First off, let me just say that this game is in no way related to THQ/Climax's version from the previous year. So, if you're expecting to powerslide around every corner and hate using brakes, turn around right now. Now it's Capcom/Milestone's turn. (for the next 4-5 years, apparently) The latter of whom actually aren't new to 2 wheels just to next-gen consoles and MotoGP games, but date all the way back to EA's SBK 2000.
The first thing you'll do when you first pop in the game is the tutorial, (that can be skipped) which simply puts you in a quick race while giving you advice for every thing you're doing wrong and, ultimately, recommends one of three handling models - arcade, advanced, sim. 'Arcade' is designed for people who have never touched a bike game or don't know the difference between MotoGP and Motocross. The only time you'll fall is when you slam into another rider or wall at a reasonably high speed and you can brake very late

Devil May Cry makes its appearance on the next gen consoles with a style and gameplay that many fans of the series will be familiar with - you know the adage, if it ain't broke why fix it? For those unfamiliar with the series, Capcom introduced the series in 2005 on the PS2 with a game that many consider to be the best in the series. The series then fell off the map with a couple of hastily produced sequels and now we're given the fourth installment. So, does Devil May Cry live up to its reputation?

Nero takes the lead and his motivation for the acts that follow is his love Kyrie. The adventure begins in the gothic style town of Fortuna, where our new protagonist is on his way to hear his love sing at the local church. However, prior to reaching his destination, he is ambushed by demons and we quickly learn that our hero is anything but ordinary as he decimates them as only a devil hunter can. My son recently purchased an Xbox and this game. He enjoys this game a lot. Please note that this is an expansion pack game and will not be enjoyed by those that already have the original Lost Planet Extreme Condition game. The bad reviews are due to the disappointment of gamers seeking a new and different game. If you do not currently have the original Lost Planet game, you will most likely enjoy this one.

Onimusha Essentials is the latest in Capcom's line of compilation packages, following releases like Resident Evil 10th Anniversary Collection (GameCube) and Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection (PS2). However, Onimusha Essentials should only appeal to those that do not own any of the first three games.
Those familiar with Capcom's compilation sets know what to expect. The packaging is nicely detailed and contains all three games in their original cases. However, the exclusion of 2006's Dawn of Dreams, the fourth installment in the series, detracts heavily from the value of the package. Why Capcom chose to limit the compilation to three games is questionable, but the original and third games make Onimusha Essentials tempting for those looking for solid Action and beautiful graphics.
The original Onimusha was one of the PS2's earliest successes, along with The Bouncer (Squaresoft, now Square-Enix) and Zone of the Enders (Konami). While the second game included several unnecessary elements,

Running this on a Vista Home Premium with a Core2 Duo E8400, GEForce 8800GT, 4GB RAM and it looks GREAT. I do recommend that you get a gamepad for maximum enjoyment, but the keyboard controls aren't terribly awkward (though I do miss the LR triggers). WASD can be a very annoying movement system when the camera is constantly turning as sometimes it will send Nero in a direction you really didn't want him to go.
My main complaints are with the seemingly messy port to the PC: I learned that tabbing out closes the game completely and I've yet to get it to install "successfully"-- it still attempts to start up the autorun before actually playing the game. It's not in the correct folder, nor did it give me a desktop icon. All my drivers are up-to-date, and I haven't been able to find out what's going on.

