Great TV stand! I have this glass stand in my bedroom holding my 32" flat screen TV, cable box and DVD player. The glass shelves are nice ,heavy and very spacious. Easy to put together. I am glad I did not get the stand with the doors.

I have had this set less than 2 weeks and I can find no shortcomings.Of course I do not do a lot of stuff that other people do.I have not tried the extras
The speakers are unnoticeable but they sound fine.

I Initially had problems getting the TV to start up the day that I brought it home, but unplugged it a few times and everything worked great. The picture is very nice, sound quality is OK, but for the price it can't be beat. This is for our bonus room, so it doesn't get watched every day. A few days after purchasing, the TV turned on (blue light came on), but no sound or picture and it wouldn't turn off with the remote or the power button on the unit. After unplugging it a few times, it finally powered on just fine. After sitting overnight, the same thing happened the next day. I have not been able to get the TV to turn on consistently and plan on returning it to the store.

Picked this beauty up yesterday, replacing my Toshiba 32' lcd, wow what a difference!! I was going to get the Sony 40" lcd, but this tv was $60 cheaper. I put it on my desk, so I am about 4ft. away when viewing, and it is like a being in a movie theatre. I use a reciever for all my audio, so I can't comment on the tv speakers, I highly recommend everyone does the same. I was worried about getting a glare on the glass screen, but there is no issue with that. My Best Buy didn't have one on display, so I had to do a blind buy, no regrets yet. This is the first plasma I have ever owned, hopefully it lasts a long time, will be picking up the 4 year protection plan later this month. Still haven't figured out how the Viera works, but only had the tv for one day.

This is an excellent TV especially when you get it and a Surround Sound system w/ an up-converting DVD for $799. (sale going on thru 11/21).

At Samsungs website and some other online retailers this TV was stated as having 1024*768 resolution however here at BB.com it says 1360*768 after hooking my PC up to it I can confrim it has a 1360*768 resolution.

Also for those who don't understand the 600hz sub-field drive feature it is referring to the refresh of the cells in the Plasma screen not the vertical refresh rate of the entire screen. In other words this feature eliminates any chance of motion blur or ghosting due to a fast moving image however it draws 60 frames per second not 120 frames like some of the 120hz LCDs do. This is not really a bad thing as No media except for some PC games runs higher then 60fps anyway. The 120hz or more TVs use a feature called frame doubling to make up for lack of frames and to me this can lead to an unusual and almost nauseating look

Great TV so far. Took longer to build the TV stand then it took to setup the TV. Tuned in all the HD channels on initial setup. I have not had any of the voice sync issues mentioned in other reviews. Volume is ok for casual listening. I turn on the surround system for movies.

Met all expectations of the price point.

first off, i am so surprised by this tv based off of the reviews.

there are no sound/mouth issues as stated in all the reviews prior to mine. im guessing LG fixed this issue. I have cox digital cable and no HD at this time. with this tv hooked up to regular digital cable, it still looks amazing. the 120hz really is noticeable and it looks real.

the color is deep and crisp and boy is this tv BRIGHT! not bright in a bad way, but bright as in really giving those reds blues oranges and greens and FLOURSCENT look to them.

i have a wd HD TV LIVE (which i reccomend everyone get) and i have it connected to my new LG set with a rocketfish hdmi. now, i can stream all my dvd, blu ray rips and digital downloads right from my computer.

i can even use this tv as a monitor if i choose.

what makes the samsung line better is only the higher color contrast. the 40 inch samsungs have 100000:1.

but the way i look at it, this tv is 42 inches and it has a

I went and picked this TV up in Best Buy's local store. I must commend Best Buy for using Transformers on BluRay to show off this TV. The vibrant picture and fast action sold me instantly on this TV. I have seen $800-$1000 TVs that don't look as good as this $500-$600 Dynex. I play Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2, and these games look phenomenal. I also watch a wide variety of movies like Transformers and Iron Man, and this picture will blow you away. I have already suggested this TV to my mother and my neighbor. I will most likely buy another one when the price drops again. For $499 you can't beat this anywhere !!!

Omnimount SW2 Table Top Swivel Fits up to 42-Inch Flat/27-Inch CRT Television (Espresso)

These are hard to find in stores but thank goodness Amazon sells everything. This item is a great price, well constructed, sturdy and to top it off all you need is a screwdriver for one screw and the assembly is done! Turns easily with no squeaks or grinding noises. You have a choice of sides to use, either a shiny black finish or espresso (very dark brown) with grain grooves. It was a perfect fit for my daughter's 37 inch HDTV which sits on top of a tall dresser. Great product for such an affordable price.

