I have had multiple Sansa products but I highly recommend that you do NOT buy this item. It works beautifully--and then it dies. The first Sansa my daughter has developed a big white patch on the screen, rendering it unusable. After a major runaround, Sansa finally replaced it. The second Sansa worked for about 2 months, and then stopped being recognizable by the computer. Sansa will not replace this one because I bought the original item more than a year ago. Warranty expired on the first, NO warranty apparently on the second. I never thought I'd buy my daughter an IPod, but I have. At least if it breaks down I can take it to an Apple store and deal with people more competent than those I have dealt with at Sansa.

i bought this item for my husband to use on an upcoming vacation. he wanted to be able to record off the radio. this serves his purpose perfectly. the item is so small and portable, easy to navigate, comes with different chargers, has a memory card slot to expand, and more. the menu is super easy to use. for the value, this item is better than an ipod, and doesn't have to be updated every other minute. he hasn't used it a lot yet to know how long the battery lasts.

I bought this for my Mom's 50 birthday because of the excellent reviews on this site. She absolutely loves it and thanks me for it often. I love everything about it! She uses it when she goes to the gym and she says she has to restrain herself from singing aloud. It has been really easy for her to use which is great since she's never held an ipod or mp3 player in her life. It took her a few days to get used to and now she listens to it all the time. It's easy for her to charge up by just plugging it into her computer. It's so great too because when she wants more songs, you can get a quick upgrade with an large SD card. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I would buy this over an Ipod any day and my husband and I are probably going to buy one for ourselves. I also purchased the clear case so that if she drops it, it doesn't get scratched. What a GREAT deal!

I cant seem to find a working mp3 player these days. My samsung clip broke twice. So I thought Sony would be a quality product but within a week it was freezing on me. I hit the reset button, it would work for a couple of songs then freeze again. Even in radio mode it will just suddenly freeze. Stop. Dead. So I formated, erased all my songs, added them again, reset the thing - Nothing works. It is a piece of junk.

I purchased this player as a result of a good experience with a previous model. Unfortunately this model has a sound dampening system built in so people won't play it to loud. It renders the player useless unless you are listening in a quiet room. Using system settings to increase the volume level from normal to max actually makes the problem worse. The battery also does not fully charge, but that problem is secondary to the volume issue.

This is the best mp3 player I've ever owned, or used. The expansion slot is great. I bought the 4 gig model and then a 4 gig micro sd card, so I basically have a 8 gig model. I've had no problems with this after over 2 months of almost constant use. I don't use it for videos or pictures, so I'm not sure about that. Be sure to update the player. Sansa puts out some awesome updates (folder view, ogg vorbis support, and more).

This is my first MP3 player and I am now in MP3 heaven! I love listening to FM radio music, National Public Radio news, and an excellent selection of audiobooks from the library. I have been "checking out" (from home) audiobooks from two local libraries (who both contact with OverDrive Media for this service). If you want a "quick listen" to audiobooks, you can set the speed to "Fast" (1.4 times usual speed). Tips: (1) When you buy your new Sanza Fuze, remember to go "online" to review the User Manual, which is very clearly written. (2) If you purchase a "cover" for your MP3 player, you can attach a ribbon or lanyard to the cover so you can wear the player and be "hands-free" (without worrying about dropping it). (3) If you let the battery go down very low before re-charging it, you will continue to have a very long battery life in between charges. (Once you start re-charging too frequently, the Lithium battery's "digital memory" somehow gets confused. We made this mistake with our laptop

After several years of owning cheap battery powered mp3 players that routinely froze and died, I finally upgraded! I did a lot of research and decided on this model after reading Amazon reviews. It's sleek, easy to load music onto, simple to use, and appears pretty durable. I wish there was a cover for the additional memory port and the opening where the charger goes b/c I can see this getting dirt& dust in it. I'm not super crazy about "wheeling" up or down for volume BUT I will say it is extremely easy to use once you get the hang of it. A negative for me is that there's no place to attach a lanyard so unless you buy other accessories, you're going to be holding this in your hand and that's not effective for workouts, which is what I bought this for. BUT I knew this going in so purchased an accesory pack that came with the travel charger, cover, arm band and belt clip - and they work great in partnership with the SanDisk Sansa Fuse 4GB player. Positives: simplicity of use, size,

Love this MP3 player...easy to use, lightweight and packs a great sound. Coupled with Windows Media player, you can create a wonderful digital library for your own listening pleasure.

