Wii Play with Wii Remote: Nintendo Wii
We really enjoyed the Wii Play (with Wii Remote). The games are fairly simple, but are fun little Mini Games. The games include:

Shooting Range - Fun, but aiming with the Wii Remote can be difficult (we recommend using Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training)

Find Mii - Very fun, find and select the Mii described in the question at the start of the game

Table Tennis - A little hard to master, not the best game in the lot

Pose Mii - Just an OK game, change the Mii pose using the controller and drag the Mii onto a matching shape before it falls to the bottom of the screen

Laser Hockey - Fun but hard to master, like air hockey but control can be difficult to master

Billiards - Fun but EXTREAMLY hard to master, this pool game uses the Wii motion controls

Fishing - An OK game, a bit hard to get the timming right to master fishing with the Wii Remote

Charge! - This is a VERY FUN game where you mount your trusty racing cow and knock down scarecrows

Tanks! - This is the best game in the

Wii Play with Wii Remote: Nintendo Wii
This review is written for parents who are buying this for their kids:

Please note that this package does not include all the controllers you need to add a second player for most Wii games. The Wii Nunchuck is necessary for roughly 75% of the games available for the Wii. Even one of the games in Wii Play, the Tank game, requires you to have a Wii Nunchuck for all players... which means if you only bought this package in order to add a 2nd player you would still not have all the controllers you need for two people to play it. They probably didn't add the NunChuck to this package because it would've raised the price to $70. Beyond that, I have no complaints about the Wii Play games themselves, they are simple and fun and they make for a nice bonus. However, please be advised that you will need to also buy a Wii NunChuck if you are buying this in order to let your child play most of the games on his Wii with a friend.

If you already knew this... please ask yourself if other Amazon users

Frontman Wireless Guitar for Wii
As a huge fan of Guitar Hero 3, I bought the Nyko Frontman with eager anticipation that this guitar would be an equivalent, second controller for the GH3 game. Unfortunately, after using the Frontman controller, I greatly prefer the original Activision Les Paul controller that came with GH3.

First the good things: the Frontman controller does seem to be well constructed. The buttons all seem to be of high quality, and the design looks pretty cool. The whammy bar is also much more solid than on the GH3 Les Paul controller.

The main problem with this controller, however, is that the fret buttons are quite stiff. There is definite resistance in pushing these buttons down, and this resistance makes it fairly tough to play difficult solos in Expert mode. The fret buttons are also rounded and recessed, which again make them difficult to press quickly (the roundness also makes them difficult to hold for long periods of time). I became quite frustrated using the Nyko controller with tough GH3

Nyko Kama Wireless Controller for Nintendo Wii
I really wanted to like the Kama. I primarily bought it to play the boxing minigame in Wii Fit. The first time I tried it with Wii Fit it was slow and sluggish. The hits seemed to be a fraction of a second behind half the time. Often time the delay was the difference between a perfect hit and a hit, sometimes it was so bad the hit didn't register. I love the concept of a true wireless nunchuck adapter, and the feel and weight of this product felt great to me. But, I can't give anything more than 1 star to a product which simply fails to perform it only function no matter how good it looks or feels. I can't recommend this product at $15 let alone at $35. Wait for the next version or an official product from Nintendo.

Nyko Kama Wireless Controller for Nintendo Wii
Since the Nintendo Wii came out many gamers have anxiiously been awaiting new ways of playing their favorite games, without the cord from the original Wii Nunchuck. For Nyko, the third-party company they did try to come up with that solution with their wireless Kama Nunchuck add-on. While the concept is clever, sadly the battery dies down very easily after only a few uses. On top of that, it doesn't respond as well to top notch games like Super Mario Galaxy and Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. At around $35, it just doesn't seem to work as well out well for anyone who has the Nintendo Wii nunchuck add-on. I really suggest you stay with the one that came with the Wii, and just hope that Nintendo can make a wireless Nunchuck that works better.

Control: D+

Convience: C-

Overall: D 1/2+

Nyko Technologies 87036 Cord-Free Wireless Adapter for Wii
This is an excellent wireless. I was able to use it with relative ease. I had no cord to tangle up on and that helped a lot. I was always getting wipped by the cord flinging around.
The NEGATIVE part, You will not be about to use this wireless nunchuk with games like; Mario & Sonic olympic games or any game that requires punching or quick movements. the controller will not work for that and has a slight delay that is quite noticeable. It really sucks because I like the hands free and it works great with CRASH.

Nyko Technologies 87036 Cord-Free Wireless Adapter for Wii
Pros:

- the solution for many games that require a lot of crazy movement when using both the wiimote and nunchuk (Wii Sports Boxing, Raving Rabids I and II, Super Mario Party...), though it doesn't really make a difference for games that dont' have crazy movement (Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda, ...)

