I love this frame, didn't know when I purchased it that it will also play the video portion of my memory card. I give it an A+!. My boys love it they bring their memory cards home from the deer lease and check out the wildlife that comes to the field camera. It is very handy and has a very high quality picture. Once again I am very pleased with my purchase, I think the price was really reasonable also.

Overall this frame gets the job done. A quick pro-con list below:
Pros: good image quality, easy to setup and use, plays videos which is a nice bonus, great remote control storage so you don't lose the remote, DEFINITELY a great price.
Cons: No random option for playback (only plays photos in the order storage on the memory card), SD Memory card slot was hard to get the memory card in.
For the price I am very happy with this frame. But if you want a fancy frame with all the bells and whistles this is not the one for you. This is a basic frame with good picture quality for a reasonable price!

This frame does much more than I expected and it will take me a while to learn how to do it all. I believe the 4 ratings would be 5's if I used all the features. The pictures are clear with horizontal ones filling the frame and verticle with a border. I like being able to control the time for each to be visible.

I have purchased two of these to help family members with failing memories keep the images of family members and events in their minds. I also purchased one for my son, a professional free lance artist, to use as a portfolio for his work. I'm waiting for a fourth frame to be in stock to purchase for my brother with Alzheimer's Disease. All the frames I have purchased are wonderful and working flawlessly. How's that for a recommendation?

HP has finally done a truly excellent job of hardware engineering on their second generation touch-based system. It's stylish and functional and well equipped. And cost is reasonable - especially when you consider how much just a large touch screen would cost all by itself.
An e-SATA connector would have been nice though and the HP touchsmart suite software is typical HP software - fairly mediocre. I disabled it and use the native Windows touch functionality. HP would do themselves and everyone a favor by unleasing their multi-touch API so (other than HP) developers could crank out killer apps for their new box. Probably moot when Windows 7 is released, but in the meantime they'd be boosting their sales by evangelising touch-based software development for their machines.

I have been impressed with the tech specs and reviews on this system, so checked it out at the store (Office Depot). I especially like the standard 4gb RAM configuration, the built-in webcam, and the parking place for the keyboard. I was disappointed, however, in the looks of the system for the following two reasons: (1) the touch screen is very high glare and (2) the enclosure is high gloss black plastic. (Who in global marketing decided that all consumers prefer high gloss black on electronics. Is it just me that doesn't like this? What happened to smudge-free matte black enclosures and anti-glare screens?) I'll wait for the update. Thanks HP!

I found this frame very easy to figure out, at least regarding photos. It has a remote control, which is very interesting and, though I haven't used it for videos yet, is kind of fun for skipping through pictures. You can fit a LOT of pictures on a 4 GB SD card so you can have a really large slideshow going on in the frame. I plugged the frame in, stuck the card in, and it has kept going strong ever since. Just remember to have your photos properly oriented and such before you put them on the card. You can rotate them with frame controls but if you lose power to the frame they all revert to the card version.

I like the fact that the unit uses all of the different memory card or flash port features. It has a good clear picture. It took me a while to learn how to use it so i would say ease of use was not as comfortable as I would have liked. I'm not a very technical person so this could have something to do with my feelings on ease of use. Otherwise I like the unit and would recommend it to someone else.

I am very happy with the HP IQ506 PC. I bought it because it is an All in One and I don't use it as a touch screen. I played with the touch screen and it seems to work fine with the limited software provided.
The screen is bright in all lighting conditions and looks very good.
The built in wireless N works well.
The wireless KeyBoard and mouse have worked without any problems. The KeyBoard is very flat and takes some getting used to if you have been using a more conventional KB.
The built in speakers sound good for being so small, much better than expected.
With the 500 GB 7200 RPM Hard Disk, 22" Screen, 5 USB ports, and 4 GB memory it is a very good value.
The only things I would change are; I would add a CF reader and an option to select XP instead of Vista.

I have had this desktop for a week and am truly satisfied with the experience. It is a good value for money proposition. The touch application from HP works great. True there are a few glitches and pains but then no software is perfect.
The connections were a breeze and I had the desktop up and running 20 mins after opening it. The screen is bright with a good resolution. The best part is that there is no clutter associated with a normal desktop. There is just one wire that goes into the desktop and nothing else.
The software that comes in the package is sufficient to get you started with the daily stuff but I would have been happier with a more long running anti virus subscription (the current one from Norton is limited to 60 days).
One complaint I have is that inspite of good hardware specs the machine appears to be slow at times. This is probably due to Vista but with 4 gigs of memory I expected a better experience.

HP Lite-On Df800 8-Inch High Resolution Digital Picture Frame with RemoteA wonderful product in all aspects, EXCEPT in the slideshow mode it plays the files from the latest to the earliest. Who would want to view wedding photos showing the couple driving off, before they are even married? The only way to change the order is to renumber the files, an awsome job if you have 200+.

If you're looking for a mobile way to browse the internet from a wifi connection then this device is awesome. It has by far the best portable wifi web browsing I've seen.
If you're looking for a fun, small, portable linux platform to play with, this is a great place for that.
If you're looking for a GPS device, do not buy the n810 for this. The GPS is honestly terrible compared to anything I've ever used. Not only does it truly take 5-10 minutes to get a lock as other reviews say, the resulting nav data is lagged and innacurate. I had read that it took a long time to get a lock, which I could deal with, but not driving down the road the nav showing my position where I was a good 20-30 seconds ago, too late to make that turn now... Inacuracy problems were constant too. Driving down the road and watching the device give your location as going through a lake 500 ft to the side is amusing until you realize how much you just spent on a device with useless gps.

