WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I read all the reviews before I bought this item and decided it wasn't worth the risk to submerge it under water at any point, regardless of the "tissue test." That said, I bought it to protect my new camera from sand, rain, etc. on a recent trip to Costa Rica. It added peace of mind when I used the camera and performed just as I hoped. As mentioned in other reviews, be sure to line the lens up before taking any pictures as you'll find a black corner in your pictures from the case otherwise.

All in all, worth the money for what it is, and go in with lowered expectations.

WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I purchased this more than a year ago for a one week vacation. Tested the unit before leaving and it appeared to work fine. My wife and I where ruthless with the camera and the pack. It was placed in the unit and sealed in the morning, used all day while snorkeling, getting taken out constantly for better land based shots then finally the bag was cleaned and dried over night for the next day. After the first 2 days the seam started to break up at the top where the unit rolls up. I was extra carefull when sealing but continued to use the unit. By the last day of the trip water was slowly getting in a few drops at a time. It still worked but I was constantly checking. On the trip back I checked the unit out completely. The edge seals where comming apart, it would not have survived another day without camera damage.

I still loved this product think it worked fantasticly but it only works for 1 vacation then its dumpster material. It did convince me to purchase a $200 canon underwater

Canon WP-DC14 Underwater Housing - Front Loading
For a recent Carribean vacation, I considered buying one of those cheap water tight "bags" or this Canon waterproof cases designed for the SD750. I am so glad I bought this Canon waterproof case.

I took it SCUBA diving in 20 feet of water. No leaks. I took it in the pool. No leaks. Great photos.

I could access every function on the camera.

Canon includes a little tube of silicone grease to keep the o-ring lubricated. I re-lubricated the o-ring every morning on my trip.

Photos were great.

The best thing about having the waterproof case on my beach vacation was that I had freedom to take my camera everywhere, and my camera didn't limit where I could go. So I could take lots of pictures. From the hotel room into the pool, to the beach, then a walk along the windy sandy beach with ocean waves splashing, then splashing out in the waves, then taking videos of the waves crashing into me.

If I didn't have this waterproof case, I would have likely kept the camera in the hotel room

WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RTCCL2A17K72K This is the best $30 I spent for this vacation! What fun to just snorkel with a digital camera. I leave my camera in the case almost all the time now, to protect from rain, sand, etc. while at the beach. This video is in Kauai, Hawaii.

WP500 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
Though this was specifically supposed to fit my CASIO Exilim 600, the lens barrel repeated got caught in the lens recess, even though I attempted to use the included lens barrel attachment. This was my second disappointing experience with products of this company. I also ordered the bag for a Sony Camcorder which also was supposed to fit, but didn't.

WP500 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I reviewed this product with an ecstatic 5 stars several months ago. It worked great in several swimming pools, on a trip to Hawaii, and through half of our time in Belize. Unfortunately, halfway through a snorkeling trip, I noticed what looked like water in the bag. Before I could get back to the boat, my $300 canon was dead. Before you ask, yes I properly sealed it. My advice is to get the real case, or buy a cheap waterproof model. The only reason not to have one is that they don't do video.

WP500 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I purchased this item prior to going on a Caribbean cruise. We wanted to take shots while snorkeling and climbing the Dunns Falls in Jamaica. I was really surprised how well the pack worked. Not a single drop of water got inside during the hours that I spent underwater. I also used it to dive at a depth of about 15 feet and had no problem. There were only two small challenges that I had while using it. First, if the lens isn't positioned correctly in the lens tube, you'll end up with photos that include a portion of the black housing. Be sure to keep the lens in the center of the tube to avoid this. Also, it is very difficult to turn any dial on your camera once it's in the case. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to take some underwater pictures without buying an expensive underwater camera!

WP500 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I bought this generic water proof bag for my Cannon PowerShot S50 instead of buying the $200 dollar Cannon waterproof case. The bag performed as advertised and kept the camera dry. However, because the bag is made to fit several models of camera, it does not fit the S50 well. As purchased it was impossible to center the camera lens inside the bag's lens cover. This resulted in one side of every picture being obstructed by the curved lens cover. To fix this I fabricated a rubber alignment washer that fits inside the lens cover and around the camera lens forcing the lens to be centered. With this modification I was able to take good underwater pictures during a recent Caribbean cruise.

WP500 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
Note: remember to test the case as mentioned in the manual, if it keeps tissues dry it should keep your camera dry.

The Good:
It is only $35
You get digital quality pictures instead of disposable quality
You can snap away and not worry about wasting film, then delete all the junky photos afterwards (because you will have a lot)
You can get some good pictures with a bit of luck.

