I ordered a 1 Meg Memory Chip and I am extremely satisfied and thrilled with how fast I received it. My computer is running a lot faster, now.

If you looking for a great card with a small price, this is a fantastic card. It plays games very well and most on high settings (excluding Crysis). It has great 1GB memory and a refresh rate. High resolution settings and an HDMI port makes it great for hooking up to any HDTV. No SLI support mean no dual cards but its fine, it does great on its own. I bought this card when it was still OEM (computer manufacturer only), but there should be no difference. 5 stars for this one.

This card is the best budget/graphics card that can run many games at least 40fps. Easy to install. Improved overall performance. Great cost (again). Simply awesome =D

Wow great cards, bought two of these for eyefinity and crossfire. With the latest catalyst driver it shows that crossfire is enabled in windows 7. Looks like I got them at the right time before the price increase. Run everything at max settings World at war looks great, and they are almost silent. Great cards I would recomend to anyone.

After four years of using the NVIDIA 7300 card that came standard on my Dell XPS 410 with no major issues, decided on getting a replacement for Windows 7. Found this card, the EVGA GeForce 9400GT and for the price, thought on giving it a try. It can be summarized in one word; Performance. Even though I did not noticed any difference on DVD playback, the Windows Experience Index increased from 3.5 to 4.9, mostly because the old card had only 128 MB of memory while this one has 1 GB. Several things worth mentioning, especially for Windows 7 users that are considering this card. First, the GeForce 9400GT is fully compatible with Win-7. But for installation, do not follow the steps on the instruction booklet. The installation disk has drivers for XP and Vista only. Just plug your new card in the PCI-2-E slot (following the precautions for unnecessary static and proper grounding) and fire the computer. The display will be opaque with large icons and when the system asks you to search

My previous Gateway Vista powered laptop suffered a violent death when the phone line was struck by lightning, taking out the phone, modem, and computer. Since it took nearly a week to repair the phone line, I took a couple of days to research what I wanted in a computer. I considered making the switch to Mac, but I'm a text oriented person, so all the fabulous artistic features would be wasted. I briefly considered a desktop, but I like portability. I checked out the laptop features, spoke to a really cute fireman buying this same model, and decided to go for the netbook. For the price of a new full featured laptop, I now have an adorable and easily portable computer running Windows XP service pack 3 (yeah!), an 18" monitor to use the extended desktop feature, a wireless modem which frees me to work anywhere in my home, including my front porch and my husband's man cave, and a multi-port usb device CyberPower High-Speed 7-Port USB Hub to plug in my ergonomic keyboard and other items.

The gig of memory is great. Everything loads faster and plays better than my last card. I have an older 64-bit desktop that only has a 300W power supply, so this card is about the only Nvidia upgrade option for my system. I haven't plugged anything into the HDMI port yet so I can't comment on that. According to SpeedFan it's running about 30 degrees cooler than my last Nvidia card and it's a lot quieter. It works with Windows 7 and the price was cheap so I can't really complain about it.

I inherited an old iBook some months ago and needed to bump up the memory. I went with Crucial because I've used them several times without problem. I've now had this memory installed for a couple of months and have had no problems at all. I'll continue to use Crucial as first choice.

As long as you got the stuff worked out on your end, like if this is compatible with your computer, and how many memory banks your computer has and how much ram it can handle, all ya gotta do generally is put it in
It only really make's your pc generally faster it you don't have enough ram in the first place- at least 3gb in vista is what i recommend

After realizing that I could buy two 25.5 inch ASUS monitors for considerable less than the cost of my original 19 inch monitor, I wanted to get two. I use very large spreadsheet and with that old monitor I could have characters so small, I could hardly read them. Within five minutes of their installation, I realized that I needed a new video card to make good use of those new monitors. My old card had one VGA port and one DVI and that card was nowhere close to producing 1920 x 1200 that those new monitors could handle. I did not know just quite what to get and had to spend time checking out the compatibility of those newer PCI-Express 2.0 graphics cards with my old Dell Dimension 9100 which was said to handle the PCI-Express 1.0 cards and also had a 375 watt power supply. Eventually, I determined the power supply was adequate with some new video cards including the EVGA 01G-P3-N959 since that card needed 350 watts. I also learned that if your PC handles the PCI-Express 1.0 cards,

Purchased this card to replace existing EGVA 8500GT (1GB) on a 4GB E6580 CPU and couldn't be happier. First of all, I ordered the card on a Wednesday and it arrived two days later, using Amazon's free shipping. Amazing! The card is single slot but very large, luckily so is my case, but still had a tight fit attaching the two power cables. Well worth any effort, of course, once I turned on my machine and installed the latest drivers. Coupled with my new 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor, this card is just beautiful. Runs everything I throw at it with blinding speed, graphics options maxed out. Very, very pleased with both Amazon and the quality of the card. Highly recommended.

I bought this computer after having a larger laptop and love the size of this 10.1 inch laptop. It works great and very fast, no problems logging on to the internet. Great little computer.

I had a custom system built for me and this was one of the components. This card is great, video is vivid, no crashing when doing video or graphic intensive programs. When my system was being built the guy doing it had more than a few people show great interest in my system and they were awe struck by the graphics card, this made a great addition to my new computer.

This Video card improves my Vista Home 32-bit score from 4.1 to 5.6, but didn't realized it was Fan Sink, rather than heat sink version at times it bothersome with the noise, even without gaming or extreme programming. I'm not sure if there heat sink available for this NVIDIA 9600 series PCI-e 2.0 with DDR3. Makes vista lags a little bit. Not a gamer, but played some high graphics games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare and it has no problem at all with it. PROS: Good acceralation on TV Live, Standard HD HDMI & DVI ports, CONS: Fan Sink (Noisy), Easily Heated, large-size PCI-e little challenge to install in small cases, lags.

Overall this was a complete waste of money, i got the card and i thought it looked great, price made it seem like a winner... the graphics were not impressive, the fan is LOUD and after 3 months the fan died.. If your a gamer, DO NOT get this card. you can easily buy a better card for the same price.

this item was sold as refurbished. Refurbished is suppose to be restored to the orinigal factory standards. Both of these items where never even checked out as both of them had dust inside the computer box and appears was never opened since it left the original manufacturer. Items like this should be resold.

Put this in son's computer for online gaming and it made a big difference, didn't make it perfect, but enough. We went for the 9500 because it was about as big as I could go without straining the power supply (350W). If you buy EVGA, go to their web site for rebate possibilities. A rebate wasn't shown for this, but there was one on their web site ( and it didnt matter where you purchased it.) Easy to install, too.
