PylePro Tilting Wall Mount

I tried to find an affordable wall mount that fit my flat screen in local stores. Those that were available either were overpriced or did not fit as they described. I bought the PylePro Tilting TV Wall mount from OverStock.Com and was immediately satisfied both with price and functionality. The mount was easy to install and the built-in level saved a lot of time and freed up the hands during the installation. Good Work guys. For those that are handyman impaired, this mount is for you. Price is excellant, ease of install excellant and final product results excellant.

Great tv stand just took long to put it together

Love this TV stand. Just got it today at 8am. If you get this tv stand pay for someone else to put it together. It's totally not worth the time and effort to put it together. However it looks just beautiful after it's done..

It's a pretty good product, seems pretty sturdy. Some problems I have with it are 1) the TV keeps moving back and forth across the rail that its connected to and 2) the mounting directions are awful.

A good looking stand for it's price

I bought two sets of these stands for my Front and Surround speakers. For the most part, I do like these stands. What I like: - Height Adjustable: I can adjust these to the proper height for my listening position. - Stable: The stands have a rather large glass base that makes for a stable stand, even on carpet. - Looks: For speaker stands, they look good at least in black. If you have small Front and Surround speakers like the Energy Take Classics they will look good on these stands. Assembly: It was very easy to assemble. I had no problems with overtightened screws, or getting everything to tightly fit together. What I didn't like: - Cable Management: The product says that the cable management will allow up to 14 gauge wire, but my 14 gauge speaker wire from [...] doesn't fit. - Speaker Mounting: I really wish that these had the speaker clamping mount some of the other speaker stands from Omnimount have. Tilt feature kind of sketchy

Overall this product is great, especially for the price I paid for it. The only problem that I have with it, is that at first it didn't seem sturdy enough for my 42 inch tv, however I have had it up for about a month now and all is well but I have never used the tilt feature in fear of it falling. Works great for everything else!

tv wall mount

This is a heavy duty steel wall mount. I used it to mount a 46" Samsung. It is designed to be used on 16" spaced studs! Once everything was tightened, there was no sagging. The hardware seemed to be of good quality and enough provided for a multitude of TV models. The tilt and swivel are just what I needed and are easy to use and sturdy.The instructions are not well written, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. Installation was fairly ease to figure out though. The TV hooks onto the mount and is locked in place with locking bars that prevent it from being dislodged.This is a good value and performs well; I recommend it.

Looks cool . . . but can easily tip over and break your speakers or injure someone.

So I bought these because they look cool. The construction out of metal makes the stand itself sturdy. It does come with the options of spikes (for carpets) or plastic feet (for hardwood floors). However, all the good points is completely offset by the lack of proper balance - this makes this a safety hazard from tipping which can result in damage to the speakers or serious injury to small children, people's feet, and pets. Here's the deal about the balance - these stands are very prone to tipping forward left or forward right. In fact a baby or a cat can easily knock this over - a slight earthquake can knock this over too. And if you live in earthquake country prepare to secure this down tightly. I was so worried about the stands tipping over that I ended up buying sandbags to hold these to the floor - not the greatest thing acoustically, but at least it improves the safety. What's Required to hang a 140Lb TV from the Ceiling

I bought and installed this item for a customer. I'm a custom remodeler and do a wide variety of work for handicap and others with limitations. This unit was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear enough, the fit and finish were fine so I'd say 4 of 5 stars for these aspects. Installation should have been easy, but because the unit is designed to mount on 16" centers, and like most of the homes today the ceiling joists are on 24" centers. My $8 "Stud Finder" had given me a false reading and so I was assuming that the installation would be quick. After test drilling with a 1/16" bit I discovered the error, and got out my $49 finder and located the 24" centers. Now how do you extend the "Base" and not screw a piece of wood to the ceiling, and not crawl through a maze of trusses in a hot attic to build reinforcement? I cut 2 pieces of 1/4" x 1" mild steel 26" long and drilled for the lag screws at 24" and the base mounts at 16". I countersunk the backside for the 16" mounting  more

a little awkard

I actually think this product is great, especially for the price. To find this same kind of product at your local store would be twice the price. The only strange things are that my outlet covers don't fit snugly to the wall with the bracket hanging on the wall, and that I'm never really sure if the apparatus is tilting or not. I want to be sure I'm not breaking it. With that being said it tilts just fine, and I think it's a very low profile leaving the tv very close to the wall. I would get it if you need a mount. Make sure you tv is 26" or bigger though, otherwise you can see the bracket behind the tv.

