Very user friendly remote, easy to program and set up. Great picture quality. Excellant sound quality. Great value for the amount of money spent. Would definately reccommend to anyone as a primary or secondary television. I have yet to find anything negative to say about this product. We are very happy with it.

After 1.5 years, it will not turn on. I was told that some Sony's are having problems like this. I called Sony and since it is out of the 1 yr. warranty, they can't do anything. It can be expensive to replace these major componets.
I expected more from Sony and am very disapointed with the poor quality of this Bravia. I don't believe they are built to last.

I saved my money over the summer to buy a tv for under $450. I looked at many best buy tvs and this one looked good and din't coast much. i bought when home and hooked it up in like 6 min. Every thing works fine. The only thing i dont like is the input on the side because you can see the cords, but not a big deal. The Graphics for all my xbox games (cod) are amassing. Movies are very clear 2. Overal great tv!

I just purchased and set up the Sony 32" HDTV yesterday. It was very easy to get to all of the necessary connections to hook them up to my cable system. The picture quality is what I expected in the SONY product line. The one thing that was puzzling was what settings I needed to adjust in order to sharpen the picture and get the color balance. I had to go through the picture selection phase to achieve the proper adjustments. You may want to do some advanced research reading in order to get the picture the way you want it in order to get a precise overall quality picture. It is not difficult, but may require a few adjustments in each area to get it to your personal liking. I did get the look I needed after a few tries. The price was great for the quality and I am pleased with this choice. I do plan to get another set in the future. The 1080p was a steal at this price. You will not go wrong by purchasing this model "SONY Bravia KDL-32S5100".

the sony hd tv is amazing! the picture quality is one of the best in the feild. exspecally with a sony bul ray player or ps3 connected with a hdmi cable its the best gaming/movie watching exsperience you will get. the only bad thing about it is that there is only two hdmi hook ups so if you have cox cable that has hd and game systems like the 360 and ps3 you only can plug up one sytem and the cable cord at the same time. this is a big pain in the butt and gets you all dusty( reaching back behind the tv) its just frustrating.

It's features are easy to understand and picture is clear. Price is cheaper than local store. One of the things I considered buying this because of my past experience as far as the quality is concerned. I owned a big screen (63') since 1994 and never gave me a problem, but I'm going to get rid of it soon for flat screen.

Sony does not stand behind their products. I purchased two high end Sony TVs only to have both die with on month of each other with a power supply failure....Cost over $400 to fix both... so if you want quality and reliability look to Samsung or Panasonic or ANYONE but Sony. And call their customer service and spend an hour on hold waiting for them to return stating they cannot help you....beautiful customer service.

I had this Toshiba for a week but had to return it. It was a good tv. The sound was very good when attached with an HDMI cable. Picture was good and what you'd expect for a 720p unit. Personally I like Toshiba tvs. However, mine had a high pitch (feedback-like) sound coming from the unit. After a week I couldn't take it anymore. I purchased mine at Be$tbuy locally and they were out. Still looking for another tv. If you get one for a good price, (and it works) I'd say it is as good as other brands.

I had read many reviews where the sound quality was questioned. I had narrowed my search down to the Samsung and Sony, however since almost everything I own is a Sony (I'm a true Sony baby) I knew ultimately I would more than likely go with the Sony...but I did want to keep my options open. So I went down to Best Buy and did a side by side comparison of both. I was very unhappy with the sound quality of the Samsung. It sounded like the speakers were coming from the back. The picture quality was great the sound quality was horrible! I then looked at the Sony. Picture quality was fantastic the sound, though not stellar, was pretty good. Since this particular TV was not going to have stereo system hooked to it, I wanted to make sure I could live with the sound, and it's not as bad as some of the reviews! It's pretty decent.
I've had the TV now for a week, and am very happy I made the choice that I did. I know I will enjoy this TV for a long time to come.

Wonderful TV set for any room. I have it in my office, but I wish I had it in every room. The color depth is great, you can see the pores on faces it is so clear. I would definitely purchase this TV again!!

I love this TV. I'm sure I would feel differently had I not updated the firmware before I even tried to use it, but since I did -- I LOVE THIS TV! I am going to try to put the link for the update at the bottom of this review, but Amazon may have a policy to delete links in reviews. If this happens, then go to [...] and follow the links for this model. You'll eventually find the update. Download it to a jump drive and plug it into the service port (the only one that'll take USB) with the TV off, then turn the TV on and things will take care of themselves. [...] UPDATE Okay, so Amazon did delete everything. That's okay -- you know Sony has a website.

So I finally got this TV for a multi reason based using. I just replaced my G5 with a Mac Pro and got a PS3 slim for the bed room as well while the older PS3 is hooked up to our 60" Sony SXRD. I needed a larger monitor for my Mac Pro, but also wanted a TV for the room and we were originally going to go with the 24" Cinema display from Apple. Amazing unit but is only for the computer and that is it. With that said, I turned to Sony. The XBR9 does a great job with blacks and colors so when my Mac is running and im in Final Cut or iPhoto, the picture quality is great (I went DVI to HDMI) and when I switch the input over to the PS3 (HDMI), everything continues to look fantastic. So Games/Blu-ray and TV are great. Again, I have to stress though like other reviewers, the XBR9 does not look as good as the XBR8 because its lower in the series! I mean look at the price difference for the love of god. So please, dont think that somehow Sony has gone back in their mindset. Just 2 different se

This is a nice tv but is over priced for a 60 hz tv. I did the firmware download from the sony site and installed it sucessfully but it did not help with the audio issue. The audio at low volume has static. Also it really does not have great colors compared to other models. I own a Samsung, two toshibas, and an LG lcd television and was very dissappointed with my first sony. At this price you can get pretty much any 32 inch television with better picture and sound.

For your $1000.00 you get a decent image and sound with HD TV cable box. However, as yet unadressed but well known issue exists -most notably with SONY Bravia HDTV's that when used with a Motorola made cable box provided by Comcast Cable the picture and /or sound will ad-lib be lost both when swtiching channels and when watching that reuires wither the TV or cable box to be turned off and back on (with resultant delay). Sony blames Motorola and Motorola/Comcast blame Sony so there is no fix. This problem is as obnoxious as it is unacceptable for such an expensive TV. I note that my Sony XBR-9 32" displays on on screen message saying no signal -even when the cable box is already on...so the TV does not detect the signal.

Got this tv for the low price. Have only had it a week, the picture is good and it was easy to set up. The only problem so far is the sound, it is very low. There is also some background static. I would recommend a sound bar to purchase with this product.

I have had this set for several months now. Long time fan of Sony. Have a 47" KDL something upstairs and it's very nice. Had multiple 27" Trinitrons over the years, and 24" WEGA--Loyal Sony user. I bought this from Amazon even though the price was not quite as good as others. Got terrific shipment and delivery. Very satisfied with Amazon. But, this set is surprisingly poor. Sound is tinny and the darn speakers sometimes vibrate. User interface (menus) are clumsy. The Sony Internet Connection thing, Bravia Link or whatever they call it, is -not- available on this set. Why not? For close to [...] bucks you'd think they would put everything on it. Picture is no better (and with the well known contrast problem, not as good as) sets at half the price. I find it to be pixelated and not as sharp as I would expect. I bought a 32" Phillips set for my Mom at Sam's for half this price: Better picture, better sound, easier interface... Better set for half the dough. Two of the HDMI

I like the TV, but I wish I would have saved for a bigger one. Also, sometimes when I am watching television, the sound just goes out on me and it's not muted. I hope the speakers are not going bad! It is supposed to be brand new. I've considering sending it back for a refund.