Is Apollo Justice a true Ace Attorney game? Yes.
Is this worth buying for a fan of the series? Probably.
Is it a strong new step to continue the series? Definitely not.
The gameplay for this episode remains very much the same as the previous games. It's something you have to experience for yourself, but it basically involves a lot of dialogue explaining the murder, then you get the chance to try to prove a point with an intuitive Court Record system. It can feel pretty satisfying, and it's an idea I like to see continued in the series. There are some small minigames where you analyze footprints and fingerprints, but these have been largely to impress reviewers who believe that they matter at all. What matters in a game almost entirely based on text...is the story.
I actually have to congratulate Capcom on deciding to change their star series' main character. Many developers, such as Hideo Kojima, might use their one-hit-wonder until he/she is balding and medicated. However, unfortunately

(Game has MAJOR flaws on Wii system.) This game is fun and addicting. It has beautiful graphics and a good story. Game Concept: 5 stars; Game Play: 1 star. This game has two major flaws, thus the reason for the 1 star game play.
One: The only way to save your progress is to find a mirror pool. There is no other way to save. Unfortunately, on the way to these mirror pools when you've just gained a new skill, you tend to get attacked and often die. This results in having to replay everything you just spent 2 hours on completely over again to re-gain the skill you lost when you died. This sucks and happens often resulting in 1-2 hours of lost work. Mirror Pools usually only appear in one place per level so they can be difficult to get to.
Two: Each level of progress has a special place where you put your new skills to the test. Unfortunately, the game is extremely picky in how it interprets what you do. If you have to draw a circle around a tree, you must draw it the way the game wants

I just bought this game cause i'm pretty much a sucker for any golf game and my god is it awful. The swing mechanics are horrible, the animation is horrible, and the courses are incredibly boring. The animated Wii Controller that sort of caddies you through your swing is incredibly annoying. Only 3 courses, 4 players, I didn't even bother trying to play it online. The golf game that comes with Wii Sports is MUCH more intuitive and creative... and makes much better use of the controller.
I haven't played Tiger Woods yet for the Wii, mainly because I can't stand the Xbox versions of the game and the fact you can't save a game in the middle of a round so you can return and finish it whenever you want. I also haven't played Super Swing Golf yet because I'm completely addicted to the PC version of that game, Albatross18 (http://www.albatross18.com).
If you are looking for a cartoony golf game with crazy fantasy courses and over top special shots, look no further than Albatross 18.

Don't waste your money if you are looking for a game that is as much fun as the golf game that came with Wii, or if you like Tiger Wood 08.
As the previous reviewer states, this game does not take advantage of the fluid motion of the Wii controller. When I contacted tech support about my dissatisfaction, they told me that this game is an 'arcade' game and does not operate like the original Wii golf. Why did they bother.
Might be good for 5 and 6 year olds, but not for anyone looking for a game with the feel of golfing.

In the early years of computer golf the standard "3-Click" style of golf was created to address the limitations of the technology of the time. However, with so many advances in video game technology including the motion sensor Wii-motes that are an integral part of the Wii system, the developer of this game decided to cling to the old school 3-click world. Basically, the swing mechanics of this game work as follows:
1. Press the A button to start your shot (the normal click 1)
2. You pull back and hold the remote to set the power of the shot as indicated on the screen and not based on how far you physically pull the remote back (normally click 2)
3. When the swing meter reaches the optimum impact zone you swing forward trying to time it with the onscreen clubhead (normally click 3)
In my opinion, the much better mechanic would have been to throw the meter away and rely purely on how far you pull the club back for distance and how fast you swing for power. (like real golf)

I think we all know that movie adaptation games are normally so-so at best, but this game is terrible. Graphics: Horrible. One of those games where you can't really control the camera, and sometimes your character gets "lost" on the screen. Plus everything is vaguely "fuzzy". Game play: BORING. Same thing over and over again. Plot is completely not engaging in the least.
Let me put it to you this way. I was 40 points away from 10,000 XBOX achievement points. Looking at the achievements in the game, it would only have taken completing a few levels on any setting to get that benchmark...just plowing through 1/4th of the game would have given me 10,000 points. And I didn't do it. I'm not a points nut, but wow. If I can't be bothered to get 40 points from a game, it probably stinks.

