We owned a cyber shot that after a few years and many drops broke. We love this camera, the picture quality is the best! It is very easy to use as well. When we bought our new cybershot we were dissapointed in the zoom capibility. We ordered our new cyber shot camera on line and didn't get to play with it before our purchase. I would highly recommend going into the store to view the camera because when we went to return it, we had to pay an expensive restocking fee even though the box and contents were in new condition. If a zoom isn't that important, I would highly recommend this camera, we loved it, untill we wanted to photograph sports at a distance.

It's almost like the previous Sony camera I had, so it's easy to use, pics come out very clear...Have not used enough times quite yet so not much else I can say.

My wife and I were looking for a basic camcorder that had some good features, and didn't cost too much. This camera has given us a lot more than we paid for. We like how small it is and how easy it is to use. It has a very good zoom, and the picture quality is pretty good. We wish the battery life was a little better, but if it's fully charged before we go out, we're usually ok. This is an excellent product for those of you that are on a tight budget and yet still wanna get a cool camera.

The picture quality is terrible, I could not even believe how bad it was when I first tried it. When we buy a sony product we expect for quality. This is not the case. The picture quality of the movies i make in my digital camera T100 is even better than with this camcorder SR 67.
If I wouldn't have came back to Brazil, I would certainly have returned it.
Think twice before start thinking about buying it.

I gave my neice an SD1100 last year and she is still raving about it. I decided to buy one for myself and, of course, they were discontinued. The SD1200 turned out to be a fantastic little camera. It takes great pictures and yet it fits easily into a pocket. It's the perfect camera for travel. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I've used this camera much less than the SD1000 I lost.
The picture speed is very slow and as little as I've used it, I've already changed the AA batteries twice!
It doesn't hold a candle to the one I replaced it with and now the camera I loved is priced well over 100 more to buy it again new.
Canon, I thought only made great cameras, I'm actually considering going to a Sony.

This camera is really good.
Picture and video quality are really nice for basic non professional use. there are enough features for the basic user but what i really like is that you can zoom during the video and you can set the video on the macro mode so that, you can take close up videos.
It is very simple. you can use it just out of the box.
I guess it is the best canon in the A series, so if you want more developed canon go for the sd1200 but if you want to save the 70$ get this one.

This camera was really easy to use, I was really excited about it until my bubble got burst! I watched it on our TV and the picture quality is very poor. Everything looked so blurry and the color was even off. My daughter had on a bright pink shirt w/ matching bow...both looked red! The nice green lawn that was in some of the video had a yellow tent to it! Geerrrr! I really wanted this to work! Looks like I’m off to buy the JVC! Hopefully I'll have more luck w/ that!

I first read the neviews on this camera but then still decided to get it. I have found nothing wrong with this camera. Pictures look really good. Nothing grainy found. I did have a Casio Exilium. I didnt like it cause not enough zoom but this one goes beyond what I wanted. I love it.

I was so excited to get this camera and very dissapointed in it's performance. I think for the amount of money it is not worth all the struggle with it. It freezes regularly and the battery life is very short, needs to be recharged after one day of use.

This is a terrible product. The joystick is difficult to use. The picture quality is dreadful. The software that came with it is a real pain!
I would not recommend this camera to anyone.

I am extremely disappointed in this camera - I picked it up on a QVC show (and would return it had I not misplaced the packing slip info and receipt). The photos whether the subject is still or moving, no matter what the setting (and the smart capture is a joke) come out blurry and grainy - and when other people have tried it thinking it was a "user" problem, they were quick to remark that it takes awful pictures. My last Kodak an Easy Share DX4330 was an absolute joy to use which is why I bought this one (the C190). I no longer will purchase Kodak based on name brand trust.

This camera is a joy to use. Quickly comes on and allows you to start taking pictures almost instantly, so you never have to worry about missing that "special moment". The camera is real easy to use and once you figure out the menus (only takes a few minutes), each time you go back to the camera it feels comfortable and almost intuitive.
I have owned many ELPH camera's and each one seems to just slightly refine the last generation. This one is light weight, outstanding resolution and quick to operate. I couldn't ask for more in a point and shoot!

