Having used my logitech G5 from Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 days till now it had served me well but it's time to look at new stuff. G9 is too small and claw style which doesn't fit me and MS Sidewinder and Razer are both too fat for me, palm/wrist started straining after 5 mins game play. THen Logitech came out with G500 which is named the G5 replacement.
I did lots of research and couldn't find any documentation regarding this. All say this mouse go from 200 DPI to 5700 DPI which is true if you install the setpoint software. I'm very axxx about keeping my computer clean and I really don't see the benefit of having 5700 DPI, it's more gimmick, advertisement than real in game usage.....flick of a wrist and your cursor lands in your neighbor's house? NO THANKS!
By default, G500 is plug and play, this is straight from the manuel.. WITHOUT installing the SETPOINT software, the mouse default at 3 levels. 200, 800 and 2000 DPI just like G5 which suits me just fine! 800

I have been using these phones to watch movies so I don't disturb other people in the area, the sound quality is excellent, and they are very comfertible. I actually forgot I was wearing them at one point since they are so comfertible.

We owned a cyber shot that after a few years and many drops broke. We love this camera, the picture quality is the best! It is very easy to use as well. When we bought our new cybershot we were dissapointed in the zoom capibility. We ordered our new cyber shot camera on line and didn't get to play with it before our purchase. I would highly recommend going into the store to view the camera because when we went to return it, we had to pay an expensive restocking fee even though the box and contents were in new condition. If a zoom isn't that important, I would highly recommend this camera, we loved it, untill we wanted to photograph sports at a distance.

I swore never to buy sony again after my last DVD cam screen stopped working but here i am again.
What sucks;
Can only film i wide screen format.
Must use SONY PICTURE UTILITY to import video. IT IS SLOW AND ANNOYING AND GENERALLY SUCKS. THEN THE VIDEO MUST BE CONVERTED TO ENABLE TO USE ANY PROGRAM OTHER THAN SONY.
AGAIN THIS IS SLOW AND ANNOYING AND I FEEL UNNECESSARY BUT FOR SOME REASON SONY CAN NOT RESIST DOING IT THIS WAY. MOST LIKELY I WILL THROW THIS CAMERA INTO THE TRASH JUST FOR THIS REASON.
Only Adobe sucks more when it comes forcing library features down the throats of the consumers.
I can only assume this is because we would never use their software unless forced to.

Just plug it in WIndows loads a driver,and it is ready to go without using any software. It is silent. No problems with very large files or file names. I always do full manual backups of whole files and folders using a file transfer program, NOT backup software So I did not use the included software disk. My Files are fine!
It uses the included External Power Supply. It does not run off of the usb power alone, as some smaller external drives do, but no problem to plug in the included adapter.The adapter is similar to anything else, like cell phone chargers, etc. The drive capacity is huge. It is so large I am able to backup the data from two or three computers, and folks , that includes lots of recorded TV and iTunes music. The design is simple and elegant. A smart black tower with only the HP logo and an intense modern blue led when the drive is accessed. It stands upright but is not too lightweight to cause worry. I am very happy with this drive and would not hesitate to get a second

I have returned this phone to the retailer once due to the battery life. I charged my original phone for over 24 hours and the battery life indicator never went over 90%, and was down to 40% by noon the next day. I do not use my phone very much at all, a few calls and even fewer texts throughout the day, and this depletes the battery life! The retailer gave me a second phone and it has the same issues, after charging the phone overnight the battery life never reaches 100%, only 90%, and depletes by the end of the day with very minimal use. The features are nice, but I must charge it every night which is extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this phone for that reason.

I bought this laptop to replace my 4 year old Compaq.I bought this on sale for $429, but now it looks like that is the permanent price. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, so far everything has worked well. But I thought I'd just list a few issues for potential owners:
I do a lot of traveling and one of the main selling points for me was the built in microphone and web cam. BEWARE: The microphone and sound quality is HORRIBLE. I've barely been able to complete a phone or video call, because of the frustration from both myself and whoever I've tried to talk to. I've seen the suggestion about changing the settings in some of these reviews, and also by just doing a Google search, and while that improved the quality a little bit, it remains BAD. I'm very disappointed with this. Now, I have to invest more money in a microphone, when I shouldn't have to.

Running smooth as silk with 64 or 32 bit apps. Great range and speed with my DIR-655 router and the built in WAN adapter. Tried to max out memory with multiple programs running and it did not miss a beat. Windows 7 seems to be solid. The only thing that raised an eye brow is I had the task bar flicker one time when I was using Firefox. Closed Firefox and fired it back up and the problem was gone. I am very happy with this purchase. I hope you will be also.

Please adjust your settings for the microphone. This microphone is GREAT but settings must be adusted. See what I posted some days ago when I noticed that settings were off:
This is what got me excellent recording sound on microphone of G60-945DX:
1. Go to control panel /hardware and sound /sound/recording/mic/ properties/advanced
change settings to last one which is 2channel 24 bit, 96000hz studio quality.
Uncheck EVERYTHING on the advanced window
2. When in SKYPE go to Call/audio settings
Uncheck automatically adjust audio settings and move recording level to middle between min and max
Save and make a test call
Enjoy

This is a great product. Too bad they don't stock it in the stores. It has a small footprint yet it is very loud and has good sound quality. The tuner is very good quality. There is no external antennae to mess with yet it still has great radio reception.

