i can't wait to get mine, i bet it is super cool like the people on here who already got said it would be cool and my favorite part about the ipod touch is that you can go on the internet if you are in a room with WI-FI!

Apple continues to build a superior personal music device. IMy first iPod was the 2nd gen nano and this one is, as expected, a great upgrade. I love the features although I cannot see myself using the camera at all. Having a radio is a plus. The only negative thing I would say is that I cannot find a sleeve/coverwith a belt clip like I had for my 2nd gen, it was neoprene and protected the screen and thumb wheel.

No customer support. I could not believe that there are limited instructions and, unlike most companies, there is nothing in the way of customer support.

Over all I am happy with this device. I have an older model, which still works fine, but needed more room for my music. I like the way it sounds, but it is difficult to know when the device is on or off. The touch screen is a little hyper sensitive and creates clumsiness at times. The resolution on the display screen is superb and battery life is satisfactory. I recommend this device to anyone who wants an adequate amount of space for music and pictures.

This is a good mp3 player, but it does not work well for some uses. If you intend to exercise, paricularly to run with it you'll find the click wheel difficult to use. The precision required to navigate the screens works with some difficulty even when stationery. In addition, the itunes software is not intuitive. It does some things well such as downloading/purchasing music but is difficult to use when downloading podcasts. There is one area where an Apple product has a wide advantage over other companies. Although I purchased the ipod from Overstock and it's a previous generation nano and refurbished to boot, I emailed a problem to Appled and was given an option to be called back by an Apple representative and could even schedule the call at my convenience. Miracle of miracles, the call was returned by Apple at the appointed time, the representative was competent and clear and the problem resolved. Paying a higher price for that level of service is fine with me.

The E-series walkman has really good sound quality, long battery life, easy to use UI and classy look all combined. Also, it is a really open system (specially considering it is from Sony): A. simple drag-and-drop is all that is required to transfer music (though you can create a traditional sync partnership with Windows Media Player 11 if you want to) -- not having to deal with a bloatware like iTunes is pure bliss; B. no special port/sync/charging cable -- the player has a mini-USB port, and a (supplied) mini-USB to USB cable does sync and recharging the battery. Only one gripe: there is no way to create on-the-go playlists from the walkman; you must create the playlists beforehand in Windows Media Player and sync. Oh, and the 2" LCD screen is bright and has nice contrast.

I've told so many people about my Ipod Touch I should be getting a commission. I use it for everything. I haven't even begun to tap the abilities of this device. My kids are jealous and my friends amazed. It's infinitely useful, free to use, and fun too! No monthly service fee, unlike a cell phone, and with skype it basically is a phone. I use mine as an alarm clock, a stop watch, a calculator, to pay bills, check account balances, order pizza, check the weather, text my kids, as a calendar, as a shopping list, as a music player, to watch videos and share pictures. I go on facebook, check my e- mail instantly, search google, as a dictionary, there is nothing it won't do! The price was fabulous too! Cheaper than a palm pilot, which I thought I wanted until my kids showed me this. Get one for yourself and one for your kids! Perfect for christmas for the teen who has everything. Get a cover right off and a cleaning cloth. You're gonna love it!

Bought this for my 13 year old son. He LOVES it...especially the part about being able to get on the internet thru our computer's wireless signal. It's the best gift he's gotten since his cell phone (according to him).

I chose this 8gb Coby because I was looking for some way to carry my music around without bowing to King Apple by default. This product seceded in providing me a legitimate alternative to the ominous iPod series, but in giving me something I absolutely loved, it failed. It had a couple big problems and a thousand little things that left me torn on whether it was worth the $100 I spent for it. Pros: It looks cool. Nice big screen. The touch screen is a nifty feature. I like the versatility of the unit. It can carry music, pictures, video, text and it has a radio. It has dedicated volume buttons on the side. With iPods you use the wheal to adjust the volume, but only when the screen is on the song playing. So, if you want to crank it up while you're scrolling through other music, you've got a problem. The drag and drop function makes transferring music a snap, forget the hassle of dealing with iTunes. Cons: BATTERY: The first thing I noticed is the dismal battery life, about

Many useful features. Nice small package. I love the way it works seamlessly with I tunes. ITunes is much easier to use than the Creative software I was using. It took two programs to do all the stuff that ITunes does with the ITouch. Charges quickly enough. It fits into every shirt pocket that I have. It connects to available Wi Fi quickly and without any effort on my part. It sometimes downloads info faster than my PC. Music sound is very good quality. I don't use the Apple earphones because they don't fit my ears properly so I use Sony earphones. As for accessories, I bought a Belkin leather case and a Griffin Power Block for wall charging.I think you will enjoy the I Touch.

After never owning an ipod at all, I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasently suprised. It was easy to use and self explanitory. The features are endless. I am discovering new ones almost daily. There is alot of space for pretty much anything you want to put on. It connects to the internet via wifi, so you can download apps, music, and even movies from the ipod itself. There are a ton of free apps for it too. You can even bring up maps and directions. The downside is that for the weather function and a few others, you must be connected to the wifi to use them. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this item to anyone looking for an ipod.

Pretty nice deal! After some trial and error, I was able to get 1725 songs onto this device, and it works awesome! Just wish I knew how to get the games off of it so I can fit more songs. It did take a couple of days to figure it all out (If you cannot fit many songs and you are puzzled as to why it only has room for 700 songs) you need to change the write speed from Ipod write speed (256k) to 128k (cd write speed) . After doing that, I was able to get over 1720 songs onto the Ipod nano, great buy, great use, goes well with my new stereo Ipod dock I bought last month.I was one of the original portable mp3 users (when the rio 600 came out years ago) and I remember the songs skipping, and the capacity was only 15 songs. I was not going to egt another one, but decided to give it a try. Glad I did! I have since recommended more people to this product!!!

my only complaint (this is a refurbished product) is that it came with no documentation whatsoever...no big deal though, just went online and downloaded the manual and voila, instant music to go! It took a little while to figure out how to add "X" number of songs without transferring my whole music library, but that has to do with my unfamiliarity with the PC software, not the product. All in all, a good purchase and I would recommend the product and the means through which I bought it to anyone.

This is an outstanding new ipod from Apple. I have had 3 previous models and this one exceeds them all. The FM radio is excellent with superb sound and sensitivity...stations come in clearly. The pedometer is a welcome plus and the video camera is a Wow. The finish has improved with vibrant colors and the whole ipod is very compact and more elegant than prior models. I can hardly wait for the next generation.

Good product, although the song display doesn't come on at the start of every song like in an older Sony Walkman mp3 player I have. Then it only stays on the screen for 30 seconds, compared to up to a min on the older one when it gave you options as to how long you wanted the song display to remain on the screen when you push a button or at the start of a song. Not a big deal, just was used to the old one. Overall, good product though...

It's a very nice mp3 player, very easy to use. You don't need especially a program to put the songs on it. For the movies' format, unfortunately, you can't use the ".avi" format, I think it's ".wmv". The weakness of this MP3 is the time to put the songs it's very slow.

First the sound is fantastic. The mp3 player is slim and sleek and its compatible with the ps3 . I don't even own a computer I brought it to use with the ps3 so it very compatible to a certain extent.

I bought my Girlfriend one for her birthday and she loves it. Because of this I love it too she is nice and quite during sports. If we go out and watch the game she takes it along (I make sure the place has WYFY) and she just messes with it the whole time.
