I agree with the other positive comments. I really like the 45.2 width. No other 50" TV can fit into a space that narrow. Price, picture, controls, lack of sports motion blur, light weight, energy savings, deep blacks, etc. are all as good as it gets. I am not worried about the bulb blowing after warranty. I've seen them online for $120 delivered and changing them is explained in the manual. A slight minus is that it apparently doesn't play PAL DVD discs native. You will have to get a DVD player that does the PAL to NTSC conversion. More seriously, if you need to view the TV with your head above or below the screen or more than 45 degrees off center, you should not buy this or any other DLP model. Also, it is not wall mountable.

This is the first product I am taking the time to review. Not my first wallmount, but this one was so easy and saved me so much time I felt it deserved a review. All the parts and more were included. Simply Drill 4 holes into the studs to attach to your wall, then use the included screws that fit your tv to mount the bracket to your TV. After that it just sits on top with 2 little screws for extra safety. I highly recommend this, the mount I bought before for a different tv had issues with moving a few degrees left and right, and wasn't near as sturdy as this one which gives me great peace of mind.

We did our research for months and this was the "best of breed" for us. We wanted a display that would do it all, games, HD, PC, HD-3D, and this was the ticket! The first unit that arrived was defective, visible line along the bottom of the screen which looked like a manufacturing defect and did bend the image. Amazon was very cool and shipped out a replacement in three days. WOW, great customer service there! We now have HDTV, Karoke, Wii, PS2, XBox, PC, Laptop, DVD Player-1080p upscaled, all connected and not a problem with any of them! This unit will not hang on the wall but the slimline footprint is great and it only weighs 50 pounds. Lots of connections on the side, we connected the optical out to our home theater (JVC) and processing the 5.1 surround sound is done very well. Fast action sports broadcasts in HD look spectacular on this TV, no ghosting or image bleeding as with our plasma TV. Overall we are very satisfied with the unit, the finish is very rich looking. We

This is my first HDTV. I chose this for the long LED life, no color wheel, and basically great bang for the buck. The dimensions are accurate and it fit perfect into our armoire. The sound is great even though it's completely enclosed in the armoire, but we had to experiment with the different audio settings. I believe we settled on "gaming". There is a small text streaking effect, it's hard to describe. It's really only visible with white text on a black background. Samsung provides a 1 year in home warranty with this TV and a technician will be out in a couple of days to help diagnose the problem or replace the set. I cannot tell you how awesome this is. Buy a TV online, encounter problem, technician arrives to home as part of standard Samsung warranty. If you are like me, buying a TV like this online might be a little nerve wracking, but rest assured Electronics Expo and Samsung will take care of you. I wasn't even on hold at the retailer or the manufacturer for more than

Then this is perfect, especially if you want to pay less than $1200 (that's right LESS than $1200) for that beautiful picture. If you are ever going to want to wall-mount your TV, then this is NOT for you. I have no such plans so this TV perfect for me. This might just be the perfect TV for you as well.
I got to watch the "LOST" season finale (Season 4 - on May 29) on this beauty in HD. Absolutely beautiful. This TV was made for shows like that. The 3 women I watched the finale with (who know next to nothing about HDTVs) kept on talking about the quality of the picture. I've also found that it works pretty well on the shows / stations that are not yet broadcast in HD, but let's face it: this TV was meant for HD. HD programming (from Comcast - my cable provider) ranges from "a little better than non-HD" to "breathtakingly beautiful" depending on what you are watching. I've had more than a few "Whoah" moments, both in watching HDTV programming and in watching my DVDs on the Samsung

Excellent picture quality, very easy to setup, Anynet feature works great with Samsung DVD1080P8 as well as ATT Uverse remote. The picture is so good it beats LCD model. I did my research well and find that the picture on this TV is comparable to Samsung series 6 LCD and just as good as Sony XBR4. The contrast level is very good even in bright room. It does take a few second when you turn it on to reach the full brightness but it doesn't bother me at all. The best thing is the price is about half of LCD of the same size and one third of Sony XBR....you can't beat that. Amazon white glove delivery is great and they call to set up delivery at my convenience and 2 days before schedule...that was excellent.

