I have owned my View for a month and I love it even more than when I first got it. I will tell you about all the complications I have had, how I overcame them, and why this player rocks my world.
The View is small, like the nano and provides equally excellent sound, photo/video quality. It comes in 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32GB, but trumps the iPod with its memory expansion slot which allows you to add up to an additional 16GB of data for just the memory card's price. Be aware however that it only takes microSD chips, which for most people needs an adapter, but an 8GB card can be bought for $20 with an adapter, so it still isn't bad.
Upon receiving my sansa view, I knew instantly that it would be prone to scratches and fingerprints, especially since the screen and the player itself are one, so I recommend buying at least a screen protector. The material of the player is more similar to the first generation iPod nano, which doesn't feel as cheap as the new generations of iPod. The face of the

This is my first MP3 player and I wasn't expecting it to be that great, since everyone seems to be in love with the Apple ipod mated with itunes software. Boy was I in for a surprise. Not only did this player fulfill my expectations, it made me a believer in SanDisk products.
Since I listen to the radio a lot, I really appreciate the built in radio; which by the way, works great. The only time you'll have a reduction in sound quality is when you are in an elevator, or in an underground parking lot. Otherwise, the sound is as good as a car radio when you are out in the open.
You won't be able to use itunes with this unit. You have to use Windows Media Player. WMP may seem a little confusing at first, so just make sure you have the latest version of the player, and you should be OK.
One reviewer complained about not being able to charge the player through his PC. SanDisk mentions that not all PC's will be able to charge the player when the computer is OFF; but it will always change with

I ordered this card to use with my Sony Ericsson W580i so I could use it as an 8GB mp3 player (Walkman feature). The order came in a little later than I expected due to Hurrican Ike (I live in Houston), but it was more or less timely. The card was exactly as described, 8GB with a MMS Pro adapter, and also included a glass-clear case. The phone read the card immediately. The transfer speed from my computer to the card was around 430kbps. I have yet to put my whole WMP library on it.
Pros:
Inexpensive (compared to $99.99)
Ultra-compatible with MMS micro devices
Sleek clear case
MMS Pro Adapter
High transfer speeds
Great Quality
High Performance
Cons:
what cons?

I've never been one who submits product reviews, however, oddly enough I do research them before buyting something. On this particular product I read the reviews before I purchased this product, and it seems that there is a lot of mixed feelings over it. I was almost shying away from buying it, and then I found it on Amazon for a really great price, so I went for it.
My motivation to get it was I'm a formity type buyer, when I bought my Zune 8G I was dissapointed there was no sport band for it. A year agod I switched my life from Mac to PC (yes i'm a PC!) and the Zune was part of that change over. I could have bought a different sports band, but waited, as I knew it would not be long before this product existed.
What the reviews said was that it was "small", that it was not durable, that it was difficult to get in and out of it's sleeve, that the touch pad did not work, and that you could not leave it in the band while charging.
Well regarding the small accusation, unless your Hulk

I didn't see any reviews for this product, so I wanted to let you know that the 8GB (7.4GB usable) works on my BlackBerry 8310.
Interestingly, although the BB showed 8GB with the new card, I only saw 4GB (3.2 or 3.4GB usable) when I first connected to my laptop and the computer asked to format the card when I enabled Mass Storage Mode (I used this mode to drag and drop into the BB). I could only see 4GB on my work computer as well.
However, after standalone reformatting the card (to FAT32) on my friends Compaq both of my computers (and phone) now properly see it as an 8GB card. My computer and phone information is below.
laptop: Win XP Pro w/ 4.2.2.12 BB Desktop Manager
work computer: BB desktop manager 4.6.0.12 with win2k pro
phone: curve 8310 with firmware: v4.2.2.170 and AT&T as provider
I'm looking forward to using the expanded storage!

This is the best PC i've owned yet. I bought it through HP's website because I had a $400 coupon they offered. The speed of this machine is very noticable when taking advantage of the quad-core processors to do video encoding. The 64 bit operating system worried me at first because I didn't think some software would be compatible, but almost anything I put on it runs perfectly fine. I customized it and got a 512 NVidia 9500GS video card, digital/analog tv tuner (which does wonders), 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM, dvd burner, and 250 gig hard drive. I researched for weeks, and this PC couldn't be beaten. Even after creating a custom PC on newegg, after I had all the parts in my shopping cart, it was more expensive to build than to buy this. Highly recommend this to anyone. Good for gaming, video editing, general use. HP support is great! American support, no overseas crap that you have with Dell. Quality parts. I also took apart the PC and added a 500 GB drive, which took less than 10 minutes

This is a great value for stick memory. Would have given 5 stars but the physical dimensions of the package can interfere with using adjacent USB ports.

After about 3 months things started going down hill really fast. After leaving it in the car on a summer day something went wrong with the with the power saver. I'd charge it over night and the next morning it would be dead. I'd listen to it for 5 minutes, turn it off, then turn it back on and it would be at half power. Recently the screen broke. That just gave me a good reason to get rid of it.
Trust me, keep looking.

