This is my first HDTV (I am an electronics engineer so, it took very long for me to buy one that i like). But this tv blows me off. Great natural colors, no bright and deep colors as in other samsung and toshiba Tvs.
The Menu is simple but even then it gives wide range of adjustments. Don't be attracted by the video reviews of the other TVs given all over the internet about the different options you can change on your TV because you know what, not many people use all those menu items. This has got bunch of inputs to it and it also have a headphone jack. I added my Bose system to this TV and it really gives a great Movie Experience.
The edges can be a little too glossy, but if you are a person who likes to keep the things neat, you will love the gloss.
Very useful menu item as skipping the Inputs makes this more versatile.
16 ( 4 x 4 ) Customizable favourite channels make life a little more easy. I bought this TV for the olympics and the NBC gives a HighDefinition Feed using the regular

I read many reviews some positive and some negative, I went with the positive ones and my own experiences with other Sharp products. I have had a Sharp Aquos LD37D44U 37-Inch LCD HDTV for about a month and must say that I am very pleased with it so far.
The picture quality is very good and it has every connection that you may want on the back. I am using the HDMI connection from a HDTV Verizon FIOS Box.
I have no problems with any lines or dead pixels as some have written about. If you are looking to buy a solid TV and not over pay for a name, then consider buying one of the Sharp Aquos LCD TVs.

Sylvania LC320SS9 32-Inch LCD HDTV
My home office TV went on the fritz and I needed a video fix but quick. (I live in my mancave!) that said, I'm still cheap enough to do a litttle research before hitting the store or clicking on "BUY PRODUCT".
I should state up front that I am not an audio/videophile, but I am a musician who knows a bit about electronics and a designer so I know "what looks good", (in general). I hit the Sears store and walked up and down looking at the sony and other name brands I'd seen with good ratings on line. then I see this Sylvania, that cost a couple hundred less than these name brands with a picture that matches or surpasses them. I DO suggest you go to the store because the pictures really were of different quality on different sets.
anyway, after checking to make sure this set had all the hook-ups I'd need, (it has more; HD, VGA, gaming ports, etc.)I took a chance and bought it. I only had so much room, and despite wondering if a 32 inch would have

I was looking for a new bedroom TV and decided on a 32" LCD. As I already own a 42" Toshiba Regza for the Living Room, I wasn't all that worried about having 1080p for the bedroom model.
I shopped around for this one a lot and could not decide between Sony, Samsung or Panasonic. After 2 trips to Best Buy, I decided the Samsung probably had a bit more vivid color and a swivel base. I ended up purchasing the Panasonic, however because the Samsung seemed to be less "solid" in construction and the Sony was about $100 more with what appeared to be a worse picture quality.
I've had the TV for a little over a month and it has been flawless. I actually think it has a better picture than my 42" Toshiba. It was very easy to setup, pulled it out of the box, plugged it in and went through a very user friendly setup. I like how the speaker is hidden, and is of surprisingly good sound for an LCD.
My only potential complaint is if I ever decided to mount it on the wall, the base is pretty weird

I searched a around and found only this TV with reasonable price range and positive reviews to maximize my 38 in cabinet. After 2 weeks of receiving the new unit from Amazon.com white glove delivery, the TV is awesome, performed as promised and my brother-in-law wants to get one too for his bedroom(he just got a new Samsung 46in). Oh and I just found out Amazon.com dropped another $100!

I bought a Panasonic model 32LX70 from Amazon about a year ago and was so happy with it that my siblings and I bought this model for our father as a birthday present. He watches a lot of sports and likes it so much he told his sister-in-law and she also bought one from Amazon.
Greeat product, easy setup, outstanding quality for the money.

I did a lot of research on LCD tv's especially 32 inch, do to limited space, and was deciding on either the Sony XBR4 or the sammy!. I have to say that I am very pleased with the sammy. The picture is awesome in HD mode, little to no jugger. Even though it dosn't have 120 HZ, only the Panny has that in the 32 inch. But with the 1080p who could tell the difference. Sound is good with plenty of options, and the Touch of color is very nice, I think it's the best looking 32inch LCD out there. I will will probably buy the 46 or 52 inch sammy when I get enough money or my wife lets me, you know how that goes! anyway the only negitive if you want to call it that, and one that I read was it's a dusk magnet, but with the cloth pad cleaner they give you, it's really not a problem. Sorry Amazon, but 6ave has it for $948.00 and with a 10% off coupon I got it for $900.68 free shipping and delivered to the door. Very happy so far.
5-stars in my book.

For the price, you really can't go wrong. It was cheaper than all the 32" LCD tv's i've looked at.
I really wanted a plasma, but i didn't want the price tag that went with them, so i figured i've give this one a try.
I'm not very tv savy, but i know that i can't really hook up more than one thing at a time. I have my satellite box hooked up, but i can't hook up the dvd player or the playstation at the same time. My exHusband said i need some converter or extra outlet. Sorry, i said i wasn't very "up" on these things.
So i do have to get one of those things (i'll make him get it since he knows what i need), but other than that, i'm happy.
My ex is into all that stuff, and he was even impressed with the price and how beautiful it is, for how much i paid for it.

I've had this TV for about 4 months and the audio keeps failing (typically at the most inconvenient time). A quick search on the web reveals that this is a problem several others are currently having. The best solution is to switch off the set for about 2 minutes and then restart! Not a joke! I've now done that a couple of times in the middle of some of my favorite shows and it's just ridiculous!
Save yourself the trouble and get a Panasonic or Sharp or anything else instead!

