Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 (Red)
Bought this on sale for $34+ shipping. The next week it was listed at BB for $50. For home use this list price is to high. My brother-in-law bought a MS webcam, but a cheaper model and it works just as good. Audio is great. I am about 2ft from the webcam and I talk normally. If you can get this webcam on sale buy it. Or wait until it goes on sale.

Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 12 MP Digital Camera with 3.6x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Black)
Let me start by saying that I'm an enthusiast, and love taking pictures although I have much to learn about photgraphy. That being said, I've actually owned a couple of these Stylus Tough 8000 series cameras. The main selling point of this camera has got to be its extreme toughness. You can take it practically anywhere under almost any conditions. That's why I have one of these cameras. Its great to take on a hike, when you don't want to carry a bigger DSLR, but still want reasonably good pictures. Its rugged, surviving the occasional drop that would break most every other camera.

Probably my favorite feature is the Panaramic mode which allows you to take wonderfully easy panaramic shots. The camera can even stitch them together for you on the fly. Which is really cool when you're on top of a mountain somewhere and want to make sure that the pic turned out the way that you wanted it to.

If you're going to be outdoors and are looking for a light weight point and shoot that

Sony Cybershot DSC-W220 12.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization (Silver)
We owned a cyber shot that after a few years and many drops broke. We love this camera, the picture quality is the best! It is very easy to use as well. When we bought our new cybershot we were dissapointed in the zoom capibility. We ordered our new cyber shot camera on line and didn't get to play with it before our purchase. I would highly recommend going into the store to view the camera because when we went to return it, we had to pay an expensive restocking fee even though the box and contents were in new condition. If a zoom isn't that important, I would highly recommend this camera, we loved it, untill we wanted to photograph sports at a distance.

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Cobalt Blue)
Greatest laptop mouse ever!
I gifted this to my boyfriend and then took over it!
It really works everywhere and the range is great.
This works on my dining table, sofa cushions, bed sheets, carpet etc. all sorts of rough terrain and without mouse a pad!
Batteries lasted me like two months; not bad!

I'm seriously considering buying myself one in "scarlet red" so i can return this blue one to the rightful owner!

Panasonic SC-BT300 1250W 7.1 Channel Blu-ray Disc Home Theater Sound System
+ 0 likes
This is by far the best Home Theater System in a Box that I have ever owned. The sound quality from BluRay movies is unbeatable. I have everything in my home run through this system, XBOX 360, Satellite, and of Course BluRay. Past reviewers have requested HDMI on the back, but I don't see the need for this. I run everything to my Samsung LED TV via HDMI, then sent it all back to the Panasonic HT receiver via Digital Fiber Optic input, the sound is crisp and on point. I have recently purchased G.I. Joe and Transformers 2 on BluRay and watched it on the setup as described, after veiwing I wondered why I ever saw them in the theater.

Verizon LG enV3 Mobile Phone - Slate Blue
+ 0 likes
I really like this phone. My last one was the enV and this one is very similar with a lot of improvements. The one big drawback is your function options are limited from the front screen, you have to open it to do a lot of things. The size is great and I really like the blue color. Will keep this phone as long as it keeps working.

This is simply the best detector period. I have owned many many detectors and none can even compare to this one. I have owned mine for about 2 years now, and have came back to buy another one for my other vehicle...just because I have gotten too lazy to move it from vehicle to vehicle...its not hard to do, but I forget to move it..LOL

Asus Eee PC Netbook with Intel Atom Processor - Midnight Blue
+ 0 likes
I'm quite pleased with the netbook. It's really easy to pick up and bring to meetings being so light and since the battery life allows it to just sit on my desk unplugged. My wife initially thought it looked a little like a toy, but now she asks to borrow it in the morning to check email and Facebook at breakfast.

YouTube playback is jagged and the CPU utilization is typically at least 30% often going above 75%. I don't really use the web cam, but when I've tried it it's pretty jagged also. But for working with web based apps like Gmail and Google Docs it performs quite well. I haven't used iTunes on it, but WinAmp through headphones sounds really good. I was able to tether it to my smart phone and get internet anywhere in my network, which is huge.

Windows 7 seems to run well thus far and is a simple enough operating system to get used to.

