Good looking, agree with other reviews EXCEPT after just 2 months of light use the corner trim has totally worn off (don't know how since this area doesn't get any extra pressure or wear - must just have been a defective piece of trim).Called Belkin - and after way too long in voice mail h*** they said I could exchange it under warranty BUT I'd have to pay cost of shipping one way - with time to mail it and cost of postage it will cost more than buying another one !!!! So I like it but will have to buy another to have an intact product - probably will try a different manufacturer this time.

I really like this case. I didn't like the price I paid, but it wasn't full price, so I guess I did okay. I needed a case immediately, so I didn't have time to buy it online.
This case is great! It comes with two back pieces. Maybe the 80 GB iPod and the 160 are different sizes. I have the 160 GB version. This case snaps around it like a glove.
I took a star off because, as another reviewer said, the plastic cover over the click wheel renders it pretty much useless. I had to press so hard, and I ended up doing things I didn't want to do since I was pushing all kinds of buttons. This was easily remedied by removing the click wheel plastic.
The openings in the case allow you to charge it in the case, put in your headphones and access the hold button. No complaints there.
I would suggest cleaning your iPod before you put it in the case. The back is clear and you can see the chrome clearly--you know that means you can see all the smudges on it. I just got it recently, so I haven't

This ipod classic leather case is classy looking. I love the small bit of texture on the front lower part. The ivory color with the burnt orange trim is a nice touch. The case fits well. There isn't any undo sliding around. The screen protector stays in place. The small velcro tab works well. Cords are easily slipped into place while the ipod is in the case. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Ok - I didn't purchase an iPod until recently, but I love it. I travel a great deal for work and use it primarily to listen to books when confined to the airport! I wanted something to protect the iPod and the Belkin case was just the ticket! My selection was pink - and that makes it girly - but, the case is of good quality leather and can easily fit into my laptop bag or purse. It is sturdy enough to prevent the iPod wheel from being turned on in error while not in use - and being pink - it's easy to find in my purse!

I wasn't crazy about the color options the Classic IPod offers (black or silver) so I bought this case to give it a twist. Aside from being very practical and easy to use, it looks great. People asked me if this was made by a very expensive hangbag maker! I love it!

I completely agree that this carrier is very durable and secure. However, the major complaint I have is that it's extremely difficult to work the click wheel for spinning to find songs, albums, etc. -- the plastic protective shield is too thick. To try to spin, you have to press a bit hard to get the ipod to sense it and then it often "thinks" you are clicking (not spinning) and selects something I don't want. Forget it if you want to try to rapidly scroll through the songs. Then, when you get too frustrated and try to get the ipod out to do it yourself, it's hard to get out (I suspect this will become easier the more I use it). I am even thinking about cutting a hole in the front of it so I can actually use the wheel! I suggest trying to find an armband that has an opening for the click wheel.

This case allows me to have the smallest possible case with maximum protection. It is also clear, so I can see the original color of my ipod. I'm very happy with it, and have owned it for about 6 months now. I would get another one if something happened to it.

We bought two of these and are pleased with the quality, it looks like it will hold up well. It's lightweight and you can use the iPod buttons well through the plastic shield. The cover (which is the middle item in the picture) is a little cumbersome to attach, but it does work. Note: the armband is made for biceps 17.5" or smaller.

Looks and functions great. Well constructed with quality materials. I like the flip front with a magnetic catch for protection of the screen and the clip on the back is great for securing the case. There is also a pocket on the inside of the flap for storage of flat items.

The item showed up and worked great. My only complaint is that Amazon listed the item as in-stock yet took 3 days to process and ship. I got the item a week later.

I purchased this as a gift for an iPod I had also purchased as a gift and was excited to have found a professional-looking leather case that was (by description) going to fit the new, larger generation of iPod classic. However, when I received the product, the box was clearly marked to only fit up to the 80G video iPod -- not the 160G video iPod. Now, it does fit the 160G classic -- only not the video version, which is about the only 160G version on the market right now. As a result, I more or less feel as though I was taken advantage of by Amazon due to the product description not being entirely accurate. I would like to try to get a refund for this item, but the shipping and restocking costs make that option not viable. Just beware of what you are purchasing; it will not fit the 160G video (or 6th generation) iPod. Caveat emptor.

A great solution for my dilema. I bought this cover for my Ipod nano and no regrets. Then I bought it for my 60G and loved it. Then my wife saw it!!! You can imagine the rest... Her 80G needs a cover... AND IT COMES IN PINK! Like I mentioned on my previous review of this cover: "Good choice. It fits the ipod very well. It gives a profesional look and full protection. Once you open the cover the ipod can be easily slide in and out from the side. The closure is velcro. Not bad, but I prefer the magnetic closure of the nano cover. Size does make a difference so I guess that is why the velcro. The cover permits access to all the features of the ipod. I recommend it!"

My first impression of this case was "Wow it's so pretty and pink! I love hexagons!!"

But upon testing it out, it disappoints me how the click wheel has grown insensitive because of the plastic covering.
The plastic over the screen has gotten very scratched up and it is hard to watch the videos clearly.
Because of these two things, this is why I give it a 3 out of 5.
Thankfully I did not spend as much money on this case because of ordering on Amazon.com than other places(coughapplecough)!

I did I lot of research before I bought a case for my new ipod classic (80GB), and this got the best reviews overall. It's inexpensive, slim, styled to fit the 80GB, and COVERS THE SCREEN. It also covers the wheel with plastic, but it does not affect the controls at all. The case was easy to snap together and is very sturdy, not to mention attractive. I'm extremely happy with it!

The case is an off white and orange color with a hexigon design on the front and inside and it has a velcro tab to keep it safe and secure when its not in use. You can use/charge it while its in the case and it also has a screen protector, which some other cases dont have.

It is a great case, it fits perfectly, it is not good to protect the ipod of big drops but it looks very nice and you do not have to expend a lot of money. If you are looking for a really protection this product is not for you, it will only protect the ipod for some scratches and you have to have in mind that this case was designed for that propose.

Good silicone case. The silicone is somewhat thin (compared to the belkin silicone case I bought for my old 2nd generation ipod Belkin F8Z060 Sports Sleeve for iPod nanos (Black)), but I expect it to protect my ipod just fine. The picture above is correct, the silicone case DOES indeed cover the click-wheel. The click-wheel still works with a layer of silicone over it, although not as well. I was hoping for a screen protector (as was included in the last ipod belkin case I purchased) but I didn't see one in the package.
I have "normal" sized biceps for a female, and the armband fits great. I don't think this would fit anyone with large arms.
Overall, the case is pretty good especially considering it's low price.

This is the first case I have bought for my 80GB iPod Classic, but am thinking about investing in another one. It was cheaper than a lot of the other cases I saw, but looked pretty solid with its clear acrylic construction. I like how it covers every inch of the iPod surface, including the click wheel and screen, only leaving openings for the crucial access points (dock connector, headphone outlet, and hold button). Manipulating the click wheel through the thin plastic feels a little weird at first, though I guess you get used to it--it's still pretty responsive, but the texture just doesn't feel nearly as smooth as the original click wheel surface itself. There's a little more friction, and the center button has a bit of a raised bubble over it.. I guess this plascticy feeling is the trade-off that must be made for having complete protection.