I love this MP3 player! For the price its really sweet. Its easy to carry because its small and its very easy to use. I just sync my music onto it using Windows Media Player. I have alot of songs on it already and I haven't even used up half the memory. The sound quality is great and the screen quality is nice. The battery life last a really long time. I have no problem cutting it on or off using the push switch on the side. The picture makes the blue look bright and cheap. But the color is actually a little darker and looks better. I wouldn't buy an ipod which is way more expensive when this does the same thing!

Nice mp3 player for the money. Much better deal than an ipod. Nice features, although on/off switch is hard to get to if you are using a skin. Highly recommend the silicone skin and screen protector. Haven't tried the video yet.

cheap; light and easy; I love the FM feature when i dont' have time to download. I like to just run and go. I am on the computer all day so when it comes to updating tech. at home I'm the worst. The FM feature solves all of those problems. It is easy to use; you don't have to read another manual; just pi9ck it up and go and it was cheap.

Colby Unit appears to work well. However as a new user to the MP3 world, written instructions for this unit are very limited. User Booklet almost useless. Would have been great to know how to properly use this device without all the trial and errors. Yup, I know user error, true enough but still a little written instuctional help would have been nice.

Hubby didn't want one--till he saw mine. Got one for him and one for my 91 year old dad. Hubby loves his, as I do mine. Daddy is enjoying his but has to get someone to load his music and courses (yes, he's taking courses on cd's); understandable at his age. He is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids but is able to use the ear buds that came with the player. So small and easy to keep with you. Great sound, even on plane. I was worried that I would need noise isolating ear buds for flight but buds that came with it work just fine. I also got the clear case for protection and so we can mark players as we have two identical ones in our house--we both wanted color and love the color. Got house and car chargers. Haven't needed those as am always where I can charge from usb. Like that I can add capacity with sd chip but don't think I'll need more than the 2 gig it has. If I would change anything it would be to have ear bud line on reel.

Here are the specifications included in the instruction manual: Audio Format: MP3; WMA Video: AMV; 160x128, 25fps (convert video files with included software--there's no disc, it's all on the player) Photo: JPG, BMP, GIF So, I bought this MP3 player for myself. At $36 and in the color I wanted, this is the perfect device for my needs. Total set up time: 1 minute Total time to tx files: Under 1 minute Appearance: So pretty :) It's perfect for the price. How can you go wrong?

I have never been a fan of people with ear pods hanging off their head but I have been assigned in Afghanistan for 7 months now and needed something to help me have down time and sometimes to tune out my co-workers. This device is simple to use and I love the fact I can lock it so that it does not turn off or otherwise accept changes when something presses up against it. I have aready maxed out the drive with songs I bought from Amazon MP3 downloads and have more hours of music than I ever thought possible.

This is the first mp3 player I've ever owned (never wanted to deal with Apple), and I've had it now for about a week. It couldn't be easier to learn to use; I had no problem at all figuring it out and transferring my music and podcasts onto it (haven't tried any video). Volume could be more powerful (some songs are hard to hear at full volume with street noise), but better earpods will probably solve that issue. The radio reception is great. The scroll wheel makes navigating quick and even fun. The on/off/hold switch is recessed and tiny, so not terribly user-friendly. I haven't yet run down the battery (I do recharge it every couple of days). It's extremely lightweight and very cute, too; it fits nicely in my (small) hand. Another reviewer was blown away by Sandisk's tech support so I contacted Sandisk to register my Fuze, as the registration site is down. A person with a name e-mailed me back *within a couple of minutes* with the registration info. Great player, great company,

After reading the reviews of others about this product I decided to take my chances, and it was totally worth it ! As said before, I have dropped this thing tons of times on hard concrete and it works just fine. My friend dropped her MP3 on hard linoleum and now it won't turn on at all. lol (Different brand of course) It's pretty easy to use. I've had it for about a month and my battery is still working, plus I listen to it all day and I find that a full battery charge is more than enough to get me through the day. The sound is really good. If you turn the sound all the way up 1. You will be bursting your ear drums, but 2. You can sit your MP3 down and listen to it with no headphones on. The only complaints I have about this is it says its 4.0 Gigabytes, but it technically start at 3.6 Gigabytes, that's a bit annoying to me. And realistically you can only get about 500 songs on here. Only one time did it freeze up on me. But if you hold down the off button for 20 seconds it resets itself.
