If you are buying a labtop for the first time or just replacing the one you have this computer has it all, and the price is not bad either. With the 4 gb DDR3 memory and the 500 md harddrive is more than enough for everyday needs. Also the built in Webcam, WiFi and 17.3" screen are a added bonus. With Windows 7 as the operating system, it is really no different than Vista. There are only a few difference between the 2 OS, should make for an easy transition.

Overall this Garmin 265WT GPS is full of features for the price. The initial setup was relatively easy, however it took a little bit longer than I imagined (about 45 minutes) just to reach the first contact with the 3 satellites. The unit comes with lifetime traffic updates, which I will have to wait and see if that is useful or not. Most features were easy to use, but the user manual is not detailed enough for me. I went right to my computer to easily connect & register the unit and download the one free update to the maps. Keep in mind that the download for this unit was over 2 GB. After installing the updated map, the GPS stopped working properly as it had no idea of where it was (in this case Ohio). I contacted tech support, who were able to help me solve the issue in a friendly, polite manner. It turned out that something wasn't quite right with the new uploaded map, which was downloaded to a PowerPC Macintosh iBook. I re-downloaded the map from a Windows XP computer, installed

Let me start by saying that I'm an enthusiast, and love taking pictures although I have much to learn about photgraphy. That being said, I've actually owned a couple of these Stylus Tough 8000 series cameras. The main selling point of this camera has got to be its extreme toughness. You can take it practically anywhere under almost any conditions. That's why I have one of these cameras. Its great to take on a hike, when you don't want to carry a bigger DSLR, but still want reasonably good pictures. Its rugged, surviving the occasional drop that would break most every other camera.
Probably my favorite feature is the Panaramic mode which allows you to take wonderfully easy panaramic shots. The camera can even stitch them together for you on the fly. Which is really cool when you're on top of a mountain somewhere and want to make sure that the pic turned out the way that you wanted it to.
If you're going to be outdoors and are looking for a light weight point and shoot that

We owned a cyber shot that after a few years and many drops broke. We love this camera, the picture quality is the best! It is very easy to use as well. When we bought our new cybershot we were dissapointed in the zoom capibility. We ordered our new cyber shot camera on line and didn't get to play with it before our purchase. I would highly recommend going into the store to view the camera because when we went to return it, we had to pay an expensive restocking fee even though the box and contents were in new condition. If a zoom isn't that important, I would highly recommend this camera, we loved it, untill we wanted to photograph sports at a distance.

I traded a HP THAT I BOUGHT AND OWNED LESS THAN 24 HOURS BECAUSE IT GAVE ME A BLUE SCREEN AND SHUT DOWN 3 TIMES , FOR THE BEST LAPTOP I HAVE EVER OWNED HANDS DOWN.

I am please about the new type of LED screen, but I was disappointed when I realized it didn't have a fire wire connection. Sad to think that a older model macbook has more to offer than my new updated macbook. I am still pleased about having a Intel CPU, instead of a G5. Now I can run Windows or Mac OS, but not a fan of Windows, but good to have the option.

I have my first grandchild. Naturally I want to take lots of pictures. This camera lets me excellent pictures without using the flash. I'm able to get great close-ups without being bothersome with a flash. It's small enough to carry in a pants or coat pocket.

Its a great little camera with easy operation. And I do love the size of the camera , as you can carry it everywhere you go with no problem at all.
I do like the quality of the picture, and ease of downloading the pictures to my computer.
I really do love the camera.

Overall the unit is a good GSP. I feel it is a great buy for the money. It has all the important features that I need for my delivery business. I have not used the POI much. The blue toothpoor quality. It is poor because of voice quality and background noise. I do not recommend anyone buying it for that feature. Also, as with all GPS devices, the maps are one to two years out of date. Even the recent down load missed several new streets in my area that have been in service for one to two years.

Bought this to replace my 3rd Kodak camera..This is a well built camera, love the color in yellow. Camera is pretty easy to use, great pictures..I leave mine on Auto setting...then switch it over to P mode to turn the flash off. Make sure you do not leave the Marco on...this will give you a poor picture...only use this for close-ups. ( some of the other reviews mention this...READ THE MANUAL) I'm glad I bought this and I got a good deal on it...it was on sale with free shipping and I had $15 off in Reward points.

It's almost like the previous Sony camera I had, so it's easy to use, pics come out very clear...Have not used enough times quite yet so not much else I can say.

I purchased this camera in May/2009. I had to send it back in July/2009 because the lens would not retract and it was showing me an error message. They sent it back fixed under warranty pretty much hassle free. It broke AGAIN in Oct/2009 with the SAME issue. Lens would not retract and error message. This time however, Cannon wanted to charge me money to fix the camera because they said it was broken because of the scratches I had on the corners of the camera. There were no marks in July and the camera still had the same problem! The scratches were not the cause of this issue! It is a malfunction of the cameras poor quality and I was dissapointed that Cannon would not stand behind there product and fix it! I paid $350 too much for a camera that I had to send back 2 times! They hid behind the scratches on the camera so they would not have to fix the obvious camera malfunction....save your money and go with the Panasonic Lumix, I wish I had!

Massive amount of features but not overwhelming. I am by no means a pro but this camera makes sure you don't need to be. You can play with tons of settings but only if u want to, otherwise it acts like a simple point and shoot.
The zoom is awesome but you really need a tripod beyond 10x.
If I had it to do again I would still buy it.

It was between this and a macbook pro. The entry level macbook pro had the exact same specs but a smaller hard drive. But the pro does have the SD slot and firewire capabilities. For 200 extra dollars, I just didn't think those features were worth it since I have never used firewire in my life and the SD slot is only a minor inconvenience.
I switched from PC to MAC, this is my first mac ever. I love it. There's just so many small things that it does so well. You have to try it out yourself. And although the specs aren't as good as some PC's in the price range, you wont be able to tell because this operating system is so fast. No hang ups or anything so far. So many cool features and the trackpad is amazing. Also, battery life is 10 times (literally) better than my old Dell. I recommend this for sure.

Everything about this is great except the traffic delay notification. That sucks, I cant even use it, it tells me theres going to be a delay after the fact, doesnt give me a chance to reroute before I get on the highway. Other than that, its great. The speed limit indicator is very helpful and the text read function is also nice.

My wife has had the Nuvi 755 for a couple of years and when I bought the 255 I expected to see a dramatic difference, because of the cost difference, and I did not. This unit gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

Min 2 pers to assemble; packaged well, but left more trash than parts to assemble; mounting bar is at a great height to view a 52" LCD flat screen TV.

If you're like me, and like to shoot photos and video, this is the camera for you. To be able to grab one camera for vacations, trips, or gigs...that's cool. You can read all the specs and details about this camera online (there's always somebody that dosen't like something about it), but I just want to say that once you have the camera in your hands and you learn how to use it, it's truely a great camera!

Unbeatable value. Bought as a "desktop replacement" for my son in sophomore year. More than enough here to see him through to college. Especially good value when purchased with Office during the recent promotion.