- easy to setup

- reasonable price for backwards compatibility with existing nunchuks

Cons:

- Nyko is retarded for not building a wrist strap for this wireless add-on. This is a no-brainer given that the Wii is over a year old and that broken flat screen photos were wide spread. Yes, you hold the nunchuk differently but you should never underestimate the way people play games.

Frontman Wireless Guitar for Wii
After waiting several weeks for the unit to ship, we opened the box, hooked it up... and got nothing. The unit is defective. My son is sorely disappointed. The guitar looks a bit cheaper than the original. Buttons are smaller, but it is hard to test something that won't work (even after we made sure we had all Wii updates). We will be sending it back... will try for a replacement once and perhaps review again.

Activision Guitar Hero Wireless Les Paul Controller for Nintendo Wii
For those that don't know, this was originally listed (on other sites) at $79.99. With the Nyko model at $59.99 (or was it 49.99)? So while the price point is still pretty high, I suppose it could be worse.

Otherwise, it's the same guitar packed-in with the game. And it's pretty darn nice.

Though, take note. The features currently showing on amazon.com are:

* Gaming Guitar
* Wireless Features include 2.4Ghz Technology
* Includes Guitar Strap, Stickers
* 2 AA Batteries Required
* Also Features Wireless

Which _definitely_ borders on false advertising. This guitar does _not_ feature 2.4GHz technology; the Wii remote that you insert into it (and which is _not_ included, obviously) does. And I'm not sure what "also features wireless" means, unless it's an attempt to _really_ drill that false claim home (the guitar itself communicates in a 100% wired fashion with your Wii remote). And obviously, because it contains no transmitter and is powered off the Wii remote

Activision Guitar Hero Wireless Les Paul Controller for Nintendo Wii
Seeing as there is no alternative product, other than maybe a few cheaper knock-off guitars, this is your best way to go if you want to have some multiplayer Guitar Hero fun on your Wii.

It's the exact same guitar as the one packaged with the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Bundle.

If you are debating on saving a few dollars to get a "knockoff version" such as the Nyko one, don't bother. I think you would be much better off investing a few more dollars to get the trustworthy guitar that was made by the company that is partnered with the Guitar Hero software developers.

Unfortunately, the price point is a bit on the expensive side, but it is cheaper here than anywhere else I've seen it.

So, if you are looking to play Guitar Hero on your Wii with a 2nd player guitar, look no further. This is the product we have all been awaiting for the past 5 months since Guitar Hero III's release back in November 2007. Have fun rocking out!

Frontman Wireless Guitar for Wii
The Frontman for the Wii is an excellent choice if you want a cheaper, good second guitar for your Guitar Hero. It comes already put together. I could not see that the neck detaches (I was too busy playing instead of looking at the neck). Apparently, there are two different color choices. I received the yellow guitar with white and black pick guards. The other option is a white guitar with black and purple pick guards. There is currently no option for color choice on Amazon - what you get is what you get.
The guitar is comparable to the original, the Frontman is slightly bigger and slightly heavier. The buttons and strum bar are tight and I feel like it is better quality than the original. The strap feels like it is a bit shorter, but not a big problem. In all, I think I like it better than the original! I would suggest getting it as the second guitar for the co-op mode.

Activision Guitar Hero III with Gibson Les Paul Guitar Controller for Nintendo Wii
I'm a 33 yr old stay-at-home mom of two young kids. I am in mommy mode most of the day, which (at times) can be dull. But I love rock music. I've always imagined myself laying down a killer guitar riff, but I have no idea how to play guitar, much less have time to "rock out" (as my kids put it).

My husband recently went nuts and brought home a Wii. It was cool and all, but we don't have many games. Then the other night he went nuts again and surprised us all with Guitar Hero III. We had so much fun playing, that the following night, he went out and bought another guitar just so we could face off. Ok, so we haven't yet mastered more than the green, red, and yellow notes.. but we're kicking "easy's" butt!

The music is fun, and it's super cool that you can earn money to buy extra songs, outfits, videos, etc.. I love it! And you totally have to link your account to GuitarHero.com, so you can get groupies and compare your stats with your friends'. It's SO fun!

Nyko Technologies 87036 Cord-Free Wireless Adapter for Wii
As of this writing the only place that sells this is online or gamestop (which is where I went to purchase this). With that said, unto the review.

For this review I will mention a few games since those games were used to test this product.