This SanDisk Sansa View 8 GB Video MP3 Player is packed with features at a price that is far below what you would expect to pay for this level of features and quality. First the screen is the perfect size for portability, it is neither too big to be portable nor too small to make it hard to view. You can download and watch full length movies as well as most other videos and photos. Of course you can download a tremendous number of songs but, for those times when you don't want to bother with downloading new songs or simply want to listen to something different, you can also listen to the built in FM Radio with presets. This unit can also be used as a voice recorder great for meetings or classes. This unit feels substantial in your hands and features very easy to use controls. This is a feature packed powerhouse at a budget friendly price. If you are looking for the features of an iPod video but don't want to pay the high price then this is the player for you! I would not hesitate for one

The SanDisk Ultra II SDHC 4GB bundle package is a great solution for photographers that require high octane memory now. Combined with my Nikon D3, read & write performance is incredible. The Ultra II SDHC card brings a lot of bang for the buck. It should be noted that this next generation SD flash card is not compatible with all digital camera systems. It will not support most cameras manufactured before 2005 and the card cannot be read in a standard card reader. However, the MicroMate Reader will operate with all SD cards. It performs well with both my Dell and HP systems. This reader can be purchased separately for about $8 bucks. As with all SanDisk products, the card carries a great lifetime warranty.

After about 8 months of use of the 8gb Sansa View, I decided I should write a review of my experiences. I did quite a bit of research and choose the View over the Creative Zen. My requirements in the video mp3 were to be a minimum of 8gb, cost effective, and radio (which ruled out any ipod). The expansion slot was also a much needed bonus, which was crippled on the Zen (i.e. files on the expansion card were much more limited).
PROS:
Good screen quality that is large enough in my opinion to watch videos.
Micro SD/HC expansion slot is fully integrated with files on main memory.
Being able to drag and drop files onto player
Multiple video formats supported.
Menu and buttons are easy to use
Sound quality is good
FM Radio can automatically search and save local stations.
Good battery life and quick charging (~2 hours)
Good size in my opinion, not too big, not super small.
CONS:
Limited personalization of menu
Playlist can only be 500 files
Can be more tedious than nessary to sort through

I'm using this without any problems in my W580i from AT&T. Sony's website lists the maximum card capacity as 2GB in one place and 4GB in another, but I suspect that these values may just have come from what cards were available on the market at the time of writing.

Excellent product! My only complaint is that no really detailed instructions were included, and so I wound up learning a little about how this product interfaces with my computer by trial and error, which did waste a bit of my time. Once I figured one or two things out, tho, I found this little MP3 to be user-friendly, and very enjoyable. It has great sound, and I am enjoying listening to my local NPR station alot more easily than I do on my old school dial radio in my bedroom.
I especially love having so many of my favorite songs at my fingertips, and the size and weight are great advantages for my upcoming vacation, as I will be traveling by bus, and this is alot less cumbersome than my old CD player and 40 CDs would've been. The graphics are easy to understand, and the red color is so me! Cudos also to Amazon -- this thing arrived with lightning speed, very impressive, and it gave me plenty of time to rip and sync. One accoutrements package later, and it was all good. Alot of

The kingston 4gb datatraveler is a great product. Easy to use, convenient to travel with, holds an abundence of data and pictures. I would highly recommend this item. In fact I bought two of them myself.

i actually bought this player at Best Buy but i thought i'd write the same review i did on best buy site and hopefully it would help some people make decisions.
I was looking for an mp3 player with radio and voice recording feature which crossed out ipod off my list and led me to sansa fuze. i gave 4 star because i had some trouble with converting and putting videos in the player.
Design
i was worried a little bit when i was pictures online because it looked very shiny and plastic. i bought it anyway cause it met my needs. it really looks nothing like the picture, the red is dark and rich, the shininess doesn't look cheap at all and the wheel is matte (is that the right word? kinda like brushed metal) like the back, which makes this player look really high quality in my opinion. i was very happy when i opened the box to see all this.
Features
i only had this for couple of days, but no major problems so far. i've only tested out audio, video, and radio. the sound quality is really great

Let me start off by saying that this is an excellent case. It's tough and fits great, as advertized. I do have a couple small gripes though. First the included screen protector is pretty worthless. It's one of those thin, sticker thingees. You can improvise a better one though by trimming a piece of the packaging down to size- it's this long, clear, and tabbed plastic piece. Second I wish the scroll wheel was exposed as the covering hinders the functionality a bit, you have to click instead of just dragging your finger accross it (petty I know). Third, as with the other Speck product that I purchased, the belt clip is set a little high up on the case of my tastes- I would prefer one that is more or less centered on the player. Again these are pretty small gripes, and should not dissuade anyone from purchasing this quality product.

I also have two of these cards. They have multiple read/right failures and are not recognized by computers (tested on 4 separate systems). The cards only seem to work in my camera and pictures can only be transferred through connecting the camera to a computer. I tried them in my Garmin nuvi 360 and one actually was recognized but when trying to transfer mp3s the same read/right/recognition problems occurred.
Do not buy these junk cards!

The product feels very light which can be misleading that it is cheap. However, I have not had any problems yet and for four gigs it's all good (large and in charge).

Works great. Lots of space. Small enough to carry on my keychain. (which I do!) I'm quite pleased with this. I've owned several Lexar firefly flash drives, upgrading to larger ones when I run into situations that demand more space than I currently have. Transfer speeds aren't that great with USB 2.0 but the convenience factor is huge!

This is a very good product for the money. The picture quality is great and the sound quality is awsome. The headphones that come with the player are very uncomfortable, I recommend buying a new set. Also , even though this product itself is great there really is no accesories to go with it.