The Bad:
The lens ring can become crooked and you will mess up pictures if you don't notice.
Plastic jog dials are impossible to use if your hands are at all wet, let alone trying to spin it while you are in the water and the camera is in a plastic sack!
The lcd viewfinder is useless, too much light while snorkeling..maybe if your camera has a big 3.1 screen it would improve visibility, but I doubt it.

Here is how I got mine to work...before going near water I slipped the camera into the DiCaPac and turned it on (you may not have to turn yours on so early if you have a pushbutton on, mine is a jog dial, so it

Canon WP-DC14 Underwater Housing - Front Loading
I purchased this case for a trip to Negril Jamaica and it was well worth the money! This case was easy to use and allowed my wife and I to get unbelievable underwater pics while snorkeling on the reefs of Negril. All the other people on our boat were using cheap disposable underwater cameras while we were looking at our pics on the boat going back to the resort. Fun to use in the pools as well.

WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I got it for my Hawaii vacation.
It worked well for swallow water snokeling and protecting from the beach sand.
Sometimes the side of pictures was dark because of the lens cap.
So you need to align your camera and the cap from time to time.
I am pretty satisfied in terms of cost.
It worked reasonably as what they said, and much cheaper than the
original camera manufacture's waterproof case.

Don't listen to Alexander or W; they're idiots. Probably Alex didn't completely close the hidden ziplock. As for W, I have a Canon SD1000 and, based on his advice, I got the W300 instead of the 100. Big mistake! Now that I have the right one, it fits perfectly! No, the flash will NOT work, and so your pictures will probably be blurry except in clear water in sunshine, but for the price it's great. I wonder if someone makes a water-proof, radio-controlled flash...

Canon WP-DC14 Underwater Housing - Front Loading
this is so cool, it works perfect going as deep as 140 feet. All the functions on the camera work inside the case, you can watch your underwater video underwater. The best surprise for me is tht sound is recorded underwater. I sing underwater and record it. The SD 750 has a good recorder that can record at cd quality.

Must have accessory. Great for fun in the pool with the kids and even better for diving with the sharks. Nobody can deny you were there when you whip out the underwater pics and video with sound. Great product duo.

WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
This is a great alternative to expensive waterproof housings for digital cameras. I purchased this for a compact digital camera after loosing my hard case (and sony cybershot) on a rafting trip. Not wanting to risk such a big loss again, I bought this soft case in hopes that it would do the job. It keeps the water out well, but the lack of a tight fit between the lens housing and camera occasionally creates a peripheral black shadow on photos an videos. For the cost, you can't beat it.

Canon WP-DC14 Underwater Housing - Front Loading
I've had this case for most of the summer now and have had several opportunities to use it. Yesterday I was at a water park and noticed that the metal hinge seemed to be starting to rust already. I feel that this problem can be fixed, but it is the single problem I have found with the case. Otherwise, I love the case, it works well to make an awesome camera even better and more versatile.

WP100 Waterproof Underwater Case (Clear/Dark Brown), For Cameras with or without Zoom Lens, Waterproof to 16.4' (5.0 m), All Controls are Accessible, Protects Camera from Water and Sand
I bought this couple week ago for my Canon SD1000. This DiCAPac WP-100 - Marine case can't be used for SD1000. Very hard to put the camera in or to take it out. I have not tried underwater yet. However, I went kayaking 2 weeks ago and took some pictures with the DiCAPac WP-100 case and knew that part of the camera flash was covered by the black plastic that cover the lense. Don't know what to do with this DiCAPac WP-100 now!

WP-DC6 Underwater Housing for Canon PowerShot A710 IS Digital Camera - Rated up to 130'
When we received a Canon A710 IS as a gift, we were elated! After reading the manual and camera specs we were even more thrilled to find out there is an underwater setting. We travel a lot, and tend to go toward exotic/beachy vacations, and we often bring along the cheapy disposable waterproof cameras that take blurry and grainy (at best) pictures. So since we had a trip to the Mexican Riviera planned a few weeks out, we decided to purchase the WP-DC6 waterproof case. It was the BEST pre-vacation purchase we made! It was so nice to drop the camera into the case and leave it there the entire trip! We were able to take amazing photos and even videos of the entire vacation, and now have remarkable images to look back on it. We giggled to ourselves every time we saw a resort guest in the ocean or pool w/ their expensive digital camera trying to not get it wet... meanwhile we were dipping ours in the water and not thinking twice about it! We were stopped several times by other resort guests

Canon WP-DC14 Underwater Housing - Front Loading
I highly recommend this case for two reasons. Great underwater photos and to protect your investment from all the elements at the beach. I was so worry free knowing that my camera was sealed in this case around the sand and water. My only complaint is that sometimes you can't see your object through the view finder if there is any glare from the sun or water. I wish they would come up with an anti glare view finder. Overall experience is been great.