I read the other reveiws and could agree with a couuple of points. The unit is a little difficult to open up, you do have to use two hands...also, my husband likes to sit it on his chest and watch movies when we camp...the little soft touch buttons almost sense the heat of his fingers when he adjusts it and changes settings sometimes...other than that its great! I think you can get used to the cons because the pros outweight them! I also found ours "open box" at Best Buy and got it for $99.99...plus $10 for 2-year replacement puts the value for us over the top! Another great Sony product!

This is a great camera! I bought it prior to a trip to Missouri and I absolutely adore this thing. With this camera, you can slide it open, and point and shoot. It's that easy. For someone like me, I'm happy that I can tweak individual settings so that I can get my pictures just right. The Smile Detection works really well, and it captures pictures quickly! Just the thing to catch my nephew when we actually does smile! There are a few bad things about this camera: (1) whenever you slide the camera open, whether you were reviewing pictures, etc...the camera will automatically enter picture mode; (2) the only way to change settings, or do anything for that matter, is via the touch screen, so if that goes out, you're SOL (3) the screen is a fingerprint magnet! The slightest finger press will leave a print, there is a stylus device, but it seems too small for my clumsy fingers.

This, so far, is one of my favorite cameras. I bought it for vacation and it took great pics both inside and outside, in light and in dark. I love the camera. It's also easy to use and its almost impossible to take a bad picture with it.

Bought camera for trip to Jamaica. OMG what a pleasent surprise. Pictures are crisp, color is vivid, can't say enough good things. It's great to just rinse off the sand or salt water. Even dropped it once. Underwater pictures are great, would compare my pictures with a high end camera anytime. Video both underwater and topside are super. While on trip people all around were asking what kind of camera I had. I believe there are at least 8-10 new D10 owners now. The camera is simple to operate, even my wife who is a point and shoot type person used it with ease. If you want a camera you can take to the beach, pool or any adverse condition this camera is great. I would recommend buying a 16GB chip which would give about 2hrs+video and more pictures than you can take in a day.

Not that many non-gaming mouse choices at BB. I needed a Win 7-compatible mouse and tried the Microsoft. I hated, hated, hated (did I say hated?) the "smooth scrolling." I have been mousing for more years than I would care to admit, and I am way accustomed to resistance in the scroll wheel. The next logical (no pun intended) step was this Logitech, and I really like it so far (only been using for a few hours). I mouse a whole lot, and I did one of my really tight-editing freelance projects with it today, and it was very easy.
One word of caution: if you have win 7, go to the logitech support site and download the appropriate software first. don't just let the machine install a native driver. At least this worked for me.
In all, a nice look and comfortable feel. Lots of possibilities for settings. And I didn't find it to be too small whatsoever for my average-size hands.

I purchased this and took it back after using for one day. With the lighting in my house at night, took videos I would never want to show anyone. My kids turned out red. I tried every setting there was and nothing came out acceptable. For $200, I might think this could be the camcorder for you IF. You can't afford the next level of pricing and you will not take low level lighting videos. You better have a stable hand too. Once I looked at it through the box, I knew it was junk. It looks like a toy!
I also purchased a VPC-CG10P for $199. Took it back as well. The Built-in digital image stabilization was bad on this camcorder too. But it was a MUCH better camcorder than the DXG. So if you are thinking about a $200 camcorder, I might get the VPC-CG10P ?
Finally I learned my lesson and forked out $500. Got a HDR-CX100. I can tell you it is worth the extra if you can afford it. If you are just going to upload some pics to the net, go with the $200 range. If you want to make

I've had Canon cameras for years so I couldn't wait to try this camera underwater. Living in Costa Rica, I am always doing extreme action sports and thanks to this camera I have been able to capture great pictures. I did a 2 week research on waterproof cameras before purchasing my D10. Overall there are about 14 different styles out there, some are lighter yet you can only go about 4ft. The D10 provides up to 33ft, so you can take it scuba diving, snorkeling or surfing. All digital cameras should be waterproof because you want a camera that you can take anywhere without worrying about spills, dirt, dust, freeze, or even dropping it (shock proof up to 4ft). Is not like you are taking pictures in baby showers and home parties all the time. The 12MP are great, the image quality underwater is beyond comparison. It also has nice features such as auto focus, face detection, and blink detection. Overall, other that its bulky size, I give it a 10+ AJ briacodotcom
