The cables and items in the kit cost altogether far more than the kit, so the kit is an okay deal. All the cables feel solid and high quality, the dock is reasonably nice, and the remote control works, even though it is limited in functionality.

One of the power cables fizzled out only a couple weeks after I got the kit, which might have been upsetting except that CablesToGo was very friendly on email, stood by their warranty and shipped me a new cable very fast. They didn't even ask me to return the broken cable.

For me, the most useful parts of the kit have been the cables to connect my iPod Video to my television. There are two different cables for that, and they have really opened up the usefulness of the iPod, turning it into a portable video server, instead of just a portable video viewer.

Label your kids' tennis shoes even

This product is a bit pricey, but it is so much quicker to use when I had to label my daughter's school items, including my daughter's tennis shoes and jazz shoes. I printed up her name and was able to use the tip of my hot iron to transfer the name label onto the inside tongue of her shoes. I've also used it to label the inside of her ski gloves, socks, just about everything that she has to take to classes....easier to use than a fabric ink pen and you can place the label in a discrete place on the item.

I have even used it to label many of my rock and mineral specimens. Those labels have stayed on so far. I'm curious to see whether they stay on those rocks or not.