This is a great printer, I had it for a year now and just now have to replace the toners which are $45 each or generic ones which are $25 each. The other printers I had were not laser jet and I found myself constantly changing print cartridge for a quality of print that doesn't come close to this printer. The color print is clear and crisp, and multiple pages print quickly, of course it's not as fast as a commercial laser jet printer I have at work, but for home use the print speed is fast enough. It also has a scan option, I think it has a fax option but I have not taken the time to figure out how to use it. The scan option is great, produces nice quality documents that can be saved into various document formats (i.e. jpg, bmp etc..) and directly emailed (this option is available) or saved.

I have been using the iPaq 211 now for a couple of weeks after upgrading from the iPaq 2755 that I purchased when it first hit the American market - 3+ years ago. I haven't had a chance to really test the multimedia capability but am willing to bet the 211 will be better for MP3 and movies. Overall, it is a good devise, but not as much of an improvement over the 2755 as I was hoping for. Below is a comparison between the two devises.
Screen
2755 - Bright and easy to read but type gets more difficult as it gets smaller. Web pages are really difficult to view making Internet Explorer nearly pointless.
211- Even brighter in comparison to the 2755. It also has automatic brightness adjustment that actually works well. But the biggest difference is the VGA resolution on a comparatively BIG screen. Web pages, books and everything is much easier to read on this devise. I have been using my iPaqs for reading books for several years and this devise is really a pleasure for that! The on

The Nokia N810 internet tablet is an excellent tool for email and web-browsing away from one's desk. A little big for a trouser pocket, it will fit comfortably in a jacket pocket. The wi-fi is incredibly sensitive, picking up and working on networks that Dell laptops can't. The sceen is small but very clear. The keyboard has a good feel to it, and the rocker pad to the left of the keyboard is very effective for navigating a page. The software is reasonably quick to load.
The map is excellent, the GPS could be a little more sensitive, but that isn't really this tool's main purpose, so I don't mind. The camera also is 'only OK', but on a par with most cellphone cameras, and more of an add-on than a serious tool. I haven't tried the VOIP telephone, so I won't comment on that.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Nokia N810; it does what I got it for very well.

Power supply is 110V only, so don't go buying this for any friends in Europe or the rest of the world. It is also pretty difficult to find a 12V 2A power supply to replace the one provided.
Other than that it does what it says on the tin.

To say this thing is designed for boaters is as big a joke as a lie!! The included database does not even include the basic outline of local lakes smaller than the Great Lakes. Minnesota - the "land of 10,000 lakes" has been reduced to the land of 2 or 3 lakes. The map that came with it is from 2001. Perhaps the glaciers had not done their work by then. Truthfully, the Garmin 430 that we use for our car has a far, far better database. This unit was designed for one purpose - to make you buy additional databases. The picture on the 76Cx page shows an image of a lake with depths and navigation aids. Nowhere does it say the image requires optional addons to get that kind of detail (or even see the lake) although on the box (once you've shelled out the money and it arrives) you find that in very small print on the back. The only claim that may be realistic is that it is supposed to float and I am sorely tempted to put that to the test. To get maps of two popular lakes in MN, Rainy Lake and

The Nokia N810 is a beautiful, well-conceived device. The problem is it doesn't perform as well as one would expect for a device from Nokia.
Here's why I bought the N810: Internet telephony (Skype), internet browsing, GPS location identification, and as a repository of music and a few videos. Going through the list:
Skype: This is a nice clean application for the N810, with good sound and performance. Unfortunately, it doesn't support video conferencing. This is odd, because it has a (very) rudimentary camera that faces the user, which is obviously there for video conferencing. Also, sometimes Skype is not terribly useful, as the little speakers are not loud enough to make the speech intelligible in a loud environment (e.g., coffee house).
Internet browsing: This does work reasonably well, but the scrolling is a bit jumpy. Trying to get streaming video is a bit sketchy as well: a Real video stream which works well on a PC sometime fails to startup in the native video player. Also, in

I've been researching digital frames and after much confusion I made the choice to buy this one. I'm so pleased that I haven't had any problems, and the picture quality is excellent. After I bought this model I found out that it was rated the highest of models recently evaulated by Consumer Reports. I have thousands of photos on CD's, and the frame is supposed to hold 3,000 pics if you set them to be optimized by the frame software. I currently used the USB from frame to computer, to transfer the pictures from my CD's. As I take new photos I'll transfer them directly from the camera memory card.
The frame is made of wood; a beautiful stained walnut. The matting on the frame is a creme color, although it looks like peach on my monitor. Overall it's a well-made frame.

This card is a great solution for the professional. It is best suited for CAD/CAM, video editing, 2D/3D animation and similar applications. This is not a card designed for gaming. Keeping that in mind, this is a great entry to mid-level card for the professional designer/animator. I have been using the Quadro series of cards for many years now, and so far, this card has been rock solid, with good resolution, speed and quality. Keeping the cost in mind, I can very easily recommend this card for the professional, as it is a good deal for the quality of the card and the power it adds to professional applications. But, once again, if you are looking for a fast card for gaming - you can do much better, much cheaper!