I am very pleased with my decision to purchase the Sharp Aquos LC32D44U 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV. The picture clarity is excellent and the screen size adequate for movies and gaming. For the price, I haven't seen a better 32" 720p...

Comparing this side-by-side in the store to the 32" Sammy A550, I didn't see any major differences, certainly none worth paying a couple hundred dollars more to get a 1080p set. If you aren't connecting to a 1080p source anyway (game console, BD player), then the 720p vs. 1080p. argument is moot in this size class (though the 550 offers higher contrast ratio). I also compared this to Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, and Sony 32" sets, and the Sammy was better hands down.
I've calibrated this set using settings I found on AVS forum for the 550 and the picture quality (PQ) is excellent in Movie Mode giving bright, natural, and saturated colors. I'm using this TV in my bedroom with a Samsung upconverting DVD player and cable TV (line direct from wall, no box), watching local HD channels via the clear QAM tuner. I actually found the PQ to be better with the QAM than the off air tuner. The remote also controls the Sammy DVD player which is handy. Standard def cable is poor in comparison, but not unwatchable.

I own a 40" 1080p SONY Bravia TV and bought the 32" 720 HDMI for the master bedroom together with the Peerless Universal Tilt Wall Mount for 13 - 37". The 720p resolution is very good for this TV size but I do not recomend it as a PC monitor unless it is used for games or movies.
This model has a a little better contrast than the L series and PIP capability, when PC is used as main source; also the Piano finish worths the money for some dollars more in Amazon. The Tv does not come with SVGA cable as the 40" did.

Sharps AQUOS LC32GP3U exceeded all my expectations. After an intense education process about HD TV's. I knew I wanted a good picture (even with an antenna only) along with enough hookups and choice in hookups for my VHS, DVD, Games, etc.. Sharp really accommodated my main concerns without buying added equipment or cables for what I already had. This LCD really accommodates every hook up possible except DVI, the newer upgrade to HDMIx3 was not needed for my use because I'm not using this as a computer monitor. The ability to hook this up to a computer and use it for on-line use was also an appealing option. The swiveling base as also a nice feature as well as the slim design and extra side hookups for easy access for games camcorders etc. From the moment I pulled this out of the box to full set up it took less than twenty minutes. Very easy to work and I didn't need to rely on the manual or a professional to install my TV, as a single female I didn't need a strong man to pick it up for me

When it finally got here the TV was fine. The white glove shipping turned out a mess when the white glove supplier gave the TV to a trucking company by mistake. After six long phone calls to Amazon, the white glove supplier, and the trucking company, I finally told Amazon to either fix the problem or take the TV back.
The TV was delivered and "white gloved" on a Sunday by a driver in his SUV. He left the box because "I might need it if there was something wrong with the TV". Since he was headed to play golf I suspect the box was in his way.
All is well that ends well.We are enjoying the TV it works very well

This DTV was purchased for my mother who had been wanting a more modern replacement to her dying 15-year-old set. Although many products are available to choose from, we chose this model because of the Sharp name and our previous good experience with Sharp Electronics and the quality behind the name as well as for its price. Since money was tight, we needed the most bang for the buck and this was our choice. The television arrived very quickly after shipping, was packed well and setup was so easy that we had it in place in just a couple of minutes. Ease of operation couldn't be any simpler. My mother, being elderly, needs simplicity when it comes to technology and this can't be beat. The quality is certainly there and we're all very pleased with the purchase.

I love the sharp HD picture and the sound and the on-screen interface of the set. The picture is so clear I noticed the newscaster on my local news needs to cut down on the pancake makeup. It looked like he applied it with a trowel. My only complaint -- and it's minor -- would probably be that the 32 inch screen seems a tad too small when you're viewing a non-HD broadcast reduced to the square picture format. (We got the 32 inch model because we needed it to fit into an existing entertainment cabinet.) Someone else complained online that the set smelled like hot plastic when they first used it. Mine didn't and I'm someone who notices things like that. As for the picture quality, the pre-set picture options are well-calibrated and personal adjustments are easy to fine tune. The remote is a bit large but not a big deal. The colors are true and vibrant. The blacks are pitch black, including the "pillars" that come up on the left and right side of the picture when you are watching a

The only drawback is high price, but SHARP LC-32GP3U has the best picture and sound quality of any 32" LCD TV currently on the market. 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution works great as PC monitor using DVI-to-HDMI cable. Very slick design. No regrets.

I'm giving the one star review specifically because Amazon uses the worst delivery service I've ever seen. When I purchased the TV I read about their "white glove delivery" service on all HDTVs 27" and larger. I got nothing but runaround and took the box off the truck myself and well as all the setup, as the driver from Eagle Logistics was too busy telling me why he showed up at 7:30pm instead of the 1pm he told me or even the 5pm the company told me. The box smelled like body odor so bad I had to put it on the porch overnight and you could still smell where it had been on the carpet in our living room. I emailed Amazon customer service alerting them to all this and I've heard nothing back. Next time I buy at the store if I'm gonna wind up dealing with this garbage.

I'm not going to write a big long review for this HDTV because its all been done. I do think that reading the CNET review can help answer a lot of questions you may not find answers to on this set. Don't just watch the video ! I'm very happy with this set and the channels that I get in HD look great. Although since most stations still don't broadcast in HD you will catch yourself watching a lot of sd programs in 4:3 which also looks great, but shrinks the overall picture size to around 27" on this set.I would take this into consideration when buying this set. I currently have my Wii, Insight 3.2 HD,& a older Panasonic DVD mini system connected to this set, besides the insight DVR the max I'm getting is 480p in 16:9, which truthfully looks pretty good through this set. I do plan on getting a upconverting dvd player and will update my review once that happens.
