This is the best deal ever. I bought it, it was almost like new, and it got in here in two days. It was easy to install and put music on. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anybody!!!

This is a low quality device, not much of a bargain. What really disappointed me was the software and instruction manual. The instruction booklet was an obvious translation from Chinese, I assume, into broken English. It took a phone call to a VERY HELPFUL OVERSTOCK.COM SUPPORT DEPT to figure out how this thing was supposed to work.

Coming out of the box, Creative Zen 16GB MP3 Player puts on quite an impressive show. This model is complimented with a brilliant color screen, crystal clear sound, SD card slot, FM radio, voice recorder and user friendly EQ. Like most models in this line, it only comes in black.
This unit supports a vast array of WMA, WAV, ADPCM, Audible, MP3, AAC. In video mode battery life clocked in at about 5 hours. Audio lasted for about 20 hours. PIM function will allow for the syncing of calendar, appointments, etc; via Outlook. FM radio offers auto scan with 32 preset slots.
All in all this WAS the perfect and probably the most complete player on the market. If it had not been for other problems raising their ugly head I could have easily overlooked the sticky and very cheap control pad. In short, after a few months of perfect sound and video the system simply locked up. No video, no music, no nada.
Phone tech support with Creative Labs is not what it is cracked up to be. Sending in the unit

while I was able to run this product once. it was made so cheeply that the start button broke after just a few minutes.This is no major brand product, its an inexpensive, cheaply made mp3 player which could''t hold up to one drop off chair onto carpet.Just my opinion, stay away, get a name brand, like sonyI learned my lesson.

Well, I received my 4gb pink Mozaic today, and I'm very happy with it :]
I once owned a Creative Zen Vision:M, 30gb, until I lost it in the gym... It was an excellent player with a few quirks (it was somewhat laggy) but quite a brick - I dropped it about 4-5x and yet it still survived.
Well, back to the Mozaic, to break it down,
Pros:
+ The player is small and unobtrusive if you want to put it in your pocket
+ The pink is a nice shade
+ Easy to navigate through the menus
+ I was able to drag and drop music directly into the player's "Music" folder on my computer and play it immediately
+ Although the shell is made of plastic, it is very, very sturdy. I feel that I could drop it several times with minimal damage (not that I'm going to test this out!)
+ The screen is bright and vivid
+ You can save up to 32 radio stations
+ Radio signal itself is alright; just make sure you have your headphones plugged in, as they act as the antenna.
+ The speaker is decent, but not up to audiophile standards

I went through 3. Yep, and all three went on to have the "ticking/skipping" sound when I turned up the volume. It wasn't the earphones. It wasn't the format of the songs: it comes with sample songs on which I tested the volume. Then I look this little flaw up in google and one forum says that Sandisk is "working on it." Nice, well while they work on it this player is heading back to the store. Buy this with a warranty, just in case.

The Fuze has more features than I want, but it is very easy to use and it is very easy to ignore the useless features.
When you get the unit, plug it in to the USB cable to charge it. Once it is charged, go into the settings menu and change the mode to MSC. This makes the Fuze act like a regular flash drive, so it will work with any operating system that supports USB. Next, format the unit. Sandisk includes some sample music that was installed in MTP mode. The two modes are not compatible, so your player will have wasted space if you keep the sample music.
Next, go to Sandisk's website. They will have a *.bin file available so you can flash the Fuze's firmware to the latest version. Just copy the file over with any file manager. They do have an updater program, but that doesn't work on my OS.
You now have a player that can handle FLAC and OGG format audio, as well as all the usual ones. That means Librivox and Project Gutenberg audiobooks work, so hard to find classics are easy to get.

This is an awesome little gadget which does what it says it does without the fancy extras, but with a nice sharp display screen and good audio, enclosed in sturdy metal casing rather than the cheap plasticy stuff. Very simple to use, only draw back is that you have to use the included software to compress videos as it does not recognize vids created in other software. uploading files is a breeze; no complicated interface like some vid players. When you plug it into the USB on your computer, your computer sees it as a simple USB flash drive, you just drag the files you like into it and you are done! The player automatically distinguishes between vids, music, and other files which also a great plus. And the price is great as well.