Lost Planet Colonies is one of the first games to be linked with Xbox Live (Microsoft Live). The campeign is fun but this game was truly made for online play. Unlike the original Lost Planet, Lost Planet Colonies offers new single player modes and more online options such as Akrid Hunter, Egg bandit, VS. annhilator and others or just regular Team elimination . There are also some new guns! My personal favorite being the "Hand Cannon" similar to the rocket launcher and bringing no scoping to a new level ;D. I HIGHLY recomend you also get an Xbox controller that connects with your PC for this game due to the fact the keyboard controls are confusing and troublesome. Since you're connected to Xbox Live you have to pay for Xbox Live. It costs $50 a year but you can buy smaller time periods but the year is by far the best deal! But the upside to being connected to Xbox Live is there are LOTS of games so you can play when you want to! So please Buy the game! I look forward to owning you online

This is a very fun game with an extremely well designed 2-player set-up. As opposed to some other games I've played this 2-player does a spilt screen and allows each player free reign, to a point, to run about on their own. It does send you to your partner if they get to certain part of the level before you but it for the most part it lets you each enjoy the game while playing together.
The graphics are quite good and game play is pretty easy and fun. The characters are also pretty cool, it also has a pretty good sense of humor throughout.

This game looks awesome. Much better than the 360/ps3 versions. I dont run anything fancy (core 2 duo e4500 2.2ghz and nvidia geforce 8600gt 2gb ram) gand I have smooth frame rates and everything just looks stunning overall at 1440x900. my only complaint is that this game shoulda been released on pc when the 360/ps3 versions were released. anyways, if u have the system to run it, this game is a must buy!

Capcom went out of there way to bring this onto the PC. Framerate and resolution surpasses the console counterparts. A great game just got much better.

This game has incredible graphics, much better than the Xbox 360 version (especially with DX10 and a good graphics card). I can play in 1600x1200 with all the bells and whistles and antialiasing turned up and i average around 100fps on my 9800GX2 and OC'd Q9450.
Gameplay is fast and exciting, with areas designed for a very immersive, cinematic quality. If you like "twitch" games with lots of blod and gore, you'll absolutely love this game. The difficulty seems pretty easy on easy and sufficiently hard on hard. I have had no technical problems at all, nor have I seen any glitches or bugs.
The voice acting is good but not great, storyline seems like what we've come to expect with this series which is pretty good. Boss battles are simply epic, using incredibly stylish means to defeat your demonic foes.
I highly suggest you take a look at the minimum requirements for this game, as another reviewer made the mistake of buying this game for his woefully inadequate machine. People seem to think

I was very exciting for 'Dead Rising' after seeing some gameplay videos online. Unfortunately, I have yet to and likely never will complete this once promising title.
First, the good. The graphics, in terms of level and character design, are very good, stylized and effective. The gameplay is great, dropping you in the middle of (literally) hundreds of zombies without a hiccup in framerate, to slice and bash away with any makeshift weapon of choice. It's open ended, ensuring no two playthroughs are the same. It has dozens of characters and missions. It is fun to play, for a while.
Unfortunately, the bad more than outweighs the good, and you may never see much of the story. There are a number of issues that, alone wouldn't be so bad, and might even enhance the experience positively (with one glaring, unforgivable exception), but combined cripple any progress past the first hour or two of the game. The inventory system is very limited; weapons, health, and booster items all use the same

Being a fan of Hellboy, I was kind of looking forward to Hellboy: The Science of Evil. However, also being a veteran gamer, I wasn't looking all that forward to the game, simply because of the terrible history of licensed video games. Well, I didn't expect too much out of the game, but what you get here may even be below your lowest expectations. Hellboy: The Science of Evil puts you in the shoes of the title character as you brawl through numerous hordes of baddies and take on the occasional boss. That's it. That's all you do from beginning to end in this game, and it gets boring very, very quickly. Not to mention that the game as a whole is quite short, quite easy, and features some technical issues that all combine to make the game quite bad. The game features some bland environments and choppy animation, and the clipping issues are more distracting than anything else. Co-op multiplayer is also available where you can play as Abe Sapien and Liz in addition to playing as Hellboy,