Have an XPS 420, and this is the additional dual monitor. By the time I decided to buy a second monitor, my system was 4 yrs. old, and did not think I would be able to find an exact match for the original monitor. Exact match, and comes with both a VGA and a DVI cable. Clear image and allows you to add a Dell sound bar at the bottom ( AX510PA or AS 501). The silver frame is cool.

It's almost like the previous Sony camera I had, so it's easy to use, pics come out very clear...Have not used enough times quite yet so not much else I can say.

These are some great sounding speakers. The subwoofer gives it a rich, full sound. I don't much care for the controller. I would have preferred the same speakers in a sound bar, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it. I'm not going to take the overall rating down for that.

Bought on Nov 14, got home set it up, no problems there...worked fine until tonight (5 days later)...It was in sleep mode, opened it, check some email, left it after 5 mins...came back 30 mins later and it had rebooted itself with the blue screen, kept saying not bootable, insert disk. Managed to restart it to the same screen, restart a 3rd time, I entered the setup screen, selected f4 to test the disk drive and the result was a blue screen saying hard disk check failed.... no hard disk...hard disk indicator light was not on, only power light. After that it would not shut down at all, had to remove battery to turn it off. Will not turn on all indicator lights just keep flashing & will not turn on.

After doing a lot of research I found this to be a unbeatable deal. BEST BUY even has the best price online so buy from here. The computer is lightning fast with 4 GB of ram, the screen is clear and bright at 16:9 ratio, movies are a pleasure to watch on this laptop. The ALTEC LANSING speakers are very nice compared to my other laptops; DVD DUAL Layer (Important for me) with Light Scribe for professional looking labels also is very nice feature. Love having 3 USB's while instead of 2, and having HDMI output is also key for external monitor.
Great features for a great price, Only negative is built in Mic. A serious flaw, the mic that is unusable for Skype, recording, etc., so get a decent mic to plug into the convenient front jack. Its a shame as the webcam is decent, why the mic is so lousy is a mystery when the speakers are A+ for a laptop.
Totally satisfied so far. Also very nice looking; lights on front (3) and the two on top (wi-fi & power) look cool; glossy finish

I purchased the camers for a trip to Disney with wife, children, and grandchildren. I recordered everything in high quality HD. When we got home we could not believe the quality of the picture and sound. It even shot great in low light conditions. I shot the fireworks and they came out great. I took movies of the night parade and they are great. I could not believe the differance between this and a regulad camcorder. THe only thing is you need a blue ray burner to record the movies. A regular dvd only hold 30 minuites of HD high quality. It took 10 DVD's to put it on disk. I have since upgraded to a blue ray burnner and everything is well. I would highly recommend this camcorder to anyone who has the money.

Overall is a good phone. Bought for my mother, is easy to use. Life long batterry. The only thing when u use the spreaker phone is not so great you hear a lot of echo.

I own it for two weeks now, and so far it is the best western digital drive I ever owned. I have 4 ealier 500GB drives, and I was happy with them. and as soon as I heard about this 1TB drive, I planned to buy it immediately, but DID NOT. Why? because of those bad reviews written by others. They were very convencing. But somehow I have 20+ years believe in WD products quality so I bought it and below are my reply to the raised concerns: 1- USB connecter 2.0: yes it is a new interface, but believe me, I hardly can unplug it from the HDD! contradict what people are saying! it is very tightly secure in the drive without any loose problems! may be they have change it recently! but I am very happy with the connection 2- WD software: Western digital website already published a firmware update to remove (hide) their annoying CD partition for their new software. so basicly this problem is history. I am using this drive in both windows 7 and Mac Book Pro, and it is working like magic in both

runs smooth i change the display settings to the lowest so i can have the battery last longer them normal but its up 3hours if change and if not its up 2 hours and something mins i would just use the cord and take the battery out
and the hard drive a little to small for me but ill replace it someday this laptop good for people that just want to sure the web and its half price them other laptops its a must buy item

My wife and I are ultra-pleased in the value of this laptop. We have been using it for a week, and besides the minor complaints above, this thing is great. I just found another review on here that mentioned how to improve the microphone, so I should check into that. Battery life is a little over 2 hrs., but how can you complain about that with the price? I am adapting to Windows 7 very quickly and am really enjoying its improvements. The DVD-Burner is a very important item for me, and saving $30 on the new Office software through Best Buy only added to the excitement. This keyboard is great, with the 10-key being included for Office use. Also, the scrolling function of the cursor is much better than the Mac 2-finger thing. I was going to just go with the free virus protection through Comcast, but after using the Norton Symantec free trial, and realizing it will save and complete all your logins for you, I am keeping it, huge benefit!
