My DVD recorder was asking for specific brand and type of disc, this is it and locally about the only place where I was able to find it. Price is great for 50 discs. I have recorded close to 20 movies in less than a month, and all of them are good quality.

Even though it has vista, my upgrade to 7 is on it's way. Don't know why others complain of this unit crashing, no such trouble here. I am a heavy user. There is no visible hard drive sync light in the front. Noticed by accident that it is located in back.So if you like to keep an eye on hard drive activity, you have to set this up on your desktop. Other than that I am very happy.

Windows 7 is one of the better systems I have used. Log on is faster, I have been using the system for about a month and have not been locked up! It is easy to find what you are looing for! I pre-ordered Windows 7 at a lower price and was well worth the wait! However, I would install on other computers at home, but would like the pre-ordered price!!

If you don't have access to DSL or cable, WAIT FOR AWHILE until these other companies figure out patches for this new OS. I wonder if I can just go back to vista (which was horrible). :(

I was using vista 64 bit, and it was garbage. I had constant crashes, none of the games I play worked well on it and most crashed several times a day at a minimum. As soon as I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit however, all of my games now work and work flawlessly. As soon as windows 7 boots up it is ready to go, there are not a lot of background programs and processes running like there are in windows vista and as a whole the computer works much faster and more efficiently. Microsoft Finally delivered an operating system that not only works as well and as dependably as windows xp, but surpasses XP in almost all areas. This purchase is more than worth the money.

Microsoft managed to keep alot of the good from Vista but streamline it into Windows 7. Windows 7 doesn't have nearly the hardware requirements of Vista but the more the better. Microsoft has added alot of functionallity to the overall product.

The production release is so fast and you spend much less time watching the hourglass (now the spinning blue circle) than older versions of Windows. It boots up very quickly and the built in error management features are hugely helpful. Specifically the Action Center. It manages most problems pretty effectively. This is a good step forward for Windows.

I traded a HP THAT I BOUGHT AND OWNED LESS THAN 24 HOURS BECAUSE IT GAVE ME A BLUE SCREEN AND SHUT DOWN 3 TIMES , FOR THE BEST LAPTOP I HAVE EVER OWNED HANDS DOWN.

I am please about the new type of LED screen, but I was disappointed when I realized it didn't have a fire wire connection. Sad to think that a older model macbook has more to offer than my new updated macbook. I am still pleased about having a Intel CPU, instead of a G5. Now I can run Windows or Mac OS, but not a fan of Windows, but good to have the option.

During the two weeks I used this computer I had the blue screen of death five times and one total freeze-up on my screensaver. The computer diagnosed its problem as being either a problem with RAM, System Board, CPU, or Power Supply. I had trouble installing my Adobe programs onto the computer. Windows 7 comes with no email program, and the email download program is different enough from the old Windows Mail that it is awkward to use. I was unable to use a rapid transfer cable to move my files from my Vista computer to this computer. I suspect the glitch in my computer is a rare problem, but it has indeed been frustrating.

Purchased this machine to replace an Acer that had a motherboard die after 15 months! Very easy set-up. Great for family use - internet surfing, game playing and uploading pictures to share.

My kids love watching their Dvd players. Very easy set up. Very clear picture. I love that it has a disk menu so you can skip right to the movie. Love this product.

I did my research before buying this burner. I read the other reviews and finally came to a decision in buying this. First like the other review says DO NOT install the NERO included with this product, it has some ill-sided effects on your computer and isn't worth it. Lightscribe has there own programs which you can download for FREE, head to lightscribe.com and go to the download section and have at it. The installation was as easy as connecting the USB cable to your computer and it is recognized instantly, I was burning a DVD with in 2 minutes of connecting to my laptop. The installation was super fast, even if you have no computer knowledge you will be able to operate this burner. Another great feature is the power cord, it runs off your computer through the USB so you do not have to plug it into the wall, awesome if portability is something you are looking for. Included is two cords for power and transfer of data, the instructions say you can use one, but both were required, so make

Good for the price - speakers are undersized, however; limits ability of system to faithfully reproduce sound picture. Adequate for building system from scratch. Recommend upgrading speakers to at least 5" mid-range with 1" tweeter to provide best results...good system

Easy, simple and fast and great price! I love the fact that it is compact and opens and closes fast. Also,it starts play time fast. The down side is that if you lose the remote control then you cannot forward or rewind. The only way to forward, rewind and volume is through the remote control. The DVD itself only has the Stop, Play, Eject. Great product I highly recommend it especially as a second simple and straight forward DVD player to own.

I hate how people compare this game to oblivion, it's nothing like that game. Oblivion was great, but I prefer variety. One disappointed review mentions this game being nothing like oblivion other than being an rpg(and being in the fantasy world?), and thank goodness. That's like asking for mass effect to be like fallout. I cherish both games, but praise the maker it isn't so. The game has so much depth and there's already more DLC coming. Do your research people--watch video reviews, they help you know what's in the game, zOMG.

I was initially very satisfied with the 3600, but after owning it for a couple of months, I can provide my objective opinion based on real life experiences along with some subjective feedback as well.
• Price: Based on today’s technology and economy, the player is slightly overpriced. The BR DVD industry realizes that in order to keep pace with market demands and heavy competition they must pull at all of the stops to create more demand – Their solution was/is to add functions such as Pandora, Netflix etc.; and as cool as these features are, once the novelty wears off, then the consumer focuses on the primary DVD functions.
• Set –up: This player is not your typical “plug and play” device. Patience and basic internet technology understanding is a plus. Read the directions, and once you have set up your Wi-Fi as noted, re-boot your modem and all should be good. The player will come with a factory setting of 1080i, therefore, make sure that

This DVD player is a very convenient size. The color selection was great and it's a brand that I trust. It is easy to use and the battery has about 6 hours of use before re-charging, which is quite sufficient. I love the swivel screen, too.

Windows 7 it's self is great but the upgrade not so much. Through a pain staking process it does work fairly well when upgrading XP, but don't waste the time trying to upgrade Vista, it just doesn't work. Just like Vista. If possible you are much further ahead to use the full install instead of the upgrade. Much cleaner install with less glitches and problems.
