Tripp Lite eSATA (SATA-II) Signal Cable-36IN ESATA SIGNAL CABLE CABL7PIN/7PIN M/M
I bought this cable together with a 750GB harddrive for expanding my DirecTV's HD DVR. According to forum search on internet, the HD DVR will accept external HHD connected via ESATA cable, and only works with ESATA cable. I bought the two said items both from Amazon (Amazon, LLC). Amazon advertised this as ESATA cable.

In reality, when the item arrived, both the flex-film package as well as the markings on the cable says SATA; nothing on the package/product was labelled ESATA. Sure enough, when connected, the DVR did not recognize the external HDD. I then bought a ESATA cable from local BestBuy just to prove/dis-prove this -- and sure enough, with the ESATA calbe from local store, the DVR recognizes the external HDD.

Bottomline: This item is advertised by Amazon as ESATA, but it is not ESATA. I'm gonna try and return this item. If Amazon reimburse in full, including shipping, I'll change my rating to neutral. But as of now, I feel cheated (and have evidence to prove I got cheated)

Kensington 63100 15.4-inch Contour Terrain Notebook Messenger Bag
I really liked the photo of this bag - but when it was delivered in a great big box I knew I was in for a surprise. First let me start with the pros :
1. Great perfect fit for 15.4" laptops. No slipping and sliding.
2. Nice vertical storage layout. Can easily fit a laptop and a couple magazines or a book.
3. Lots of great pockets (it even has two side pockets that work exactly like pants pockets so you don't have to open the bag to pull out your ipod, cell phone, keys etc...)
4.Great zippered pockets within, which are not in contact with the laptop - so no scratches. Big enough to hold power hub/usb chords - wireless mouse ...

So why just three stars :

Cons : The bag should firstly be comfortable. You cannot sling the strap around your opposite shoulder comfortably - the bag is too deep. The strap is not placed well so it digs into your shoulder and tends to bounce at your side while walking. If you commute on the train like I do that's bad. It feels better if you like to hang it off

Sonax 36" wide, glass shelf, black & silver TV stand w/wire management
Was a little concerned to purchase this online without seeing it first. Luckily the product images included a picture with dimensions, so I was pretty sure it would work well - it did.

I wanted something that will fit tight in a corner, and would hold a 42" LCD TV (Philips 42PFL7432D 42" 1080p LCD HDTV with Ambilight). This does the job well. See User Photo in photo section.

Assembly was easy. The stand is well designed and sturdy. I like the cutout on the bottom as it tends to make the shelf look smaller than it is, letting it disappear from view.

Only reason not to give 5 stars is the price is a little high, even with the good Amazon discount.

STUDIOTECH SP-36 36" Steel Pillar Speaker Stands (Pair)
I filled the stands with sand and secured my monitors with bluetack. They are very sturdy and solid. I'm very happy with these stands and would recommend them to anyone.

STUDIOTECH SP-36 36" Steel Pillar Speaker Stands (Pair)
I am using these stands to hold a pair of Ascend, base reflex, bookshelf speakers. The fit and finish is very good. The weight of the stands, though, is insufficient to prevent these 36-inch stands from easily rocking on carpet, even with the fine quality brass carpet spikes provided with the speakers.

Therefore, at StudioTech's suggestion to put ballast into the hollow tubes, I ordered two 25 pound bags of #7 lead shot (from Midway USA Shooting Supplies) and filled each of the hollow tubes through the provided filler holes in order to weigh down the stands to increase their stability. With 25 pounds of extra weight at the bottom, the stability was increased tremendously. It now takes much more effort to rock the stands on the carpet.

Also, I squeezed four, round dollops of silicone cement of each top plate, near the four edges, before placing the speakers down. I felt that the four rubber pads in the corners were insufficient to prevent a bump aginst a speaker itself from sending

Digital Lighthouse Shooting Tent - Large 24 x 24 x 36"
I just got this, as my first ever light tent. And so far I absolutely love it. I was more impressed with it when it arrived that I thought I would be... I was expecting a more cloth like material, and I got a much more robust feeling tent... The material is more of a vinyl type material. The description is wrong, the tent comes with both a white and black vinyl sweep, as well as plastic pieces to use the tent both horizontally and vertically on a light table. The only thing I don't like so far, is that the camera opening for using it in the tall configuration is opposite the side that opens fully, so you have to remove the upper part of the sweep, open the back, and position your item. In practice this really isn't a problem, and is actually probably more convienient as it means you don't have to move the camera to move items around inside. The smaller opening for shooting from length wise (as shown above) opens both as shown, and with a zipper opening... but the long side they are on

Remote Release for Canon EOS 5D, 10D, 30D, 40D Digital Cameras
EMailed Dot Line Corp Saturday afternoon with questions.Recieved a reply Saturday night. Great service consideringthey're a wholesale outlet.Though the release looks and feels cheap. It works well attemps well below freezing. It activates auto focus bypressing half way down on the button and can be locked touse the Bulb setting effectively. From Steven at Dot Line Corp-------Here is a little info on your inquiry. When you mentionsimple you are absolutely right. There is no battery in theremote at all. Simply a circuit board that uses the cameraspower to fire. As for the PC connection it is really notmuch of a feature. Originally it was designed to allowphotographers to plug in an auxiliary cable and firemultiple cameras simultaneously. Hope this answers yourquestions.

Kensington 63100 15.4-inch Contour Terrain Notebook Messenger Bag
I love the casual looks of this unique bag and appreciate its features like the elastic sides that expand to carry large loads of books and papers. The upright design works well when loading and carrying items and it's well padded and handles a 15.4 inch laptop nicely.
