I bought this for my daughter and she loves singing High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and Camp Rock. So this was perfect for her. I was really impressed with how Disney put this product together. Normally on Karaoke, you get some fake singer and a generic picture of 2 couples riding a horse on a beach. Not this one. You not only get the actual song, but you also get clips directly from the movie or a clip from the actual concert. The video also looks great on screen. They are DVD quality. Also fun was the duet mode, but you need 2 mics for it.
Now the bad part. They do have a section for trying to teach you how to sing, but it is not done very well. It would have been good if you could pick a song and have them go over it slowly. You do not have control as to what key the song is played in or much control over the mic settings.
However, even though the songs are fast and pretty difficult to sing, my daughter had a blast singing to them.

My daughter is 6 1/2 and has never liked video games very much. She will play for a little while and then move on to other things. We rented Tinkerbell to see if she would like it (she loves the Fairy series books). It was the FIRST time she has ever not wanted to put a game down. She figured the game out without any instructions and loved flying Tinkerbell around and meeting other fairies. Graphics are outstanding and Tinkerbell and the other fairies are adorable. It was a sad day when we had to return the rental but I have already picked one up for Christmas.
NOTE: As other posters have mentioned, you do need to be an independent reader to play without parental help.

(I'm using my mom's account) I thought this game was going to stink because it's a game from a movie, and most games that come from movies are horrible. But this game is my favorite out of the 3 DS games that I have!!! You play as Tinkerbell but you can change her outfit. It's like an RPG game JUST for girls! You go around playing fun minigames, bringing the four seasons to the Mainland, fixing things for friends, making accessories, finding things for your friends, and you can have your "fortune" told to you by Tinkerbell. If you LOVE Tinkerbell as much as I do, then you should get this game!!!

My 8 year old daughter is a big Disney Never Fairy fan. She has read all the books and loved the new Tinkerbell movie. I was excited to see this game. She has never enjoyed playing games, since she outgrew her Leapster. Once she opened the game and began playing it, it was difficult to get her to stop. It is like the magic of the fairy world has come alive for her.
There is a lot of reading on about a 3rd grade level involved with this game. There is also a certain amount of dexterity required to accomplish some of the game features.
I have also played the game, and as an adult, I enjoy it too!
I recommend this game to Disney Never Fairy fans!

I was expecting this game to be junk. Most of the licensed DS games are, unfortunately. However, this is one exception to the rule. I bought it for my daughter who is frankly, too young to play it. She is almost four and loves Tinkerbell. This game requires you to be able to read though, and at a second or third grade level. The "game" basically is like a fetch-it RPG without any battles. You talk to other fairies that populate the Disney Fairies world and they will ask you to help them find things or to retrieve items from other fairies. Once you complete a set of tasks and gather enough items you go through a change of seasons, and then have to help collect various things to make autumn come, (or winter, spring, summer).
Some fairies have mini games that you can play that will earn you various items in the game. You arrange spots on ladybugs, capture dewdrops and other simple games. All of this is fairly standard fare for a kid's DS title.
What makes the game standout is

Yeah, the graphics of the up-close things (like Rallen talking to people) are good, and the text and graphics in text boxes & Prizmod are good, but everything else is really rather shabby and pixelly. I'm new to Spectrobes and in fact the only RPG I've really loved has been Pokemon Diamond. And I was expecting something at least of that quality for the graphics, but the scenery in Spectrobes is cheesy-looking and the Spectrobes themselves are very polygonal and sometimes look like drawings on construction paper that have been cut out and glued into a boxy form with curlicues all over them.
I could probably get over this fairly easily - it's no worse than Yugioh Nightmare Troubadour was (but that was what, 3 years ago?). But I also have a great deal of trouble controlling Rallen's movements (and the movements of the Spectrobes while they are in battle). They want to slide all over the place instead of logically following the cursor controls that I choose, and if the cursor is pressed

Only very few games have names that fully symbolize what they are. Pure is one of them. It is not adulterated, no un-necessary crap included. The game is extreme sports on four wheels. Your skill in pulling off tricks gets you the winner trophy.
As this game doesn't try to be a jack of all, either you will fall in love or may not bother about it. If you are one of those who loved games like Skate, older ATV games; dont miss this one. Try out the demo, it is a very good representation of the basic gameplay.
The game is very easy to pick up. But to be a true master and unlock every thing you need to practice a lot. The gameplay is very well balanced; you can't just be a one trick pony. There are three modes in the game, I like all of them. You need a different mind set to champion each style. My most favorite is freestyle. All you are doing is pulling of tricks for extra time. It is purely your skill, nothing else.
For me Graphics is not just polygon count. I would like to see good art