Overall I love this IPod and the price was great but the battery only stays charged for about 90mins then it runs down. I guess maybe that is why it was refurbished. Refurbished can be good, just be carefully.

A great product at a great price. My daughter was saving for this type of I-Pod and found it at Overstock for a great price. I was skeptical because it was a refurbished product but my daughter still wanted to try it. She is delighted with it. It still had the plastic coverings on it and appeared brand new. She loves it and I would recommend it to everyone. I am thoroughly pleased and so is she. Thanks again for a great product, Overstock.

I have had absolutely no problems with this ipod.
It functions just like a new ipod bought at the store.

The items is not very user friendly and it was shipped to me without an instruction booklet. I have had it for over a week now and have been unable to use it. I imagine it is a good product. However, Overstock.Com should have sent me an instruction booklet. It is for that reason that I am unhappy with tis purchase.

I wanted something small to use at the gym and this player has exceeded my expectations. It has simple, easy to use functions at a very reasonable price. The clip is handy and convenient too. Loading music is simple and does not require any complicated programs since you can use the sync function in Windows Media Player or just drag and drop music via Explorer.

This is my first MP3 player and I wasn't expecting it to be that great, since everyone seems to be in love with the Apple ipod mated with itunes software. Boy was I in for a surprise. Not only did this player fulfill my expectations, it made me a believer in SanDisk products.
Since I listen to the radio a lot, I really appreciate the built in radio; which by the way, works great. The only time you'll have a reduction in sound quality is when you are in an elevator, or in an underground parking lot. Otherwise, the sound is as good as a car radio when you are out in the open.
You won't be able to use itunes with this unit. You have to use Windows Media Player. WMP may seem a little confusing at first, so just make sure you have the latest version of the player, and you should be OK.
One reviewer complained about not being able to charge the player through his PC. SanDisk mentions that not all PC's will be able to charge the player when the computer is OFF; but it will always change with

The mp3 seems to be thinner in the description picture than it really is. Otherwise it's a great product, with FM radio, voice recorder (97 K Bits), stopwatch, you can use it as a flash drive, Mp3 player with artist, song and album description. It's a nice product and doesn't cost a lot either.

I have had this mp3 player for 3 years and I really like it. It was inexpensive and even though the "manual" and disc for instructions are almost worthless, its easy to figure out. I leave the battery out of it when not using it, cause it will eat batteries like crazy...

I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the Creative Zen Mozaic 2GB Flash Portable Media Player. It's very easy to operate, the sound quality is excellent. It's compact and perfect to take to the gym, to the park, or even around the house.

Let's see. What's right with this?
* No need for special software - can drag and drop files from explorer OR windows media player.
* Great sound quality
* Tiny fit-in-shirt-pocket size
* Great screen
* Simple user interface
* Expansion slot so I can have books on one sd card and music on another
What would make it MORE perfect?
* If the spinning of the thumb wheel was virtual instead of mechanical, I worry about it breaking
* If it allowed me to do Fast Forward and Reverse in audio books rather than just starting over at the track beginning. :-(
* If I could bookmark INSIDE a track so that I could come back to an audio book at the point I left off.
But for what this costs, I can't complain - 5 stars

Priced right. I guess I got what I paid for. Doesn't hold charge longer than maybe a day. I needed it for vehicle usage, but if I want to use it with headset, I will be charging it more often than using it.

I got 2 of these for my sons. Sadly, my boys (being 7 and 9) are not yet rocket scientists, and therefore had some difficulty with the controls. It even took me a while to figure out how to do something as simple as play the music. Mind-numbingly complicated controls aside, the player does play back music just fine, and it's easy to move files to and from the ample memory. The cheap feeling construction makes me wonder how long they'll stand up to actual use. When they do break down I think I'll probably go with a Sansa player. The're more expensive, but MUCH easier to use and durable.