Synopsis:
First of all, I have to say I am glad NYKO has finally addressed the biggest complaint about the nunchuck, that is being attached to the remote and not being wireless. This product converts your existing nunchuck into a cord free unit. It is very easy to configure as all you need to do is get your nunchuck, slide it into place then coil the cord around until you finally connect it to the backside of the unit (just remember that when you are coiling to start from the bottom as it will bulge out a bit and you do not want it to bulge out on the top as you will need that space when you are connecting the unit, you won't understand what I am saying until you actually have the unit so keep this in mind). The unit itself is not heavy and it feels

Dreamgear DGWII-1007 i Glow Wireless Controller for Nintendo Wii(tm)
If you're not too picky about Gamecube controllers, then the iGLOW will be just fine if you're looking to play GameCube or Virtual Console games (that use a GC controller) on your Wii. It has a good feel to it, with good build quality and an interesting paint job. Syncing is easy enough, pressing a small button on the top of the receiver, then pressing a "Connect" button on control. There is also a turbo button which you can activate by pressing the turbo button and your button of choice simultaneously. This way, you can turbo the "A" or "B" button without affecting the "X" or "Y" buttons.

However, it goes downhill from there.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl plays "OK" using this controller, but the lag and insensitivity of the buttons and stick put you immediately at a disadvantage against a wired Gamecube controller, and especially against the super sensitive Wii Classic Controller.

The iGLOW itself is heavier than a wired Gamecube controller. Its A-B-X-Y button matrix is a bit closer

Dreamgear DGWII-1007 i Glow Wireless Controller for Nintendo Wii(tm)
Do not listen to the first few posters here, because they are grossly uninformed. Anyone that knows anything about the Wii knows that Gamecube controllers only work with Gamecube games. The slot that you plug the wireless connector into is not even seen by the Wii side of the console. The Wii is 2 consoles in one, and Gamecube does not read the standard wireless signals from the Wiimote anymore than the Wii can utilize any device plugged into the Gamecube slots.

Nintendo sells the "Classic Controller" for use with Wii games that plugs into the bottom of the Wiimote so that you can play Wii games with a standard feeling controller, which is what those 2 reviewers should have bought. 5 minutes of research would have saved them the headache of a misinformed purchase on their part.

Do not give a product a bad review simply because you are the one that is uninformed. This device works flawlessly for those that know the difference between Wii games and Gamecube games.

Excellent buy, worth

Activision Guitar Hero III with Gibson Les Paul Guitar Controller for Nintendo Wii
I'm someone who had never played Guitar Hero 1 or 2 before I bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. I can't really compare it previous versions of the game, nor can I compare it to the other systems' versions of Guitar Hero 3. What I can do is give a viewpoint to what this game is like to someone just playing this series for the first time.

The sound is a big part of what this game is about, and obviously I'm talking about the sound track in large part. Of the incredibly varied list of songs, over 70 in all, I enjoyed most of them. There are a few songs in the bonus track listing that I don't even both to play because the music just isn't good, but overall still far more hits than misses. As a first time Guitar Hero player a big thumbs up for the soundtrack, though there's certainly room to improve in future versions.

Now on to the gameplay. There is certainly a substatial learning curve for new players. Obviously you start with easy mode, which isn't bad as begininer song. Then on medium

Nyko Charge Station Charging Dock and Rechargeable Battery Pack Set for Nintendo Wii
Just wish the battery was the same size as the standard Battery Cover, That extra size means your controllers wont fit properly into most of the devices the controller can be put into, IE the Wii Zapper.

Nyko Charge Station Charging Dock and Rechargeable Battery Pack Set for Nintendo Wii
Pros: Never replace batteries Holds a long charge Lights indicate when they're done charging
Cons: Nothing at all
If you have a Wii, you can't go without one of these. It's a wiimote charger, no more need for batteries.

I basically have this, but the brand I have is GigaWare (Wasn't on the site.). I believe this plugs into the wall, but mine plugs into my Wii via USB.

This product is absolutely amazing. You can just play Wii all day, then put the controllers in the charger when you go to bed. The next morning, they'll be fully charged.

I got one of these right when I got my Wii. I've never used batteries, and I don't get why people do.

When you get the product, you get special battery covers to put on your wiimotes. So put those on, then click the red Sync button on your Wii. Using a pen or something, push down the button on the cover of the wiimote so that it hits the red button inside (batteries are on the cover, so you cant just push the button inside the wiimote).

Overalll, if you have a Wii, get one of these!

Activision Guitar Hero III with Gibson Les Paul Guitar Controller for Nintendo Wii
Pros: Wireless guitar Wifi multiplayer Different skill levels Career mode When you screw up, it plays the sound on your wiimote, not the TV
Cons: Nothing, really
I got this game for Christmas, it was my first Wii game (besides Wii Play and Wii Sports).

It cost $90 for the game and the guitar (wireless of course!)

It's a really fun game, even if you don't know how to play guitar. I started off my career on easy, of course, and now I'm starting hard. However, I really suck at doing the fifth finger notes! So all I'm really good at is Medium, and I finally passed Fire and Flames medium.

I really like that on this game, you can face people via wifi. It's really fun, and you can do different types of battles and stuff. Also, I like that the wiimote makes a noise when you mess up instead of the TV, so you know exactly when you're playing wrong, especially with multiplayer.

Overall, it's a great game, I reccomend it.