I've been playing video games for more than 20 years, and I've played all types of racing games. This is the first ATV racing game I've ever played...and it's got me HOOKED!
At the start, I heard a very calming voice during the in-game tutorials. He told me that I had to complete 5 tasks before I could start out on the racing tour:
(1) Complete a lap
(2) Pre-load before a jump
(3) Pull a jump trick
(4) Use boost
(5) Complete a lap in 27 seconds or less
The on-screen instructions were very easy to follow. After I completed this task, I found myself at the main menu of options:
(1) World Tour - In my quest to become #1, I would have to conquer 10 separate stages, each one more difficult than the last.
(2) Single Event - This allowed me to complete in a single Race Course, Sprint Course or Freestyle Course, with adjustable difficulty levels for my computerized opponents.
(3) Trial Mode - This option let me try out any completed course with no opponents. I could look for shortcuts, practice

I downloaded the demo from the Playstation Network, and loved it so much that I went to go buy it immediately. I've been looking for a good game to play when friends are over or with my brother, so I was excited about this one. When I got to the store I read the back of the box which says it's only a one player game. WTF???
How can a company dump millions of dollars into the development of a racing game, and not think to make it a two player game? Is this the only racing game on the planet that doesn't have that option? I almost feel like te game should cost half of what other racing games cost.
Granted, there is an online multiplayer mode, but I'm still shocked that that's the only way I can play with friends.
Buy this game if you want to waste your life away alone in a room in front of your TV.

This games is a lot of head-banging, mud-slinging, rock `n roll, good old-fashioned fun. The graphics are cool (and quite good). And YES you can change the resolution! I tried it already (you just have to finish the tutorial first and then go to OPTIONS from main menu.)
The only negative of this game I can think of is its loading/saving times. For some reason when you start it up it goes through a process of saving/loading 4 or 5 times in a row each time for about a minute. It also took some 30 minutes to install. (But, hey, what can you expect from a game marketed (and done by) Disney? Some inelegant code will always be there.) I will say this, however; my computer IS NOT a slow junker: it's a 2.4GHz core 2 duo with winXP and 2GB RAM with a nVidia 8800GTX card and a 2ms monitor. Other games run like you wouldn't believe. Once this one's loaded, it runs well too, though.
This game is tremendous fun (especially for the kiddies) and some adults who like a certain combination of mud and rock

Do not pay attention to the first reviewer. He doesn't know what he is talking about. The screen resolution can indeed be changed after playing through the first little tutorial I believe. Just change the resolution before you start playing your first level using the options. How hard can it be?
There have been so many people commenting on how beautiful the graphics are. Why in the world would they limit it to Starcraft like resolutions?
Just buy the game if you are interested at all in this type, you won't regret it.

This game is very fun to play. The graphics and game play are awsome! When I play this game I get into it so much I grip the controller very hard and my fingers sometimes get a cramp. Highly recommended.

My daughter is 4 years old and mom usually works next to her while she plays her games. I love the "I Spy" series and "Bookworm Adventures" but I had no idea how much fun we could have together, until we introduced the "Enchanted Journey" game. This game is head and shoulders above the typical child video game. If your daughter is a Disney princess fan, she is going to LOVE this game. (she will be able to design the dress, crown, earrings, etc of her in game princess avatar).
The imagery is beautiful and her avatar frees the 'bad' guys (trapped rainbow butterflies) instead of the typical... 'decimate your opponent' games. The messages to my little one are so good that I feel confident walking away for a few minutes.
Enchanted Journey has better graphics than any other child video game I have seen.
We love it and hope that Disney makes more SOON.
The only downside... my daughter wants to be a "bog" for Halloween - I can't sew! I better start learning, huh? : )

Excellent game in near all aspects! The graphics and effects are excellent and the gameplay is awesome, super fluent racing and cool garage customizations , over all a winner!

This game is a really crappy port of the console version to put it bluntly. First off it takes about 45 minutes to install. Then when you finally get to play the game you are stuck in an 800x600 resolution that you can't change. There is no surround sound support as far as I can tell either. The loading screens each take about 5 minutes to load to the next one and there are about 4 to go through before you can actually play. I also didn't see any multiplayer to speak of but I could be wrong. Oh and before you blame my system I want you to know that I have an Intel E8400 C2D 3.0 Ghz 2 gigs of DDR@ PC8500 geforce 8800 GT and Creative X-fi

My grandchildren have the first version of Disney's Magic Artist and they love it. Now this one has taken it's place! Easy to install, easy to use, my 4 year old grandson thinks it's the bomb! I love it because I can use computer time as an incentive for good behavior! This program is easy to work with endless possibilities so it does well for many age groups.
