Great TV, great picture...easy set up. The TV wobbles on the stand. Has to be hard wired into a network. Not able to use a wireless network card in the USB slot.

Sauder Meretto TV Stand for Flat-Panel or Tube TVs Up to 46" - Black

We got this for our TV & electronics, our last entertainment center was very large so we were down-sizing. This holds all of our electronics, including the DVD player, cable box, stereo receiver, PS3 & Wii. Drawers are large & hold all our movies, video games & remotes. This does show the dust really easily, you have to keep it clean constantly. Also needs to be wiped down with a rag instead of just dusted. Back cover doesn't allow you to get to the back of the electronics, we took the top of the cover off so all the electronics are exposed in the back to allow for air flow & easy movement of cables.

I was in Best Buy getting a new plasma to replace my old panasonic plasma, the salesman talked me into this 240H LCD tv. I got it home and immediately missed my old plasma tv. Every action scene was a little blurry. I took it back, and returned it for a panasonic plasma tv with a 600H refresh rate for less money. I think LCD/LED will eventually be the standard, but right now, nothing beats a plasma!

While it was working it looked and sounded great. But a month after I bought it, while watching tv it went dark. No picture, no sound, nothing. Pathetic performance for a brand new tv.

I have this TV almost 2 months now and I want to make sure before I write a review. I don’t want to jump into conclusion real quick. This is my second Samsung TV and I love my old 60 Mhz one.

Well, I have the tell the picture is amazing, it converts the 60 MHz input signal to 120 MHz and then display to the TV. When you are watching the movie from HBO or others movie channels, you are really enjoying the crystal clear picture. However, the reason I bought this TV is for NFL game. After watching the games for few weeks, I realized the TV has lacking when focusing the one person is running, or the ball in the middle of the air. I think this is only happen the motion so fast and the TV not able to sync up. I am not sure this issue will be fixed in 240 Mhz TV.

Again, it is good TV over all.

I just bought this TV from another retailer. Great TV and a great price (less than $800!!). I really prefer the plasma picture over LCD. Truer blacks and no fast motion rendering problems due to the 600Hz speed. Even if you don't need the true black image, you can't find a 46" LCD running at 240Hz (currently the top LCD speed) for the same price point. I am very impressed with the TV and wish I could find the same bargain on a 55 - 60" model for my family room!

After 2-1/2 weeks and four other TVs (Samsung 50'' plasma, RCA 46'' LCD Scenium, Philips 47'' LCD, and Vizio 47'' LCD) I can finally relax and enjoy this HD set.
Issues were too critical with each of the other four; this one is absolutely BEST OVERALL. Picture is even better than the sharp I was chasing. I will hold. The others are also fairly good products, just not the right ones for me.
Issues had ranged from warranty shortfall, lack of aspect ratio control, to poorer sound and picture quality. I was getting so good at repacking the sets that a store employee commented that it looked as though the box was never opened!
This set passed ALL tests including playstaion 3 gaming.
I can only hope it will last the rest of my natural life so I can avoid this adventure in the future....

This is in answer to joebob21's poor review. Joebob had to be using something other than a high quality HDMI cable. Becuuse this TV's refresh
rate is at 240htz, you virtually have no pixelation (blur) when you use a top
of the line HDMI cable to feed your cable or satellite signal to this awesome TV. This TV's picture and color quality is so good its almost like your looking at real life instead of a picture. I watch football (Roll Tide!) which has a lot of motion, I have not seen ANY blur, only perfection!

We purchased this TV for $1299 and started having difficulties with this TV a year and a month after we bought it. When we turn the TV on all we see are vertical lines, but you can still hear the sound. After about 15 minutes the picture may start working again. This was the worst high dollar purchase ever. We didn't think we would need to purchase an extended warranty because a TV is supposed to last a lifetime. I am so disappointed in this product and will never purchase a Toshiba product AGAIN!

I bought this tv just over 1 year ago & along the top of my screen it looks like I've hung Christmas ornaments. It's not so noticeable on darker shots but if it goes to a light screen color you can see shadows along the top of the screen. I tried to clean them off but it's in the screen not on it. Warranty is up so I just get to look at it....Wish I would've waited til these came down in price - $1400 at the time for a 42"!

Amazing. There is every single output, and input. There are so many features, and the picture is amazing. The sound beats the *ahem* out of my old CRT TV, so no complaints at all. Only small annoyance is when the TV is on, the "SONY" logo at the bottom is lit. Otherwise, amazing! Thank you Tim for your help. I love this thing. Amazing with the PS3, HDMI and eveything is beautiful; I was, and still am blown away.

I will preface my remark by saying that I've only had this set a short time as of this writing, so the reader can qualify accordingly. Coming off a plasma 42" from a different manufacturer that died unceremoniously after 3 years, the Bravia 46" is a wonderful blend of design, features, and functionality (and hopefully, reliability!). I especially liked the side panel connectivity ports, and the fact that there are ample HDMI imputs. Picture issues of earlier LCDs, such as blue tinted blacks, off center viewing clarity, appear to have been successfully addressed, and the picture is absolutely beautiful....stunning when watching a 'Blu-ray' DVD. Picture was easily fine tuned to preference, as are all other settings. One weak point, noted by others as well, is the sound quality, which is adequate, but lacks horsepower. I would imagine the manufacturers assume most people so concerned will use the set in conjunction with a stand alone sound system, but I feel the set's sound should be beefier.

I recieved this TV as an upgrade from my past Sharp LCD which died after 3.5yrs under the Best Buy Performance Service Plan.

Out of the box the TV was very simple to hook up to my current off the wall cable outlet, Xbox360, Blu Ray player and stereo receiver. The built in tuner picked up multiple HD stations straight off of my Basic cable outlet with no need for a HD box from my cable provider. The quality of the picture was outstanding, and made me wonder why I had purchased an HD package from my service provider in the past.

The sound on the set is comparable to any other TV set on the market. Its excellent for watching shows and movies. But if you want the whole "Home Theater" experience, you would definately want to upgrade to a home theater system. There is no static, or tinny sounds like others have said to experience.

I have used both my Xbox360 and Blu Ray player on this TV and have not noticed any motion blur or lag with the picture or sound. It works

This product is an excellent stand for the price. It is well contructed and heavy. The drawers slide in and out really easy and hold a lot of things. I am very pleased. It is very hard to put together though, and this will take two people. You ahd to refer to the on line directions and this item had a lot of screws. Please follow instructions to the Teee. It looks great in the house and is the perfect size for the TV.

I kind of expected that the price could have been cheaper for the quality of the TV. The picture can be somewhat grainy at times and the sound is not up to par for such a large TV.

The biggest improvement that this TV could make would be to drop the price dramatically.

i hated this tv the second i hooked it up in my house. it looked a lot better at the store, but even with HD channels on this tv it still looks grainy and like garbage. for the price i expected a better tv, but i was sorely wrong.

this tv is over priced. if it was $500 i would be fine with it but im taking it back and getting a name brand. worst tv ever.

I bought the TV on a friends recomindation and the sales person knowledge. What i didn't know was the IR problem. I went through 3 cable boxes before I found a cable guy that had heard of the problem and gave me an older cable box. My cable remote wouldn't work with the DVR box from motorola. I like the TV other than the week i spent trying to find a fix.