We paid less for this 42 inch than the smaller LCD televisions. Great picture contrast and great during fast action in movies. Very clear and brilliant color. We don't subscribe to HD and don't plan to, so regular tv is a little fuzzy but that's because my husband wanted the 42 inch instead of smaller. We got it mainly for movie night anyway and watching DVDs on it is great.

I had looked at HD TV's quite a bit. I had always gravitated towards Plasmas especially over the 60Hz models. The 120 HZ LCDs really bridged the gap. I had narrowed my choices to the this TV and the 42" 120hz Insignia LCD. The picture quality is awesome and it was easy to set up. I had read some reviews about it having average Audio quality, but I think it's fine. I am currently using the Optical Audio out to feed it back to my receiver as it doesn't have HDMI inputs. It sounds great either way. For the price it's a great entry level TV. I purchased a Samsung Blu-ray player as well and DVD's, Blu-ray, DirectV HD looks flawless. So far, truly happy with my purchase.

My parents had this TV and paid 700 for it less than a year ago. I used to use it all the time when i lived there. I used it to watch Hd channels and play xbox 360 and was impressed with the picture quality. Recently moved out saw this TV for 500 and knew it was a steal, especially if you can get a bestbuy credit card no interest for 18 months. Great TV satisfied, quality is equal or better than vizio and Toshiba high def tvs i or my parents own

Great tv. Had previous Panasonic plasma so figured I couldn't go wrong with this purchase. Sound could be better just like the previous model but because I've had zero problems with the first one I got this one.

This Tv Is wonderful I recommend it to anyone looking for a new Tv. The price is unbeatably it was only $799 the picture looks more like 1080p than 720P it also has a really slick design so if your look for a new tube check this one out!!! The only minor thing is when switching between inputs it takes a couple seconds put really its no big deal.

the plasma went bad at exactly 2 years, 2 months from date of purchase, it would cost 800.00 to replace, I paid 1200.00 for a tv for 2 years. the company refused to help at all, I hate this tv.

I bought my Plasma TV months ago i wanted to wait so i could give a honest review. The televison in my opinion is a great TV. I like Panasonic Product. I bout a Panasonic TV back in 2000 and if it was'nt for this whole digital change I would still have my TV (gave to my nephew). Watching HD channel is as if you are right in the middle of everything. The Yankee's world series game was +++++++++. For those people who have had bad luck with this TV you have to remember when these things are being shipped it is people who handle them. I have had broken SONY, SAMSUNG, ETC. and in the end its just about what we like. Each person has their own opinion. That is why there are so many different product so we can have choices. This Plasma TV is great and for those people who have bought one and like it i am quite sure they have no complaints. Unlike LCD the people look more real on a Plasma TV. GO PANASONIC ON A GREAT PRODUCT THUS FAR.

I did a lot of research before the purchase. Talk about getting bang for the buck! The image is incredible, especially in Blu-Ray, and not to shabby on DVD. NO motion blur at all. And the nay-sayers that complain about "don't hang this in a room with lots of windows/lighting" all I can say is... get some neutral or dark curtains, dim the lights and you will not be disappointed. Its better than any LCD we looked at which would have cost more. LED is close, but the price for a comparable unit is just insane. True that the sound is not sensational, but thats what 5.1 and 7.1 systems are for anyway. I've never had a TV that had super quality sound and I didn't expect it to.

I purchased thisTV in October 2009 after researching and reviewing several TVs. I was a little skeptical as I am normally a "Name Brand" consumer. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy set up and user friendly features. Great picture and you will not find a better price for a 42 inch LCD.
As stated in previous reviews, remote control range and sound quality could be better. I am so impressed with the TV I purchased the DYNEX upconvert DVD player this past week and it is a perfect fit. Can't lose price and quality.

I have had this TV for about 4 months now and I am very pleased with everything about it. The only slight problem I had with it was getting my DirecTV remote to work with it and had to find the remote code online but I got it to work in about 10 min. I don't know why anyone would pay twice the price for the same size TV for a big name brand because this TV looks great and I wouldn't be anymore pleased if I would have bought a big name brand TV. This TV has many inputs and you can hook up everything and anything you have. Don't be afraid to buy this just because of the great price because it is a great product!
