with it. First of all, it doesn't receive ANY digital sound. Great digital picture (even with an antenna it's better than what I ever got with cable), but there is NO sound. Pretty odd since the analog sound comes in fine. The speakers are tiny so the sound is really thin even at best and there isn't any way to hook up external speakers. On the other hand, this is as bright as any tube TV and looks amazing. I'm returning mine to Sharp today to try to get it fixed or replaced. At least it happened in the 30 day warranty period!

This was a great purchase. The picture on the TV is wonderful. You can watch it from many angles and it's still clear. The installation was extremely easy. It is a perfect TV for a small room.

The TV does not work. When you turn it on it turns itself off. This was a Christmas present for our daughter and she did not get to watch it at all. Very disappointing.

We use the tv all the time now...it's great. It was a great price, not too expensive...a great buy, I will buy from overstock again definitely....Such a good buy. Perfect to purhcase right before christmas as well!

TV has very bad sound quality. It sounds tinny. The picture is fairly sharp. I am not sure that it is a great value, considering that it is refurbished.

The sound quality is so bad you feel like you're listening to something out of a tin can. The picture is great, but the sound is hard to overcome. The audio is digital dolby - not stereo. We are going to return it and pay the 15% restocking fee for something with better sound quality.

This LCD TV replaced a CRT TV with a smaller screen and it has a lots smaller footprint. Picture clarity and ease of controls is great. Good viewing angle and excellent features.