We just installed our 50" Panasonic Viera Plasma on this mount, and it went up great. The only complaint I have it that once the TV is on the wall, it is kind of hard to get the cords behind the TV (at least to see what you are doing) because it doesn't tilt up very far. Other than that minor complaint, we love it!

Great delivery Service. Great product. Sturdy, wll made and low profile to wall behind Tv. Easy enough for handyman to install with a drill, tape measure, level, and ability to locate wall studs. Would definitely recommend product and service.MLT25

I purchased this wall mount basically because of the price. Of course i googled the product and could not find it under $100. Ordering was easy and it arrived before the estimated arrival date. The Sanus wall mount is high quality steel and very sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow and all the extra hardware was great allowing for installation onto any wall. Even if you are not handy, it is easy to install. This product is outstanding. When i am ready to upgrade from my 50" to a 60" i will be looking for this product again. Overstock out did themselves on this one.

This product worked out great because at first I was not sure about it being mounted on the fireplace. It looked great and I highly recommend this item to everbody. Great product, great price so what are you waiting for purchase it!

I bought the mount for a Samsung Series 5, 46" LCD TV, model LN46A550. The manufacturer didn't specify if this model would work or not, I assume since it is one of Samsung's newer lines. However I noticed that it did work on lots of other Samsungs so I decided to give it a shot. It worked just fine. The mount is a nice heavy gauge metal construction and assembly was straight forward. I highly recommend a tilting mount vs a fixed one so you can tilt the TV up to attach cords. Otherwise you have no space to work with unless the TV comes totally off of the mounting bracket. I paid $75 on Amazon.com vs $250 for a similar mount at the big box electronic stores and I am completely satisfied.

Quick delivery and easy to install. As I am no handyman, ease of installation is important to me. The price is about 1/3 that advertised elsewhere, so it is a great value.

I have very limited carpentry/handyman skills, however, even for me, this was simple to install. We have a 46 inch Samsung Flat Panel LCD and I hung it on the wall in less than 1 hour. Very simple, and very sturdy. The unit looks great!

I mounted the TV within 30 minutes by myself! I definitely recommend having a second person when hanging the television...a little awkward. Tilting feature comes in handy when attaching cords

I have a 32" Sharp LCD - This mount was super easy to install and it came with many different types of nuts and bolts for securing the TV to the mount.

I bought this mount in order to wall mount a Panasonic TH-50PX75U 50" plasma. It worked perfectly and was very easy to put up. I looked at some of the big box stores, and couldn't see why I should pay $200-400 for a mount, when I could get one from Amazon for much less...and I wasn't disappointed. After I took my 100 lb tv box up two flights of stairs, I was convinced that I needed to hire a professional to mount it. But as soon as I saw it cost between $300 and $400 to have this done, I decided to tackle the job myself. I am glad I did, because it was very simple.
The first thing to do, prior to ordering this mount, is to make sure that you know where the studs are in your wall. This mount works in wood, concrete, and cinder block. For wooden studs, it will work in two or three studs, just make sure they aren't more than 24" apart from the outsides. The mount backing is wider than that, but you want to mount in the middle of the studs. Also, verify that it will work with your tv.

This mount is strong. No flimsy parts on this baby. Only minor problem was that to mount my Sony 40 inch flat screen LCD, I had to purchase 6mm X 18m screws, as the 12 mm screws that came with this mount were too short. the Sony has the threaded mount inserts recessed about 4 or 5 mm. The mount did come with very long 6mm screws, but they were much too long, as they were intended for use with TV's that had a curved back and required the included spacers.

Just wanted to drop a quick note that the tilt mount we purchased came as advertised and at an unbelieveable savings for us. We were looking at 300.00 for one and ended up getting this one for less than a 1/3 of that.
Great Deal! Set-up was painful, but alot of that had to do with us mounting the television into brick vice the mount itself.
Thanks

I purchased a generic mount from another website and although it was much less expensive it was also more cheaply built. I returned it and bought the Sanus which I knew from previous experience that it was a better mount. I prefer to pay a bit more for a mount that is designed well and is easy to install and adjust.