Great looking stand

We bought this stand for our 50 Inch Plasma and it works great. It has enough room for all of our components and the adjustable shelves leave perfect room for dvds. It did take a long time to put together, but my fiance and I made a day out of it, and it was rather enjoyable. It is a bit of a dust magnet, but that's to be expected having all kinds of pets.

Also, we have 4 foot long hdmi cables connecting everything to our receiver, I would not go under 4 foot cables if you are using this desk, as it is a bit of a tight stretch.

Overall, very nice look for the price, doesn't wiggle a bit and makes the TV look just that much better.

Nice Product, Ugly Color

Functionally I'm pleased. It seems to be well made and sturdy. Unfortunately I'm not happy with the color. The steel body is somewhat of an olive green color, which is not what I was expecting. I considered repainting, but one would either have to mask off each socket or remove them, which means disconnecting the wires and re-wiring. I also have the aluminum bodied power strips. They are less sturdy, but definitely more visually appealing.

Wall Mount

I had researched box stores and found them to be expensive for a wall mount. Easy to understand, I had TV mounted to wall securely in about 10 minutes with all hardware needed in the box

Good product

This was a well built product, simple to install, and I can trust it will not drop my TV.

I wish it could angle in different directions and I wish it wasn't so visible. The only other problem I had with the product was the mount bars got in the way of my video connectors. To solve this I had to slide the TV all the way to one side (farthest adjustment) to make room behind the TV for the connectors.

I would have paid much more for this umbrella!

I was in the wholesale photographic equipment business for almost 20 years and when I saw this umbrella and this price I thought that I would be disappointed. Far from it! There are much nicer, more sturdily built umbrellas on the market but they are hard to find and cost 3-4 times as much. Here are my observations: * The ribs feel like what you would expect from a commercial, "rain-type" umbrella. The nibs are nicely covered with a black plastic cap. * The shaft has a solid plug in the end of it but is hollow. Still, I have not dented it by tightening down on it with the umbrella adapter holding screw. * The liner material is highly reflective silver. A second, black cover is attached to the back of the silver liner. The result is a sharp, contrasty light with no bleed through. All-in-all a decent photographic umbrella at a great price. I give it five stars for quality but I would give it ten for value if I could.

Great product

We purchased this model for our 32 inch flat panel tv. The great thing about this type of mount is that it allows for horizontal adjustment after hanging which prevents you from having to place your tv only where the studs are located. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a built in level on the wall bracket to help you get it right. More than enough hardware is included with the kit as well. Easy to install and the tilt feature works great.

Great Buy

This product is very durable, strong and has a great appearnce. I had to call the customer service twice for unclear instructions, but they were very helpful. It takes about 7 man/women hours to finish the job, but the final product is really worth it. I am very happy with this product.

tv wall mount

as other reviews stated, this was easy to install and appears very sturdy. mine was installed on a brick fireplace wall and i only needed a masonry drill bit and some basic tools. it took about 45 minutes. i would highly recommend.

Great Buy

This wall mount was great, easy to install. It took approximately 1 hr from start to finish including moving all the equiptment. The directions were simple and the product came with a lot of extra screws. it also got to my home very fast, I am not sure if this is true for everyone but I got it in less than 3 days. We almost paid $500 for a similar product in a retail store and this was so much cheaper and it is made the same way. It also does come down approximately 4 inches after it is hung up so use your own judgment when hanging the TV.Audio/Visual is N/A

wall mount

We are happy with the product overall, however, my husband did have to go buy some extra bolts to make it work with the t.v. we bought. It was easy to install and the perfect way to hang a flat screen t.v.

works well

The video monitor works great. I love to watch our new baby in his crib. This is our second child and it is nice to check on him by looking at the monitor and not have our toddler follow me when I check on him and wake him up. There is a weird feature of a night light on the camera, which I don't understand. The problem with this feature is that you can turn this light on by the hand held monitor by accident when you pick it up as the button for it is on the side. This does not work well for us as both my kids sleep in the dark and when I hit this the first time it jolted our toddler awake when she was just starting to doze off. I just try no to hit it, but it sometimes gets accidentally turned on and I don't realize it until I see it over the crib like a beacon. Our 7 month old sleeps in a Pack and Play for nap, which I hang the monitor over the side. He now likes to try to grab it as he likes the red infared lights.