Don't expect to perform intensive tasks on this netbook, but if you think of it as an extremely portable machine for communication

Antec VCOOL Expansion Slot VGA Cooler

Well, i decided to buy this because the fan on my ati radeon 2400 pro broke. It would idle at 80 degrees and crash my computer at 120 degrees if i tried to overclock it just a little bit. This fan made my core temperature idle at 40 degrees!!!! I was amazed because it said that it would only take off up to 15 degrees. I was able to overclock my graphic card from 525 MHZ to 654 MHZ and idle at 60 degrees! This works great so far and i am very happy with this purchase.

Toshiba 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Dive HDDR500E04XL (Liquid Blue)

I was able to set up the hard drive in a relatively short time. The USB cord supplied with the unit is too short and it would be nice if some type of holder was supplied. Since setting up, I've had absolutely no problems. I use it for a back up device.

Samsung BD-P3600 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player

I was initially very satisfied with the 3600, but after owning it for a couple of months, I can provide my objective opinion based on real life experiences along with some subjective feedback as well.
• Price: Based on today’s technology and economy, the player is slightly overpriced. The BR DVD industry realizes that in order to keep pace with market demands and heavy competition they must pull at all of the stops to create more demand – Their solution was/is to add functions such as Pandora, Netflix etc.; and as cool as these features are, once the novelty wears off, then the consumer focuses on the primary DVD functions.
• Set –up: This player is not your typical “plug and play” device. Patience and basic internet technology understanding is a plus. Read the directions, and once you have set up your Wi-Fi as noted, re-boot your modem and all should be good. The player will come with a factory setting of 1080i, therefore, make sure that

This is a great phone I love the lighted key pad and the large info display area. It is design is ideal for tight spaces . The battery life including talk time is good. The speakerphone feature on the handsets is wonderful and a nice feature I also love the fact that you can store your phone book on one handset and it is synced to all allowing you to dial by scrolling through the directory and selecting the number.

Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP Digital Camera with 12x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-inch LCD (Black)
I purchased this camera in May/2009. I had to send it back in July/2009 because the lens would not retract and it was showing me an error message. They sent it back fixed under warranty pretty much hassle free. It broke AGAIN in Oct/2009 with the SAME issue. Lens would not retract and error message. This time however, Cannon wanted to charge me money to fix the camera because they said it was broken because of the scratches I had on the corners of the camera. There were no marks in July and the camera still had the same problem! The scratches were not the cause of this issue! It is a malfunction of the cameras poor quality and I was dissapointed that Cannon would not stand behind there product and fix it! I paid $350 too much for a camera that I had to send back 2 times! They hid behind the scratches on the camera so they would not have to fix the obvious camera malfunction....save your money and go with the Panasonic Lumix, I wish I had!

Sony BRAVIA XBR Series KDL-52XBR9 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Black

Got an Floor Stand by Chief Model PF1UB (black color) and its perfect for the TV instead of the TV Table stand which is terrible and could easily fall off the stand because so wobbly. It was a minor issue once I got the Floor Stand.

It's a great TV - colors are beautiful; Bought the extended warranty in the store for 4 years - since online they only offer 2 years; tell the on-line representative that when you pick up the TV; you want to purchase in the store the 4 year warranty!! This warranty also included any accidentially breakage is covered!!! Love this warranty since it's for my 19 years old son and his friends - who may accidentily break it.

Didn't get the calibration done by BestBuy since I feel that they don't have the best equipment.

Great TV, great picture...easy set up. The TV wobbles on the stand. Has to be hard wired into a network. Not able to use a wireless network card in the USB slot.

Asus Laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor - Blue/Black
+ 0 likes
For those people who don't have a clue about ASUS, it is a brand that is mostly used by enthusiasts, overclockers, hardcore gamers, and really techie people. Why do we support it? When you open an ASUS computer, every inch of it are made of premium parts. Unlike those other brands that are made of generic parts. How do I know? I'm a consultant.

ASUS and MSI are the only brands that can withstand overclocking out of the box. What's best about ASUS is what's under the hood. Although some might say it's no aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but pound per pound it will beat any machine when it comes to reliability and performance.

I'll only turn my head on ASUS and Apple laptops, that's it.
